Excellent tour with of Accra! Highly recommend this day with Vince as he was very professional, easy company, so knowledgeable and conveyed great information to us about Accra, Ghana & the region. He also happily adjusted the tour to our wishes.

Vince was absolutely wonderful ! he carries a wealth of knowledge. this tour is exactly what i needed to better understand my roots. he’s relationship with the community in evident and throughout the experience his number one priority is to make sure you are comfortable, so
you can enjoy the tour. he continuously checks in to ensure you do not have any questions, so you are not listening to him or others speak the entire time. i enjoyed the mini pop quizzes he would give me to ensure i was paying attention lol! the food place we went to was absolutely delicious. that jollof was 10/10! i would definitely book other experiences with him. thank you so much, Vince!

I spent a full day touring Accra with Vince, and I can honestly say it was one of the highlights of my trip. Vince is an outstanding guide. He’s thoughtful, charismatic, and extremely knowledgeable about the history and culture of Ghana.

This tour is a must! We did this tour as soon as we got to Ghana and it was a great way to see some of the most important sites in Accra. Vince was an amazing tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Ghana and the unfortunate history of slavery. He was fun and welcoming and really made this an enjoyable experience for us. You have to do this tour when you come to Accra.

AMAZING. This tour is a must WHEN you come to Ghana 😉 The host Vince went above and beyond. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, kind, well organized and very professional! We loved all of the sights he took us too and the history we learned and got to see. We were also grateful for the private vehicle and the included lunch at Roots restaurant was so delicious!!

This is run by moodtohope tours which is a small business run by Vince, our guide. He is SOOOO great I cannot recommend him enough. He was honestly the best guide we had yet. He is very knowledgeable. We booked this last minute (same day booking) and he accommodated everything we needed and he picked us up from the restaurant where we had breakfast. The Van he arranged had AC and was very comfortable throughout the tour. He tailored the tour for everything we wanted to see and more. (We had already done some things solo which I do not recommend lol tour guide for everything in Accra is best!). We went to the arts center, WEB Du Bois Museum, Independence Square, the National Museum of Ghana, and he explained the history all the way. Please please please book this tour. Support local, small business like this tour operator and I promise you will not be disappointed. He has so much passion for his work and it shows in the quality of tour you will get.
