Enjoyed visiting the key cultural sights in Accra and was afforded ample time to explore at each spot! The only blemish was a delay to the start of the tour and lack of clarity as to tour guides, but other than that I would recommend!

Samuel was exceptional, exceptional, exceptional ! I’d give him 6 out of 5 stars! He was well versed on Ghanaian history, current affairs, culture and religion. My sky-high visit to the enormous outdoor market was eye-opening. But the best thing about my half day tour was Samuel’s warm, outgoing and friendly personality. I felt totally comfortable from the moment he picked me up. He is one of the top guides I’ve had in my life and I’d recommend him to anyone who wants to know more about Accra, Ghana.

My husband, friend, and I had a wonderful time on the Experience the Beauty, History and Culture of Accra in a Day tour. Our guide, Elijah, was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating, he even let us stop for lunch, though it wasn’t originally included. We learned so much about the history of Accra and truly enjoyed the experience.
A few tips: eat before you go, pack water and sunscreen, and bring patience, Ghana’s sun and traffic are no joke! We were picked up around 9am and dropped off around 4pm, so it’s a full day.
One thing to note: we were a bit surprised that the tour vehicle was an older Toyota Corolla. It did have AC, and since it was just the four of us, it worked fine, but with more people, it would’ve been tight.
Overall, we had a great day and would recommend this tour for anyone wanting to explore Accra’s rich history and culture.

This is a detailed visit of Ghana covering some of the main history of the city of Accra. Emmanuel was kind and checked in often to make sure guests were comfortable. Appreciative of the openness to questions and was very professional. You get the experience you make. Kwame at the Dubois centre was very knowledgeable and the view of the market was amazing. BigBenTours provided an amazing city tour of Accra to my mother and I during our stay in Ghana last week. During the tour, we went to several historical areas and landmarks. We learned a great deal about the city during this tour alone which was our very first during our stay. In fact, we enjoyed ourselves so much that we booked an additional tour of Afajedo mountain for later in the week. We ended with a private tour with our family which was great! The stops around Accra were amazing but unfortunately we couldn't make it to Makola Market as the traffic and parking lots were insanely busy! We stopped at Breakfast to Breakfast for lunch which was good enough for us to stop at again on our own on our last day in Ghana! Our guide was knowledgeable and very friendly! Highy recommend this tour!

I am a solo traveler and Emmanuel was my wonderful guide today. Wow, this was a beautiful experience. He is so knowledgeable on everything, well informed, educated me and since I am military allowed me to meet someone who is in the Ghana Navy Military.i can't stress enough how important is it for anyone to book this excursion. It was a private tour with no other travelers. People need to be aware of that. Past that first surprise, everything went well. Some places are not open on Sundays. Be aware of that.

I had the most amazing experience with Emmanuel for my tour through Accra. We hit all the major landmarks and his driving skills was incredible. I felt safe and comfortable as a solo traveler. Samuel did a great job as the tour guide of Accra. So much to see from the Makula market, to Jamestown and the lighthouse, to the Black Star monument, museum, the tomb site of President Nhrumah and the art center. So interesting to continue learning about Ghana’s rich history!

A busy fun filled day, especially on a hot humid day. Bring lots of water and a few little snacks. Our tour guide was wonderful and gave us so much information about this amazing place. Shopping in the market place was EPIC for us.
