We had an awesome tour with Peter. We went around the city in a very nice, spacious bus, best tour bus we’ve have ridden so far. Peter was very knowledgeable, friendly, very patient, considerate and gave us ample time to take pictures and we were never rushed. We were picked up from the hotel and at the end of the tour, we finished off at market square which is about 8min walk from the hotel.

Fantastic and informative day

Terrific tour for our three-generation trip to Finland! Darius picked us up promptly and his van was roomy (seats 6 passengers comfortably plus room in the trunk for bags). He has a microphone and speaker to make it easy for people in the back to hear him clearly – nice touch, especially for those hard of hearing! The 40-minute trip to Porvoo included his rich history of Finland which provides context for the current Finnish culture, food, religion, and more. This was our third tour, and we learned a lot that was not covered in other tours! Porvoo itself is lovely – a beautiful and typical Finnish town with a rich history. Darius moved comfortably at our pace – 3 generations means we can be very slow on uphills (and there are a few hills here!) – and stops included a coffeehouse with the top-rated Porvoo cake (we also stopped at a second shop for gluten-free goodies), the beautiful and typical church, the standard views of Porvoo, a chocolate/candy shop and more. Highly recommend this tour! Wear good walking shoes (all cobblestones!) and layers for the Finnish weather!

The whole ride felt like stepping into a postcard: endless snow, silent forests, and that calm Arctic atmosphere that makes you slow down and just take it all in. The sleigh ride itself was magical — simple, quiet, and honestly the perfect way to experience Lapland nature in such an authentic way. Feeding the reindeer afterwards was also such a special moment, especially if you love animals and want a closer connection with the experience. One thing I really appreciated was the customer service and how attentive the team was. My partner and I were staying in Ivalo (around 45 minutes away) and I didn’t realize how far that was when I booked. The guide noticed immediately and messaged me right away to confirm our location, which I honestly appreciated so much — it saved us from last-minute stress. They also helped us arrange transportation and explained the options clearly. We ended up booking a private round-trip shuttle for 220 EUR for two people, which was super convenient and smooth. It’s not included in the tour price, but the fact that they proactively caught the issue and helped coordinate everything made the whole experience feel well-managed and cared for. Not a “meh” at all — but if you’re going in early January, bring very warm clothes.
