What are people saying about Edinburgh

Great way to see Edinburgh
There are 3 different bus routes, each one traveling to see some different places, so over 2 days, we went on all 3 routes, and we loved it. On 2 of the busses, there was pre-recorded commentary and on one, we had a very interesting and entertaining Scottish man telling us about everything we were seeing. He had some funny stories to tell and really made for an educational ride. We loved the overview of Edinburgh so we knew what we wanted to go back to later and explore.

Highly recommend!
A wonderful tour, covering the highlights of the castle and it's history. Max our tour guide had an incredible depth of knowledge when it came to Scottish history, yet, kept it concise and fun. He allowed space for questions and gave us recommendations for exploring the castle on our own. Highly recommend!

Great tour with Jess!
We really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it.
Jess was knowledgeable, engaging, and an excellent storyteller. We especially enjoyed her perspective on the role of women in Scottish history, which added depth to the experience and highlighted stories that are often overlooked.
For anyone considering this tour, it's worth noting that it's more standing than walking. The group stops at various locations throughout Old Town while Jess shares the history and stories behind each site.
A fantastic introduction to Edinburgh and one of the highlights of our trip!

Definitely book!
Stuart was our guide on a rainy day and it was totally worth it! He’s a wealth of knowledge and helped us find areas we would not have found on our own. He also provided us with insight into many of the buildings we had passed by and made it a more meaningful experience!

Great Edinburgh Tour!
This was a great tour. Our guide (French) was very knowledgeable and gave us quite a bit of history and context starting below ground and throughout royal mile. I highly recommend if you are visiting the city. BTW, To meet with the group, look for the little white kiosk outside of Starbucks!

Mark gave us an excellent overview of some of the highlights of the city of Edinburgh, its history and development down through the ages. He delivered the information in a very clear, well projected voice and showed considerable mastery of his subject.

David was AMAZING as our tour guide! The tour took us around the city and underground telling the dark stories that other tours don't cover. David did a great job bring the stories he told to life and was very entertaining the whole time. If you go be sure to make sure he's your guide!

Great tour, lovely views
Edinburgh is hilly, but the walk was pretty easy and the guide went slowly with lots of stops to give us bits of history about nearby landmarks. The tour included tickets to Edinburgh castle and seeing the Crown Jewels, and ended near Grassmarket lane, which has tons of cafes, pubs and shopping as well as being very picturesque. Was a great review of Scottish history - our guide was very knowledgeable.

Fun and informative Harry Potter tour.
Our group enjoyed this easy walking tour of locations around Edinburgh that provided JK Rowling with inspiration for the Harry Potter books. Robbie sorted us into the four Hogwarts houses and awarded us points for our knowledge of Potter trivia along the tour. It was entertaining and informative. Robbie is an excellent guide who obviously knows and loves the world of Harry Potter. Even my sister, who is not a Harry Potter fan, enjoyed the stories and locations. It was a fun way to learn more about the world of Harry Potter while getting to see parts of Edinburgh that we would have otherwise missed. Robbie also gave us some great suggestions of places to have dinner. Five star tour!

Jen the TourGuide was awesome!!
Well, it all started with my mistakes! I booked a Spanish speaking tour- we don’t speak Spanish. Then, I didn’t read that we had a meeting place rather than meeting at the castle. Once the mistakes were realized, we went up to a man with a black/yellow umbrella and asked questions. He jumped into action and messaged someone to come help us. Within a few minutes, someone arrived with our tickets and allowed us to join in with an English speaking tour. What a stoke of luck! We ended up with Jen and what a delight! She is a wealth of information and entertaining! What a great time!

A Fantastic Way to Discover Edinburgh!
We did the two-hour walking tour in the afternoon, and honestly, we could have kept going for another couple of hours!
We love history and discovering the hidden stories and legends behind a city, and Kieran was the perfect guide for that. He shared lots of fascinating stories about Edinburgh and pointed out things we would never have noticed on our own. His sense of humor made the tour both entertaining and engaging, so we learned a lot while having some laughs along the way.
As Outlander and Harry Potter fans, we also enjoyed hearing about Edinburgh's connections to both worlds, as well as learning about other movies and TV series that were inspired by the city. It made the tour even more interesting for us.
We had a short time in Edinburgh, and this tour was the perfect way to get to know the city beyond simply walking around its beautiful streets. Edinburgh is such a beautiful and magical place, and you can really feel that atmosphere as you explore it. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city. Don't hesitate to book it—you won't regret it!

Nice way to experience the scary vaults of Edinburgh
Met the tour guide Diva at the location specified. We were early and so was she. Gave us a little tour of knowledge and history of Edinburgh along the Royal Mile on the way to the vaults.
Only 6 of us on our group so we could all see and hear what was going on.
Vaults are creepy with a few stories to match some interesting torture items to view before entering the vaults.
Nice tour approx 1 hour. Very enjoyable.
Thank you Diva. X
