What are people saying about Edinburgh

Great Tour!
Marty was great! Very knowledgeable about Scottish history as well as Outlander. He’s the only person I’ve met who might like it more than myself. The only thing I feel would improve the tour would be if some of the castle entry fees were covered by the tour fee.

Great balance between walking and driving
Even though we were unlucky with the weather, the trip was great. Loch Lomond is magical, Castle Stirling is fascinating and I was mesmerized with the Kelpies. Out guide Steven told us a lot of interesting history facts while making us laugh all the time. And we all came to the conclusion that he is a genius with his changes and additions to the program. All the attractions are close enough, so you don't spend that much time on a bus (which was also fine thanks to all the stories told by Steven). I am really glad I went to that trip.

Highly recommended tour AND TERRIFIC guide
You are on a bus most of the time. The scenery is magnificent! And Brian was a fabulous tour guide. A great day of beautiful stops. It was Brian’s deep knowledge, wonderful stories, and sense of humor that made this experience so enjoyable. Thank you, Brian. How he can drive a bus AND talk was a marvel.

Amazing tour.
The whole tour is an amazing way to get to know all these beautiful places and sites around the highlands, glencoe and Lochness. The tour guide and bus driver Leon made the trip very comfortable by pointing us sites to lookout, history, and good music during the whole trip. At Lochness I recommend getting into the cruise to get to know better this amazing and mysterious place. Very much recommended.

Not seeing something you are looking for?

Edinburgh is near centuries-old castles and abbeys, scenic lochs and valleys, and many more sites that make perfect Edinburgh day trips. Get out to the Highlands to experience windswept landscapes and moody skies, and see if you can find the Loch Ness monster. Take a visit to neighboring coastal fishing villages and hear all about their history. Try some scotch on tasting tours, and get involved in some Scottish storytelling, too. There are plenty of preplanned Edinburgh day trips to keep you entertained.
