Fantastic Learning Experience

Martin was an extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, and compassionate tour guide. He made sure that everyone was getting the best possible experience during our tour. St. Patrick’s Cathedral was our starting point and the Book of Kells/Long Library was our last stop, but Martin made sure that everyone step in between was a lovely, learning experience. Fantastic food tour!

We took a secret food tour with Ronan, our guide. Sampled lots of traditional and fun Irish foods along many stops. Irish coffee, brownie, amazing stew with soda bread, black and white puddings and Irish cheese sampling, oysters, and locally made family farm ice cream. Ronan provided us lots of history during our walk to each destination and had such a nice friendliness about him. We really enjoyed his stories and he selected some excellent spots for us to try some delicious foods. You will really enjoy your tour.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience on this tour! From start to finish, everything was well organized, enjoyable, and packed with incredible sights. Our guides, Mike and Alec, were outstanding. They were knowledgeable, engaging, and made the entire day both informative and fun. One of the highlights was our walk through Kilkenny, where Mike shared so much history and local insight that brought the town to life. The scenery throughout the day was breathtaking. We got to experience some of the most beautiful parts of the Irish countryside, and the scenic drive through the mountains was simply stunning. There were countless opportunities to take in the views and appreciate the natural beauty of Ireland. Yep a tad commercial and Disney-like but enjoyable way to spend two hours. Tasting was cute then beer on top floor the triumph. Pity to get any seating due to the fellow punters is virtually impossible. We had to stand to get the view whilst sipping or go down one floor and get ample seating and people watch. Enjoyed the outing!

This tour was an excellent experience from start to finish. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative, providing great context throughout the journey and at each stop. I would recommend that travelers research in advance whether they prefer visiting the Titanic Museum or taking the Belfast Black Cab tour, as both options are excellent and offer very different perspectives of the city. Overall, the tour was well organized, enjoyable, and a great way to experience Belfast in a day.

Delightful Dermot

There is a lot of walking on cobblestone roads so for some it could be problematic. For us it was fine and we enjoyed it very much. One recommendation is to watch the two films before viewing the the Book of Kels. Our tour guide, Dermot, was excellent. A tour is only as good as your guide and this tour was fantastic!
