As evening sets in, meet your tour guide for a journey into the gruesome side of Dublin. Travel by bus to each sinister location, where you have a chance to stroll and hear chilling tales of hauntings and misdeeds.
Head to the first stop—St. Audoen’s Church, one of the city’s most haunted locations. Learn about the site’s grisly past including its bordering district known as ‘Hell,’ 'The Black Dog' jail with its mysterious phantom pig and the burning of Darkey Kelly, an accused witch and serial killer whose infamous ghost still wanders the area.
Your next stop is Kilmainham Jail (Kilmainham Gaol), a menacing stone building that has seen scores of death from battle and execution since its construction in the 1790s. Hear tales about Kilmainham’s resident ghosts before heading to Bully’s Acres, a millennia-old graveyard that was once a ripe picking zone for local grave robbers. Hear tales of body snatching that stretch back to the cemetery's opening.
Afterward, you may feel like a drink. Accompany your guide to the Gravediggers Pub, passing by Croppies Acre and St. Michan’s Church along the way. At the pub, partake in a complimentary ‘ghoulish brew’ with your group.
Your return trip passes by Black Church, also known as St. Mary’s Chapel of Ease, and the ruins of the original Augustinian Priory Chapter House. Your guide provides cringe-worthy tales of the plague house that once stood on the grounds. Return to your original departure point once night has completely descended on the city.

It was a great and fun tour. Lots of facts and the gravedigger bar was a fun ending a cold pint in a graveyard

Such a good break from walking around Dublin. Great staff as they know exactly how to have fun and help in any situation.

Fun starts the minute you board the bus. 1/2 the fun is the reaction from the crowd. Be prepared to laugh a lot and jump a few times.

It’s a great time and a good way to spend a few hours. The actors are great and the stories are intriguing.

Fun way to explore the Dublin and some of it's darker history. The tour guides were incredibly funny and made sure everyone had a great time.
The timing of the tour was great, it never felt like it dragged on, or got boring.
❗Heads up, if you have issues with strobe lights/photosensitive epilepsy. At one point in the tour, all the lights in the bus get turned off, and a bright light flashes repeatedly.

This was a fun little way to spend a couple hours on one of the nights in Dublin that we had free! You get off the bus at 3 separate locations and hear some fun spooky stories about each. The only complaint I have is just that the bus itself doesn’t necessarily smell the freshest! The bus is all boarded up so you can’t open or see out the windows, which I totally get. It’s supposed to be spooky! I have no idea how they could prevent/fix that, but it was just a bit distracting from the experience.

Super fun and cool experience.
Was our 1st night in Dublin so was fun getting a historical backdrop on Dublin’s darker past. The tour guides were hilarious.
Thanks again! 🤘🏽🇮🇪

Ditch the standard sightseeing for a ride on the Gravedigger Ghost Bus, where Dublin’s history is unearthed with a wicked grin. This isn't a dry lecture; it’s a mobile stage production led by performers who embrace the grim reality of the 1840s with sharp, cynical humor.
The atmosphere inside the custom-designed bus is wonderfully claustrophobic, setting the mood for tales of body snatchers and plague pits. While the stops at Kilmainham and St. Audoen’s provide the backdrop, the highlight is the seamless blend of folklore and "craic." Ending at the iconic Kavanagh’s (The Gravediggers) for a pint makes it the most authentic—and eerie—night out in the city. It’s gritty, hilarious, and unapologetically Irish.

You’re on a bus tour and you stop at places and wild characters tell a story. No real “Ghosts” Free shot! Good for a laugh. Not spooky.
Iris_N, Apr 2026
Great fun and history stories. Our first excursion in Dublin and it was great. Will definitely do again
Rod_A, Apr 2026
Great experience. Humor made the experience even more fun. Great cast and the included drink was a nice complement.

John, Stef, and Andy gave a great show and tormented our friend Enrique directly. Some of the stops were inaccessible due to local fuel protests but they did some additional planning and showed us some other locations. The decor, makeup, and storytelling were excellent.
Grace_M, Apr 2026
Tour was fantastic! Sean, Stef, and John did an incredible job. It was very educational while not feeling like school. Sean and Stef are very funny and make the tour so worth while.

Zena_R, Feb 2026
Absolutely brilliant. Great fun and actors were fantastic and very entertaining. Love the songs . Definitely recommend
Manja_M, Feb 2026
Spooky, but we all laughed a lot. We learned a lot about the history of Dublin and Ireland. They make slight changes to the tour when it's raining too heavily. Dress warm though, it's freezing on the bus as there's no heating.
Elizabeth_V, Dec 2025
Really great fun thing to experience, great bunch of boys Shauni and Tony the bus driver really made it
Caroline_S, Nov 2025
Wrap up warm especially in winter! A very informative experience in a spooky, interactive way! All seats on the bus are upstairs so something to consider.
Jeremiah_O, Nov 2025

We were in Dublin right before Halloween and this was the perfect spooky fun activity! Sean was the best, friendliest ghost guide and kept the group entertained and engaged in the ghoststories with enthusiasm and interactive shenanigans up and down the bus aisle, and at each stop, making sure everyone had a great time! The group was immersed in the silliness but still had quite a few jump scares! His fellow ghost accomplice (Matt I think) was just as fun to find at our various spots along the way with his own spooky apparences! Tony the Driver kept us safe and rolling along our ghostly journey. A fun evening activity and a different way to see some of the usual popular Dublin sites, after dark!

Had so much fun from start to finish. The actors were hilarious and made the time pass so fast. I went on several spooky style tours and because this was on the bus it took us a little outside of city center so it didnt feel repetitive in the locations or stories. If you want to laugh and hear some great spooky storytelling I highly recommend
Julia_G, Nov 2025
Emma the tour guide had so many jokes! She made it a great experience. A great tour full of history.
Rose_G, Nov 2025
It was delightful! Our tour guide was Sean and he was so funny while being extremely knowledgeable at the same time. Everyone working on our trip was spectacular.
Naomi_C, Oct 2025
From start to finish it was hilarious but also very educational. The actors we're great and never broke character
Juanita_C, Oct 2025
Cheesy but fun, the stories were interesting and told in a funny way. It was a nice way to spend Halloween in Ireland
Janine_S, Oct 2025
A real highlight of our trip to Dublin. Really good fun. Our guide Dan was endlessly entertaining and we laughed all the way around. The bus was decorated inside and all the windows were covered so we had no idea what route we taken on. We even enjoyed the stop at the pub and vodka and cranberry might now be my favourite drink. I would recommend this trip to anyone.
jolie_b, Oct 2025
Great storytelling!!! Would love to hear more stories. Would recommend to others. More stories. More stories.
SusanR, Oct 2025
An entertaining way to pass the time with some grody stories thrown in along the way. Be prepared for some jump-scares along the way but it's all in good fun. Our guide was hilarious and legit, quite the actor.
Note that you won't see anything along the way - there are dark curtains lining the walls - but it's fun nonetheless.

The crew was very entertaining and made the experience a fun one. Would recommend a late time to make it spookier.
