Anne was fabulous and she taught us authentic Irish cooking. We met wonderful people and the food was delicious. We left stuffed and the stories she told us were wonderful.

We had such a great time in this cooking class! The food was delicious and plentiful, and Ann kept the wine flowing. We had a great group and had a fun time getting to know each other while learning to make the yummy Irish staples. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who enjoys Irish food and drinks.

As part of our 25th anniversary tour, we decided to spend a week in Ireland. Last night, we participated in a cooking class and dinner in the home of Ann, a former tour guide turned Irish experience host and chef. Our dinner was a group of 9 - eight ladies, plus my husband. We were a random group of Americans with Midwestern ties enjoying a lovely evening learning to cook a traditional Irish meal in the loveliest environment. We made: soda bread, potato and leek soup, colcannon, Irish stew, and Irish coffee. More than anything, the group had fun, worked well together, and found common ground throughout the evening. Ann was an amazing hostess who welcomed us, early, with open arms, shared her recipes, gave us the best advice on things to do, and truly cared about every aspect of our dinner experience. Our dinner was amazing and the company was exceptional. Thank you, Ann! If you happen to have a night on Dublin, I highly recommend Irish Craic and Cuisine.

Anne was so nice! We were a little late because Viator sent us the wrong address! She was very accommodating and helpful!

It is not easy to find and I had difficulty getting a cab to take me back to my hotel. She was extremely nice and had a lovely kitchen. The food made was very rich so be prepared! And a lot of the experience depends on the nature of the group. Going solo makes that more of a risk so bring your friends if you go!

This is the PERFECT start to ANY vacation!! Taxi ride was about 25 Eur from Our hotel downtown Dublin. Easy to Book and great communication. In our group we were all woman traveling solo but one. Very safe to walk to and from.

It was a great experience. Anne is a lovely person and a wonderful host. The food was delicious. The evening was more like a dinner party with friends that it was a class - though we did learn a lot. It's also an easy bus ride from the city center.

We needed a taxi both ways but it was totally worth it. Our host Ann was knowledgeable and we each helped with a job to create the dinner…which was very yummy! Enjoyed sharing the experience with 3 other couples. Ann provided a cookbook for each of us with recipes for what we cooked. Highly recommend this excursion.

It was a wonderful evening with Ann at her house in Dublin. We were a small group of 8 people from 3 countries and had lots of fun. Luckily Ann did the pre-work already, so we all just had to do the fine-tuning and enjoy the information and explanation of preparing Irish food. Everything was yummy! Especially the preparation of the Irish Coffee with "The president" was grand. Thank you for a wonderful time, Ann!

Our cooking class with Ann was phenomenal!! Very personable and terrific cook and teacher! Best meal we’ve had on our holiday. Plenty of wine and fun. Would definitely do again.

Ann was so fabulous, we couldn’t have had a better time. Every dish was phenomenal, the vibe was surprisingly relaxing, my glass never got under half before she refilled it. She was honest the best hostess and so knowledgeable. Her home is so beautiful and cozy and it definitely had to be the most authentic experience we had on our whole trip to Ireland. We’re already planning on making a whole spread from the recipes we received for our next Sunday family meal.
The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because there was a mix up in our time. Our booking said 7:00pm and we showed up at 6:40pm thinking we were early only to find out the class started at 6:00pm, but Ann and the rest of the “students” welcomed us and got us caught up! I would recommend reaching out via the WhatsApp number before going to confirm so that she has your contact info because booking through Viator, she didn’t have any contact information to get a hold of us to check in or she said she would’ve!

This was hands down The most fun we had in Ireland. The host is so warm and welcoming, the food is so delicious, she does all the prep work so you have more time to really enjoy yourself and focus on the recipes. This activity of limited to a group of eight so it’s very comfortable and you have appropriate support on how you’re executing your cooking.

Steam rising like a whisper of comfort, each bite wrapped in the warmth of care. The rich aroma curls around you, familiar and inviting, as if love itself had been slow-simmered into every spoonful. Flavors melt on your tongue, tender and full, the kind of nourishment that lingers not just in the belly but in the soul. Every forkful speaks of hands that have stirred with affection, seasoning not just with spice but with devotion. It’s more than food—it’s an embrace, a promise that you are cherished, one delicious bite at a time.

Hands down my favorite part of my trip!!! Ann welcomes you into her house, and you learn some Irish cooking. We had a small group (5) and it was just a great dinner party experiencing a different culture! Wine glass was never empty, and I went home with soda bread, what else do you need?!

We had a wonderful time. Great group of people. Interactive experience really made the time fly. Gracious hostess. Delicious food. We couldn’t have asked for more.
Danelle_K, Nov 2024
The experience with Ann was filled with great conversation, laughter, and food. Good Craic, as they say. The Food was delightful and surely the best Guinness Stew around. Ann seamlessly fit quick and easy lessons for multiple dishes while still ensuring our group was laid back and mingling. My friend and I showed up as a pair, but felt like we were among friends. Ann kept the wine glasses full and eventually our bellies were too. A truly great experience.
