Perfect day trip from dublin

We had a wonderful day trip to Kilkenny and Glendalough! The tour was well organized, the scenery was beautiful, and we had plenty of time to explore each stop. What really made the experience special was our tour guide, who was fun, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She kept the group engaged with stories, local history, and great recommendations throughout the day. Our bus driver was also excellent—professional, safe, and skilled on the narrow Irish roads, which made the journey comfortable and stress-free. He even parallel parked the beast on one of those narrow roads between two cars and a tree in the mix. Impressive. Highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to see more of Ireland from Dublin in a single day.

Great experience

This was a great experience. Wonderful way to see the cliffs and get a little insight into the Irish history. There is a lot of driving time, but the experience is worth it. Our guide was Julia and she is super knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Joe was our driver and got us to and from safely. I recommend requesting this pair if you can.

Barney Castle tour

Patty wagon tours was awesome and our driver Shay was amazing. We all felt like family at the end of the trip and there was 47 of us on the bus. All the stops were great. The castles were great and especially Barney Castle. Highly recommend this tour if you’re in Dublin for a visit.

Impressive day trip

We thoroughly enjoyed this day tour. Dunluce Castle is located in a spectacular setting overlooking the ocean, and the ruins are a must-see. Giant's Causeway is fascinating for everyone and impressive even for a geologist. Our tour guide provided lots of interesting perspectives on Irish history as we drove through the countryside. We already knew quite a bit about that history, but hearing another perspective is always beneficial. The local guide for our walking tour of Belfast slanted his narrative toward the English/Protestant side of The Troubles, which is reasonable for someone who grew up in Northern Ireland. Overall, the tour was run efficiently and on-time, and the cost was fair. Folks who might be planning to spend several days in Dublin definitely should consider going on this tour. In addition, the cost is quite reasonable considering the distance travelled by coach and the quality of the sites that we visited.

This tour was an excellent experience from start to finish. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative, providing great context throughout the journey and at each stop. I would recommend that travelers research in advance whether they prefer visiting the Titanic Museum or taking the Belfast Black Cab tour, as both options are excellent and offer very different perspectives of the city. Overall, the tour was well organized, enjoyable, and a great way to experience Belfast in a day.

A great experience

The Black Cab tour in Belfast, Dunluce Castle & the coast of Northern Ireland, especially Giants Causeway, was an incredible experience! The beauty of the area was breathtaking. The Black Cab tour was tremendously informative because it filled in the gaps of my knowledge about “The Troubles”. Our guide shared firsthand experiences about this time period & the current state of things now. My husband & I thought this was an excellent opportunity to learn from someone who knows what it was like and how things are still evolving into a more positive way of life. Highly recommend doing this tour!

Don't miss!!!

A do not miss experience! Learned all about the iconic brand of Guinness, it's history & all that goes into the making & marketing of this beer. It was interesting & while I've never had Guinness before, I found it quite good! The views of Dublin from the top floor were beautiful. My husband bought a t-shirt which he's wearing the next day! Lots of fun!

Wonderful experience.

Fergus was our tour guide. He was soooo informative and very personable. He gave a recommendation of a great fish and chips place afterwards. (Rosies) and then while we were there eating he and the rest of the group on their way to Guiness stopped in Rosie’s to make sure we made it there ok!! If you take this tour I hope you get him as your guide.

Great tours- Lot's of Walking

Knoll was a great tour guide. Initially, there was some confusion when two groups were combined due to an organizational mix-up, which made it a bit challenging for both guides to sort things out and separate everyone properly. Once that was resolved, everything ran smoothly. Knoll was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor at times, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The Jameson Tour was actually better than expected—a well-presented experience with an excellent tasting of Irish whiskey. The Guinness Tour was very informative, but extremely crowded. It felt a bit rushed, likely because we were there later in the day. Overall, the day went very well—just be prepared for a lot of walking.

History buff’s joy

The book of kells is small but mighty! On this tour you will learn about the book of kells and see the actual book of kells. The history is more impressive than the book itself. Just one page is on display but it still takes your breath away. Lots of walking to castle with crowded streets. We were blessed with a sunny day bringing everyone outside. Tough to keep the group together. Our guide worked masterfully to do this but it took time. The tour lost momentum because of this. Castle garden was lovely and again the history lessons were interesting. Kate was a gracious and informative host. She brought a gentle playful energy to the stories and her passion for the history were contagious.
