Visit the west of Ireland

This is a wonderful and relaxing trip…. it’s a ride to the other side of the country so you have an opportunity to sit back and enjoy some music and a bit of learning about Ireland. Then you have plenty of time to walk around the Cliffs before you drive on through the Burren. Then off to Galway City. Two hours is not quite long enough but then neither is two days. What a lovely city; it’ll invite you to return another time. The tour guide was excellent with everything from accommodating a passenger needs to making recommendations about restaurants, rest rooms, things to do- everything practical you need to know before you hop off the bus. If you’ve gotten all the way to Dublin, don’t miss this chance to take a visit to the west as well.

Amazing day trip from...

Amazing day trip from Dublin! Una, our guide, was sweet, knowledgeable, and full of fun stories—and even hosted a trivia game on the way home. Krishna, our driver, was smooth, safe, and friendly, making the journey relaxing and enjoyable. The Black Cab tour in Belfast was a standout—seeing Unionist and Nationalist neighborhoods while learning about the city’s history and politics gave us a real sense of Belfast beyond the usual sights. Dunluce Castle was charming, but the Giant’s Causeway was unforgettable. The rock formations are incredible, and we had plenty of time to explore and take photos. Well-organized, fun, and educational, this tour was a perfect mix of history, scenery, and local culture. Huge thanks to Una and Krishna for making it such a memorable day—I’d highly recommend it!

Beautiful trips!

My daughter and I went on this tour using Finn McCools Tours! It is our first time visiting Ireland and our tour guide Quiggs was so very educational and so very informative. He was very humerous and had a lot of fun facts about the history of Ireland. He was a true Irish man that could speak the Irish language. His media of showing us pictures of what he was talking about was so very helpful, and pretty insightful. The different types of Irish music was also very relaxing to hear during our bus ride. Quiggs was pretty cool to play such different sounds and styles of the Irish music. Our driver Jose drove us safely to all of our stops on the trip. He was a great driver. I really enjoyed every stop we got to see. The cliffs of Moher was a bit windy, but overall the views were spectacular. You will not be disappointed taking this tour. I recommend Quiggs as your tour guide and definitely a plus if you get the driver Jose. They make a great team, and I do love that our group of people were all on time to the bus to make it to all of our next destinations. Beautiful country side and beautiful scenery. Will definitely take more tours with this tour group!

We had a great day trip to Cork and the Blarney Castle! Our driver Gerry got us there safely, and shared some fun facts and history lessons through the day. We had enough time to explore the castle, climb to the top, and also walk through the beautiful gardens around it. Would recommend!

Day trip from Dublin

Stayed in Dublin but wanted to see the countryside and ocean. This made for an easy day to do a bit of both. Beautiful 2-hour ride (coach was comfortable and has huge windows for viewing) to Belfast for a quick breakfast and on to Dunluce castle which was incredible. Then Giant's Causeway-- if you're not much of a hiker, walk the long road down to the shore and take the bus back up for lunch at the hotel. Belfast walking tour was ok. The guide was sweet but talked mostly about politics and the past violence in the area. Maybe thats just Belfast but it was more him talking than seeing. It's a 1-hour walk around a couple blocks with long pauses. Maybe use that two hours to explore on your own. Our driver and guide Krishna and Rory were warm and friendly. They had the day perfectly timed out and made everyone feel welcome. Rory is knowledgeable and funny, and you'll have a much better understanding of Irish history and culture and politics after this tour. Excellent day 10/10. Only would have liked more time at Dunluce Castle. Thirty minutes felt a bit rushed; 45 might have been perfect.

Food fun and discovery !

Francesca led a really enjoyable tour of Dublin where we stopped for native edibles along the way. We were schooled in making Irish coffee, ate sausage pastries, sampled cheeses, a couple of yummy baked goods, sampled oysters, ate Irish stew and fish chowder for lunch and then landed in an ice cream shop to sample potato ice cream and indulge in a cup of our choice. Lots of history and anecdotes along the way. A beautiful day and quite an adventure !

Awesome time in Northern Ireland

This was our best tour in Ireland BY FAR! Our tour guide David, and our bus driver John Paul were absolutely amazing! Everything was on time, and organized. David taught us so much about history, fun facts, and he has a talent for music that contributed to making the long drive really fun and engaging. This is the tour I recommend the most, especially if you like history and scenic views (better than Cliffs of Moher in my opinion). Can't wait to be back and book again with Wild Rover Tours.

Great combo tour!

Loved being able to do Jamesons and Guiness together with a short walk in between. I could have stayed at Jamesons forever. Glad i did Guiness but it was way tio big and way too crowded. Jameson’s was much more comfortable and just the right size. Make sire you get a picture of the huge chandelier made out of Jameson bottles.

Well worth a visit

Bought this as a Christmas present for my husband. Today we visited the Guinness Storehouse and what an experience. We both thoroughly enjoyed the visit from start to finish. I have never been a great lover of Guinness but I can honestly say after going to the tasting room and being taught how to exactly drink Guinness rather than sipping it I actually quite enjoyed it. My husband said he had a brilliant time and the history through the years is astonishing as to what goes on to make this the world’s most iconic pint. The gift shop is well worth a visit too
