Since we booked this such last minute we were unsure of what to expect. I can tell you we had the most wonderful day. The tour operator was fantastic, kind, friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The cliffs were just breathtaking. We did stop at this castle on the way with a pub and some shops but we didn’t get to stay long. We would have liked more time there. Otherwise I totally recommend. You will not be disappointed.

Very good tour but customers should be informed of the policy the tour company has for dropping customers off from a tour. In my case Paddy Wagon tours will drop people off at the end of the tour somewhere near where they were picked up and to ask their bus driver for the exact address where they will be dropped off so that the customer can convey that information if someone is picking them up. Instead of Viator states people will be dropped off at the same location they were picked up.

We had a great time. Better to board at the first pick up, so your group is sure to be sitting together. Dominic was our tour guide. So. Much. FUN!! Knowledgeable, full of stories, even sang a few songs!! Galway was wonderful for shopping, only wish we had more time there. Cliffs were amazing.

Even though we thought about it due to the duration, the day went by so fast. Keith is wonderful! Great tour guide, he was funny, knowledgeable and very friendly!

Our trip to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway with Paddywagon Tours was fantastic! We rode in the famous pink bus, which was easy to spot and added to the fun. The tour was well organized, fast-paced, and stayed perfectly on schedule—from a 7:45 a.m. departure to returning around 9 p.m. There were plenty of stops to eat, shop, and enjoy the scenery. Our driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating stories and history throughout the journey. I won't spoil it, but his commentary made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this tour!

Whatever you do, don’t use this company, Paddy wagon. They are so unreliable and reckless. Canceled my original trip and offered me another option. I agreed to the switch and went on the tour .. we made it to our 1st stop and was told to arrive back at the bus at a certain time. I arrived no later than 10 mins past the time and the driver left me with no call from him or the company! I was left in the middle of a small town that had limited transportation service back to Dublin. When I called , they told me I needed to figure it out . As a solo traveler, this has never happened to me and this was such a frightening moment . Managed to make it to the next town 1.5 hr away to take a 3 hour bus ride back into Dublin. Highly advise to never use this company!

Michael was an excellent tour guide and driver. He gave us an informative and interesting discussion on Galway, Cliffs of Moher, and Irish history. This was a long tour but we never felt rushed.

We showed up at the determined pickup point early to ensure we did not miss the tour. 15 minutes after the designated pickup time we called the tour operator. Turns out they had canceled the tour the day before. They said communications were sent out, but I found nothing in any of my email folders or text messages. Days later I saw a WhatsApp notification. Viator refunded the cost, but it was stressful that morning trying to find another way to get out to Western Ireland. Never got to see the Cliffs.

Super upsetting! Arrived at pick up location and no one showed to pick us up. Ten minutes later,I called tour company to see where driver was. The lady claimed it had been canceled a few days prior. There was no notification of cancelation. Booked with viator and had received from viator reminder of tour the morning of.

It was absolutely amazing, Leo was the best guide! Being able to stop and see things along the way and learning about Irish history really made the entire trip.

Went to a meeting spot to the Cliffs Moher to find out it had been canceled. Only way this was communicated was via a chat with in the email which I would never have seen since it was to contact the tour guide.

The Cliffs were breath taking taking and the day was perfect. Galway was a nice way to stretch our legs with lots to see , especially the Latin Market. The Atlantic coastline was scenic from Dublin to the Cliffs and Galway. Our tour driver was excellent.

Paddywagon Tours cancelled part of this tour 3 days in advance and offered us an alternate. We chose an alternate plan but never received tickets to our new choice. We emailed asking about the tickets and never received a reply. We never went on the tour, we were charged for the tour and we received an email asking how much we enjoyed the tour that we didn't attend because they had cancelled part of it.

The sites were amazing and the weather could not have been better. Driving was good it was more the folks in the bus that made the trip less than perfect. Folks always showing up late when we have quick stops and the bus was absolutely jammed packed which was not great. Still a good experience just not optimal.
Gina_A, Oct 2025
This tour was very very long. You stop at a place to eat that is horrible. I think it might be ran by the tour company. Otherwise tour was average.
Kristin_W, Aug 2025
Chaotic start with the bus late. Trip was way too long (12.5 hours) given that the ride is 3 hours each way to The Cliffs. Way too many superfluous/unneeded stops. Also, bus driver told people they couldn’t move seats after we departed, which is ridiculous as there weren’t assigned seats.
Melissa_K, Aug 2025
This is hilarious that you’re asking for a review. It was cancelled with no notice and i was still charged. Trying to get a refund still.
Nipam_P, May 2025
They did not pick us at the location they gave we went extra early and was at the correct location very unhappy
Natalie_P, May 2025
Great experience seeing such a world renowned destination. It’s a long day so pack snacks and drinks for the bus ride and bring a cell charger, good shoes and layer up for wind , rain or fog at the top by the cliffs. Regardless of the weather, it’s breathtaking. Our driver Liam was terrific and a superb driver in the foggy weather navigating with other large buses around us.
Allison_H, May 2025
Shay was the best driver there could have been! He was very attentive to everyone and seemed he really cared! He gave us a very in depth tour. The only thing is this was a very long day. With there being traffic it was around a 14 hour day!
Maria_P, May 2025
The tour should have started earlier to address heavy traffic in Galway. Suggest that they depart at 7 instead of 8 as we did not return until 9:40.
Tour guide was not very descriptive of each location that we stopped and could have provided more information about each destination. Cliffs of Moher excellent stop, but would perhaps suggest another company for this trip. Would not return to Paddywagon.

The cliff were amazing! Such a great time. My only thing is how much time you spend on the bus, we spend 70% on the bus it is a long tour (which I know it does say 12-13 hours) but not very many stops (other than bathroom break). I would love if we had more time in the cliff rather than Galway but thats fine. So definitely prepared yourself for a long day!!
Our bus driver/tour guide was Liam, very nice guy.

What an amazing tour. Galway is a charming town with lots to see and shop. The cliff of Moher was breathtakingly beautiful. Stunning views and great walk. Our tour guide Aaron was knowledgeable, funny and personable. I highly recommend this tour.
Charlotte_W, May 2025
Great opportunity to see Galway, the Irish countryside, and the Cliffs of Moher! Gerry was very knowledgeable and navigated the windy roads like a pro.
nancy_h, May 2025
Great vehicle and locations.
The time allotment did not make sense. We had 40 minutes to buy food and eat. We spent quite a bit and had to walk away from our half eaten plates in order to make the bus time.
The bus driver could be quite rude at times . he demanded everyone be quiet before he continue talking and would even say things like do you want me to share information or not.
I highly recommend having a driver and a tour guide with these prices.

Extremely disappointing...first, our trip was changed so that we only spent 1 hr and 15 minutes at Cliffs of Mother (original itinerary was 2 hrs). Galway was originally 2hrs, reduced to 1 hr and 30 minutes.
Besides these schedule changes, another disappointing aspect of our trip was our driver. Although pleasant, we felt he had never conducted a tour in his life. No commentary WHATSOEVER!!! Passing through Burren National Park...nothing said! Passing by Bunratty Castle...did not even point it out! In Galway, no mention of the Spanish Arch, which i learned about after the fact. And, when I asked what direction I should go for the popular Eyre Square, the driver told me the opposite direction.
Our group believed he was a last minute replacement. Honestly, it felt like a glorified taxi ride! Would love an explanation...used Viator in the past and was always very satisfied but now...???

Too many unecessarys stops! The driver was driving fast, in a very narrow road. Nobody, warned us, about the extreme weather, for us to bring good rain coats, water proof boots and pants and pants!!! We May catch a cold. The lunch Restaurant, expensive and bad!
We got completly Soaked.
Too many hours for just one hour and a half in the cliffs.
We hade it.

Edwardo was very kind and pleasant. He truly enjoys his job. He loves to talk about everything along the way. He took you to the best spots on the tour.

it was amazing! so much fun. eduardo was our driver and he was the best, so funny and personable. i slept the whole bus ride so that didn’t bother me. the sights were worth every penny. must do!
Karen_L, Mar 2025
Overall fantastic experience! Driver/tour guide Dominic was very good. Singing and storytelling was appreciated. Unfortunately we went to Galway first and on Sunday stores don’t open until noon. The town itself, however, is cute. There is a lunch stop; we brought our own sandwiches and there were tables for eating. Be warned of a very curvy drive between Galway and the Cliffs. We had plenty of time at the Cliffs to walk to both sides, use restrooms, etc. Overall a very fun day!
