The Cliffs were breath taking taking and the day was perfect. Galway was a nice way to stretch our legs with lots to see , especially the Latin Market. The Atlantic coastline was scenic from Dublin to the Cliffs and Galway. Our tour driver was excellent.

Great experience seeing such a world renowned destination. It’s a long day so pack snacks and drinks for the bus ride and bring a cell charger, good shoes and layer up for wind , rain or fog at the top by the cliffs. Regardless of the weather, it’s breathtaking. Our driver Liam was terrific and a superb driver in the foggy weather navigating with other large buses around us.

Since we booked this such last minute we were unsure of what to expect. I can tell you we had the most wonderful day. The tour operator was fantastic, kind, friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The cliffs were just breathtaking. We did stop at this castle on the way with a pub and some shops but we didn’t get to stay long. We would have liked more time there. Otherwise I totally recommend. You will not be disappointed.

It was absolutely amazing, Leo was the best guide! Being able to stop and see things along the way and learning about Irish history really made the entire trip.

Canceled with no notification

Michelle_C, Jan 2026
Went to a meeting spot to the Cliffs Moher to find out it had been canceled. Only way this was communicated was via a chat with in the email which I would never have seen since it was to contact the tour guide.

They cancelled tour and did not reimburse

Kimberly_C, Jan 2026
Paddywagon Tours cancelled part of this tour 3 days in advance and offered us an alternate. We chose an alternate plan but never received tickets to our new choice. We emailed asking about the tickets and never received a reply. We never went on the tour, we were charged for the tour and we received an email asking how much we enjoyed the tour that we didn't attend because they had cancelled part of it.

Good views but packed bus

Eric_R, Nov 2025
The sites were amazing and the weather could not have been better. Driving was good it was more the folks in the bus that made the trip less than perfect. Folks always showing up late when we have quick stops and the bus was absolutely jammed packed which was not great. Still a good experience just not optimal.

This tour was very very...

Gina_A, Oct 2025
This tour was very very long. You stop at a place to eat that is horrible. I think it might be ran by the tour company. Otherwise tour was average.

Not worth the time.

Kristin_W, Aug 2025
Chaotic start with the bus late. Trip was way too long (12.5 hours) given that the ride is 3 hours each way to The Cliffs. Way too many superfluous/unneeded stops. Also, bus driver told people they couldn’t move seats after we departed, which is ridiculous as there weren’t assigned seats.

Cancelled the tour didn’t tell me & still charged me and then had the gall to ask me to review it

Melissa_K, Aug 2025
This is hilarious that you’re asking for a review. It was cancelled with no notice and i was still charged. Trying to get a refund still.

They did not pick us at...

Nipam_P, May 2025
They did not pick us at the location they gave we went extra early and was at the correct location very unhappy

Cliffs of Moher, a must see!”

Shay was the best driver...

Allison_H, May 2025
Shay was the best driver there could have been! He was very attentive to everyone and seemed he really cared! He gave us a very in depth tour. The only thing is this was a very long day. With there being traffic it was around a 14 hour day!

Needs Improvemenr

Maria_P, May 2025
The tour should have started earlier to address heavy traffic in Galway. Suggest that they depart at 7 instead of 8 as we did not return until 9:40. Tour guide was not very descriptive of each location that we stopped and could have provided more information about each destination. Cliffs of Moher excellent stop, but would perhaps suggest another company for this trip. Would not return to Paddywagon.

The cliff were amazing!...

Amara_J, May 2025
The cliff were amazing! Such a great time. My only thing is how much time you spend on the bus, we spend 70% on the bus it is a long tour (which I know it does say 12-13 hours) but not very many stops (other than bathroom break). I would love if we had more time in the cliff rather than Galway but thats fine. So definitely prepared yourself for a long day!! Our bus driver/tour guide was Liam, very nice guy.

Amazing time!

Cynthia_J, May 2025
What an amazing tour. Galway is a charming town with lots to see and shop. The cliff of Moher was breathtakingly beautiful. Stunning views and great walk. Our tour guide Aaron was knowledgeable, funny and personable. I highly recommend this tour.

Great opportunity to see...

Charlotte_W, May 2025
Great opportunity to see Galway, the Irish countryside, and the Cliffs of Moher! Gerry was very knowledgeable and navigated the windy roads like a pro.

Great locations

nancy_h, May 2025
Great vehicle and locations. The time allotment did not make sense. We had 40 minutes to buy food and eat. We spent quite a bit and had to walk away from our half eaten plates in order to make the bus time. The bus driver could be quite rude at times . he demanded everyone be quiet before he continue talking and would even say things like do you want me to share information or not. I highly recommend having a driver and a tour guide with these prices.

Tour or Oversized Taxi

Diana_S, May 2025
Extremely disappointing...first, our trip was changed so that we only spent 1 hr and 15 minutes at Cliffs of Mother (original itinerary was 2 hrs). Galway was originally 2hrs, reduced to 1 hr and 30 minutes. Besides these schedule changes, another disappointing aspect of our trip was our driver. Although pleasant, we felt he had never conducted a tour in his life. No commentary WHATSOEVER!!! Passing through Burren National Park...nothing said! Passing by Bunratty Castle...did not even point it out! In Galway, no mention of the Spanish Arch, which i learned about after the fact. And, when I asked what direction I should go for the popular Eyre Square, the driver told me the opposite direction. Our group believed he was a last minute replacement. Honestly, it felt like a glorified taxi ride! Would love an explanation...used Viator in the past and was always very satisfied but now...???

Terrible many hours

Regina_O, Apr 2025
Too many unecessarys stops! The driver was driving fast, in a very narrow road. Nobody, warned us, about the extreme weather, for us to bring good rain coats, water proof boots and pants and pants!!! We May catch a cold. The lunch Restaurant, expensive and bad! We got completly Soaked. Too many hours for just one hour and a half in the cliffs. We hade it.

Excellent

Lisa_Z, Apr 2025
Edwardo was very kind and pleasant. He truly enjoys his job. He loves to talk about everything along the way. He took you to the best spots on the tour.

it was amazing! so much...

Ellie_M, Mar 2025
it was amazing! so much fun. eduardo was our driver and he was the best, so funny and personable. i slept the whole bus ride so that didn’t bother me. the sights were worth every penny. must do!

Singing Tour Guide

Karen_L, Mar 2025
Overall fantastic experience! Driver/tour guide Dominic was very good. Singing and storytelling was appreciated. Unfortunately we went to Galway first and on Sunday stores don’t open until noon. The town itself, however, is cute. There is a lunch stop; we brought our own sandwiches and there were tables for eating. Be warned of a very curvy drive between Galway and the Cliffs. We had plenty of time at the Cliffs to walk to both sides, use restrooms, etc. Overall a very fun day!

Solo traveler recommended

kelsie_J, Mar 2025
Our driver Dominic was amazing! He was so fun and an encyclopedia of knowledge. This was a great trip as a solo traveler and an opportunity to meet people while still exploring alone

Fun day trip out of Dublin

Cheril_L, Feb 2025
Our driver and guide, Shay was excellent. He checked in with us often to be sure we were all okay. He let us know where we were headed all along the way and made sure we had appropriate restroom breaks. He had a lot of good knowledge to share and was quite warm and personable. Loved seeing the Cliffs of Moher, despite the cold and windy weather and had a very good pastry and chai at a local cafe in Galway. And we also bought some beautiful sweaters from a wonderful shop there as well. Would highly recommend this tour operated through Paddywagon. We will use them again.

It’s a long day but...

Deborah_S, Dec 2024
It’s a long day but really beautiful landscape. The Cliffs are amazing. Galway is a quaint town; very festive at the holidays.

This was our second time...

Hannah_H, Dec 2024
This was our second time taking a tour to Galway and the cliffs. We absolutely loved it!! Our tour guide Alex was amazing! Very friendly and shared some interesting Irish history during the drive and also learned a little bit about the Irish language. Overall, awesome experience!

Wonderful trip!

Theresa_L, Dec 2024
That it takes a while to travel there, but its well worth it. Our guide JJ was so fun. The cliffs are beautiful. Galway was very nice but pretty much just all shopping.

Memorable experience

Thomas_N, Nov 2024
Trip was fantastic. Driver was punctual with time which is important or the group falls astray. Galway was a cute shore town and the cliffs were a sight to see once the fog lifted. Our driver gave great recommendations on food and drink for the area in Dublin.

Beautiful day trip

Beth_F, Oct 2024
Long, but pleasant bus ride and well worth it! We were very fortunate to have good weather for gorgeous views. Alex was an excellent guide. I would have preferred a little less time in Galway for more time at the cliffs

Great Trip

Gretchen_S, Oct 2024
Our guide/driver, Alex was great! He gave an entertaining and informative tour. Departure times and locations were clearly communicated and he kept us on track. Galway was a great city to explore and the Cliffs were breathtaking!
