We had Lee who was a very engaging and knowledgeable guide. There was a lot of historical and folklore elements as well as Ghost stories. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, including our children aged 12 and 15. Would definitely recommend this as an activity for those with older children.

Haunted walk

Kathleen_P, Apr 2026
As an older person it was a pretty brisk walk. Ciaran was entertaining and interesting but this tour was not really my cup of tea.

Extremely informative. The stories were fascinating and told with passion. Deidre was absolutely brilliant. Not only was her knowledge of a high standard, Deidre kept everybody's attention with her sense of humour and unique storytelling techniques. Loved this tour.

Justin_A, Apr 2026
Kieran (I probably spelled that wrong, sorry) is extremely knowledgeable about Dublin's history, and shared the darker lesser known side of Ireland's history - with a good sense of humor of course. He's also very personable and was curious about our lives as well. Very interesting, would do again

Interesting and fun

Mary_R, Apr 2026
Ciaran was great, funny and informative. We thought we would see inside buildings, but we still had fun.

My 1st trip to Dublin

Josephine_G, Mar 2026
It was very interesting and tour guide Ciaran was very knowledgeable. My only regret and this is on me, I had surgery that still restricts me a bit and I was not able to complete tour. But my sister completed it and was very happy.

Great Tween and up Family Activity

Jason_M, Mar 2026
Ciaran was so knowledgeable and funny! Made us all want to learn more about Irish folklore. It was a great walkthrough Dublin.

Ross is the one to get!

Kristen_W, Mar 2026
Ross was really good! He was engaging and a solid story teller. We would like to recommend him to others if he can be requested!!!

Superb storytelling

Catherine_F, Mar 2026
I’ve been to a lot of hokey “ghost tours” — this was different. Ciarán told us the stories from the darker side of Dublin’s past — told them with consummate skill, with lots of juicy detail and no attempt to convince us or spook us with Hollywood theatrics. Honestly, the tales were dark enough they needed no embellishment, and some of the historical figures he talked about became more vivid and more real with his storytelling. I also loved walking around Dublin at night, seeing the changes from the daytime city. FYI: wear good shoes! Bring a jacket and an umbrella. Watch the roadways — there were some uneven surfaces (slick when wet, too). The tours meet directly in front of The Old Storehouse pub in Temple Bar (I was never able to find the address). Your guide will have a green umbrella.

Alejandra_O, Mar 2026
Ross was amazing. He was an amazing storyteller while weaving the history of the different locations in. He was funny and respectful where he needed to be and always kept the tour interesting.

Great tour guide. Very informative!

David_S, Mar 2026
Loved our guide, Deidre. She’s so bubbly, and you can tell she really enjoys giving these tours. I’d say it’s a history tour with a haunted theme - very informative and fun

Very informative and well done tour

Heather_T, Mar 2026
We had a really great night and our guide was very funny and very knowledgeable. I laughed out loud multiple times. 10/10 to him. On the way to our tour, the guide had some out of his control traffic disruptions that delayed the start a bit and then on top of that, one of the guests took a most of the tour phone call that was quite distracting. This guide did an amazing job of keeping the humor and the focus so very well done there. The tour is long - trimming it back a touch would still capture a really fun glimpse into ghost stories.
