Good communication to confirm pick-up time the day before. The guides are responsible and helpful who shared with us about the volcanos and looked after us in general. Timing was alright, not too long or short in each experience. Though the hike (despite not belong a long hike) to the volcano viewpoint was upwards with stairs which may be a little challenging for some.

This is a must do if you have someone who wants to see frogs, spiders, scorpions and snakes! We were a little nervous going in, but had so much fun! Always felt 100% safe and the guide was so knowledgeable. Just amazing to see the jungle alive at night. I left my 5 year old at the hotel and that was the right move. Many times you turn off your flashlights to look for scorpions with a black light and smaller kids could get easily creeped out. My 9 year old daughter was in heaven! You also get the most beautiful photos at the end included. Totally worth it!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this transport service. After trying unsuccessfully to book two different companies through my resort, I finally went to Viator and booked transport from LIR to my resort and back to the airport. Jose our return trip driver was fantastic. He spoke excellent English and gave us a tour of the landscape we passed by. He also let me practice my Spanish by conversing with him. His vehicle was comfortable, clean, and air conditioned. His excellent driving skills met the challenges encountered on Costa Rican roads and we felt safe during the trip. Viator sent reminders about pick up time and Jose was there early to help us with our luggage. A+ service.

The trip from Juan Santa Maria airport to La Fortuna was good. We were picked up on time and drop off on time to our hotel in La Fortuna. Halfway of the trip the van stop for us to go to the bathroom and to get a snack at a souvenir store located at a paramo area with a nice sightseeing. The van had air conditioning and the driver was very professional. I will recommend this service.

From before we even arrived, I knew we were in great hands. Stephanie was an excellent communicator and immediately put me at ease. Due to weather our flight was cancelled, rescheduled and changed at least 4 times. I reached out and Stephanie immediately assured me me that she had our arrival ready to change whenever arrived. That took so much stress off of us. Arrival day was chaotic, as international arrivals often are, but we knew exactly what to expect. Our driver would be waiting with a sign with my name, and Stephanie even checked in to make sure we connected without any issues. Fernando, our driver, was outstanding. He speaks English very well and has a warm, natural conversational style that made the ride easy and enjoyable. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the region and answered all of our questions about agriculture, local industries, and how the economy works. The conversation was genuinely educational and helped us understand Costa Rica beyond just the tourist view. I speak very rudimentary Spanish, and Fernando went out of his way to help me with pronunciation and basic words. He also pointed out practical things along the drive, like supermarkets, quick marts, and local equivalents to stores like Walmart and Home Depot, which was incredibly helpful for first time visitors. What impressed me most was how engaged and intuitive he was. Knowing this was our first visit, he quickly picked up on what we were curious about and tailored the conversation around that. The drive was about an hour and a half, but it went by quickly because the experience was so engaging. This was more than just transportation. It felt like a welcoming introduction to the country, and it set the tone for our entire trip. I would absolutely recommend this service and especially Fernando to anyone visiting Costa Rica for the first time. We booked them for roundtrip and they are worth every penny (or colón). upon arrival at LIR we found out Viator drivers waited outside the baggage claim door. One gentleman greeted us and arranged for an earlier pickup as we got through Immigration quickly. He showed us to the car when it arrived and introduced us to our driver Jeffrey. Jeffrey told us we could take a short cut over the mountain and shave a half hour off our trip so we accepted. Taking backroads over the mountains on narrow roads with an occasional flood out gave us a feel for the jungle in Costa Rica and a glimpse into local life as we traveled through small rural villages. Jeffrey could communicate in English but gave me an opportunity to practice my Spanish. We learned about his background and family, facts about Costa Rica, thoroughly enjoyed his company as well as his expert driving skills. We enjoyed getting a feel for rural life in Costa Rica en route to our beach resort. It was a wonderful experience. Jeffrey was A++

We booked transport from the airport to our accommodations, the driver was there waiting for us, he was very friendly, spoke very good English, and made to stops along the way on our request!! As a group of 10, it went very smoothly! I will be booking, transport with Viator for transport back to the airport upon departure! It’s a no brainer!

Our driver Roger was on time and waited patiently while we were in the long passport control line, keeping in touch by text. It was a pleasure practicing my Spanish with him (he's bilingual) and he shared a lot of information on history, the places we were driving through, and the sites to visit - or avoid.
