What are people saying about Costa Rica

Beautiful views and experience.
The tour was great and Rasta was awesome describing the history and finding animals, etc. Very informative. In the beginning they appeared to arrive late, but was more of a misunderstanding that would have been solved by a simple text explaining they needed us to be at road to be picked up since bus was unable to meet us at the lobby, but Rasta came down and got us. Be ready for a lot of walking both up and down steep walkways so wear comfortable shoes. The authentic Costa Rican lunch was great. Overall experience was great.

Informational and tasty
“Dedication to the craft” and “Quality over quantity” were two main concepts I picked up for this tour. You taste A LOT and learn a little but most importantly, you get an inside look at the family business that supports many generations of families. The way the guides and workers talk about their work is admirable and it shows in the quality of the products. My wife isn’t big on coffee and I’m not the everyday-drinker but it was still an enjoyable experience for all varieties of people (opens your eyes to new products you may not have known you liked previously as well).

Amazing experience
The whole trip is amazing.
You get to see great views and different animals as well.
Out driver Ronaldo was very nice and Our guide Katalina is one of the rare guides I've ever met in my life.
She has knowledge for everything and a very nice sense of humor.
10/10 recommended tour.

We chose to do this the...
We chose to do this the day after we landed as it was a long travel day. That was the right move. This was fun, relaxing and a unique experience for my 8 year-old daughter. The views were beautiful, staff very friendly and the different pools were fun. If you’re feeling adventurous, there are 3 slides that are insane! Purchasing tickets online was a way better choice. There was a long line when we arrived and we were able to go right to the front, check-in and then head into the hot springs. We added the dinner option to our visit. Lunch buffet runs from 12-3, dinner runs from 5-8/9 (can’t remember). There is a restaurant toward the entrance if you need a snack and there are swim up bars located through the hot springs for drinks or smoothies.

Thrilling adventure.
12 zip lines. Some were so fast and thrilling. You pass by one waterfall which is kind of behind you, so you had to know where to look and I you could only see it for a few seconds. My husband never saw it. So that was unfortunate. It would have been nice to get a photo of the waterfall. The guides were friendly and helpful. The hike up to the first zipline was pretty difficult. Uphill with steep stairs for about 15-20 minutes. There was a photographer that took pics at the end of a few ziplines. $40 for a video and some “ok” shots.

Fun activity packed day!
This was a very cool experience with a lot to see and do! Our guide made sure we saw a tapir and a capibera(?)! The volcanic steam vents and bubbling mud pits were amazing. The waterfall was very cold, but it felt amazing!! The hot springs and mud bath, with a river rinse off, were also a lot of fun. It was a day packed with activities!
Here are some things you need to know though...
You will be walking 2 miles, partly in the hot sun, up and down steps, and I mean A LOT OF STEPS. People suggested water shoes, so that's what we wore for the waterfall and hot springs. Unfortunately, ours were very thin bottomed water shoes and we had to walk pretty far across rocks. Thick bottomed sandals or water shoes would have been much better.

I was scary but full of fun and excitement. It made me scared for few seconds and when world turned upside down it all felt calm inside. The guys who helped with getting set up were very friendly and understanding. They were great when I asked them to push me it was fun that they pushed me on 3 on count of 3, 2, 1 we were laughing when we saw the video.

Rio Celeste tour did not disappoint
Lots of impromptu stops to see wildlife on the way there made the trip amazing. Great coffee stop also! The hike was challenging and fun. Beautiful blue falls! Santiago was great and spotted snakes and sloths along the way. Fun day with a small enough group that everyone got to be friendly. Pura Vida

Eugenio was the best guide!!!
Eugene was the most amazing guide and we could not have asked for a better person. He met us at the hotel at 7:30am and even stopped at a local grocery store to get a refreshment. Not only did he take us to the excursions, but he helped make the process so smooth. The kids enjoyed having him on horseback and he always had a towel ready. Could not recommend him enough!!!!

So much fun!
So much fun! Our guide, Gian Carlo made sure we were safe while having a blast. The Balsa River had enough excitement for our group. I highly recommend this company, entire crew was very professional and it was nice seeing all the guides work together. The included lunch was very good too. The photographer took great pictures, it's an extra cost but well worth it.
