Overview
Get into the canyon at La Victora waterfall in Guanacaste, and finish off the adrenaline activity by relaxing in volcanic hot spring at Rincon de la Vieja Volcano, which is the largest and most active volcano in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. This is a 4.5 hour excursion, where you can rock climp, rappel, and swing on a Tarzan pendulum in the waterfall.

The waterfall rappelling and swing were amazing, and the guides were wonderful—such a fun and memorable experience! We purchased the photo option for the waterfall and it was worth every penny.
The downside was that our tour started 30 minutes late. Afterward, the drive to the Hot Springs took a minimum of 30 minutes instead of the expected 10 minutes, which meant we lost about an hour of time there. Unfortunately, half of the Springs had already closed by the time we arrived, and the visit felt rushed.
We also expected the Hot Springs and mud bath to be two separate experiences, but the “mud bath” was just a small bowl of mud provided on-site, which was a bit disappointing. The website could do a much better job explaining this.
Overall, the activities themselves were fantastic, but the delays and lack of clear information took away from the value of the experience.
