1000/10 recommend. this was amazing. we were picked up on time, the destination was BEAUTIFUL, our guide was so sweet & informative & took the most beautiful pictures ever. i have horse riding experience so he gave me the “faster horse” & even then both horses were very calm, friendly, & cooperative. immaculate views, especially if you go around sunset. there is no time selection when you book but they basically let you reach out to them on whatsapp & pick whatever time you want. it was so romantic & soothing & fun to do this by the beach.

One-of-a-kind, amazing Colombian experience

BEST experience I've had in Colombia. When else do you get to feed macaws and parrots, visit aviaries, ride horses, eat home-cooked foods, pick and eat your own Colombian fruits (cashew fruit was a personal fav), and ride in a UTV to explore a 1200+acre property. I really appreciated them picking me up and dropping me off at my downtown hotel too.

What a wonderful day spent at this lovely Finca, high in the mountains. Juan is an excellent host and I enjoyed hearing all about his family and how special this wonderful Finca is. The breakfast is Deliciously prepared using the eggs we collected. We got to milk a cow, feed the calves and chickens and ride through the surrounding terrain on my lovely horse Flicker. You really are made to feel at home here and I've had a great experience. I thoroughly recommend this trip for an authentic experience. Thank you Juan and team 🫶

Three amazing hours in the mountains

I booked the tour with Andes Eco Tours (via Viatour), and everything was well organized from the beginning. I was picked up directly from my hotel in Bogotá and driven to La Calera, which made the whole experience very easy and comfortable. When I arrived, the horses were already prepared and ready. We started the ride right away, and the tour lasted about 3 hours with breathtaking viewpoints almost the entire way. There were plenty of opportunities for nice galloping, which made the ride especially fun and exciting. My guide Diego was very friendly and informative, sharing a lot about the area, nature, and local plants throughout the ride, which made the experience even more interesting. I felt safe and comfortable during the trip, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. It was a fantastic way to experience the mountains just outside the city. A big thank you to Diego and the owner Andes for a great experience - highly recommended for anyone visiting Bogotá and wanting a memorable horseback adventure!

Great experience! Jose and Gabriel are awesome guides, at the begining Gabriel helped guiding the horses ( I only rode once as a kid ). You get to ride the horses for very long stretch of the beach; Jose is very knowledgeable of the area and its history and is passionate about giving you the details about the place . You can’t miss this once in a lifetime experience if you travel to Medellin, straight up. I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying several horse tours before, but nothing compared to this. The horses ran free in the rolling hills, truly galloping and making my colleagues and I feel like real life cowboys, ha! Memories for life. And what made the day extra special was our guide, Sara. Efficient and clear communication in advance, endless knowledge about Medellín, and honestly a vibe. Pick up from the front door of our hotel, perfect English, friendly, funny. Money well spent.

This was such a beautiful experience. The horses and trail were beautiful. You pass through farms and there are two vista points the guide takes you to that were beautiful. Magical fantastic experience

What a magical fantastic experience We were welcomed at our hotel by Luis and Maria. They drove us to their lovely ranch and took care of us the whole afternoon. After learning more about the specificities of the local breed of horses, we then went to the beach. And then the magic started. We spent over an hour horseback riding on the beach with the horses in the sunset. It felt safe and wild. My son was having the time of his life and so was I. Louis is a veterinarian, he knows his stuff but most of all he loves his horses like members of his family. He doesn’t over promote because he wants his horses to be healthy and happy. I can only thank them for making this moment with my son even more special..
