Great experience! Jose and Gabriel are awesome guides, at the begining Gabriel helped guiding the horses ( I only rode once as a kid ). You get to ride the horses for very long stretch of the beach; Jose is very knowledgeable of the area and its history and is passionate about giving you the details about the place . Would highly recommend 10/10 👍

I was there first thing in the morning and it was already very hot. The beach does not have any shade during the ride. Jose was a great guide, told me all about the area. My horse was being guided but I was asked if I wanted to ride on my own for the way back. I decided not to because it was Colombia's independence day and the beach was already becoming very crowded and I felt it was better if I didn't as I don't have a lot of riding experience. The horses were in great condition, friendly and a very quiet ride. Perfect for first time riders.

Horseback riding in Cartia Columbia with absolutely amazing thank you Jose, Johnny and Gabriel for such a relaxing yet culturally amazing experience! Jose, thank you for providing information and history about Cartagena. Thank you for fitting my sister in last minute so she could horseback ride when she got off of her flight. That was great. Great tour guide Jose and horse handler Gabriel made our riding experience extra special by giving us the history of Barranquilla. The horses are in good shape and very friendly, okay for beginners up to intermediate. It was lovely and Definitely worth the time!

It was a nice ride down the beach on the horse. The guide walked in front of the horses while we rode them. Stopped at the end and took a lot of photos with us on the horses. Wish we were able to guide them ourselves but it was a good experience for someone first time riding a horse. I’ve done it before and I was able to steer & ride the horses the whole time. So that was the only downside but they were very friendly and told us about the area we were in and the culture.

Childhood dream come true

Riding a horse on the beach and through the edge of a lapping sea has been a dream since my childhood. It is extremely hot in Cartagena so I made sure I chose an early morning slot so the horses weren’t out in 30°+ heat (8:30am although 8am would have been even better). A taxi driver picked me up (along with two friends who were not riding but came along to see the area of La Boquilla where the stable is). The horses were ready to go on arrival and looked well cared for. I was the only rider so the stable owner rode with me. Although he spoke no English, and I no Spanish, we communicated with signs and hand gestures. It was a long ride all along the water’s edge with a sea breeze but it was still hot (guessing around 27°). My horse called Berlin was well behaved and responded quickly. I was handed a cold bottle of water, as soon as we got back to the stable, which I shared with a very grateful Berlin. A taxi then drove my fro and I back to our hotel. An amazing and unforgettable experience.

Horse ride on a beach

This tour was booked for me and my friend. We got picked up at the our airbnb/ resort on time by a driver. We arrived about 30 mins later to a beach with lots of local bars and food . We had help getting on the horses by the director because both of us have low to No experiences with horses. We rode the horses down the beach for a hour . Overall everything was pleasant and I would recommend to a friend

Riding on the beach

The host sent a driver to our location and it was a ver easy connection as they stayed in touch with us throughout. It was a very hot day and the horses were to over heat if we ran them. Even though there was a comunication gap the guide saw I knew how to ride and tended to my wife mostly. It was great in a very localized are of the beach. Very friendly host and will go again if the opportunity arises.

This was our first time riding horses and it was a great experience. My wife was a little nervouse at first but the horse was very calm and after a few minutes she relaxed and was all smiles. The guide spoke limited english but was able to effectivly communicate with us. Overall it was a great and relaxing ride on the beach.
