We had a wonderful horseback riding experience that we truly enjoyed. Our guide, Sara, was exceptional from the very beginning and added so much to the overall experience. The horses, Troya and Paloma, were calm, well cared for, and a pleasure to ride. It was a long and rewarding ride, with a stop along the way to enjoy a spectacular view. Although it rained on and off, we were provided with waterproof covers, and it was never uncomfortable. In fact, the cooler weather and lack of strong sun made the ride even more enjoyable. During the ride up, Sara gave us a great overview of Medellín, sharing interesting insights about the city and the surrounding region. Beyond being very professional, she is a warm and genuine person with a truly lovely spirit, which made the experience feel personal and special. I would also like to highlight Andrés from Medellín Day Trips, who was excellent to work with. He checked in with us both before and after the activity to ensure everything met our expectations, demonstrating a high level of care and professionalism. This activity was the perfect way to start our first day in Medellín. It allowed us to get some exercise, connect with nature, and enjoy local horses in a beautiful setting. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.

You can’t miss this once in a lifetime experience if you travel to Medellin, straight up. I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying several horse tours before, but nothing compared to this. The horses ran free in the rolling hills, truly galloping and making my colleagues and I feel like real life cowboys, ha! Memories for life. And what made the day extra special was our guide, Sara. Efficient and clear communication in advance, endless knowledge about Medellín, and honestly a vibe. Pick up from the front door of our hotel, perfect English, friendly, funny. Money well spent.

We were in Colombia for a wedding and planned this as a group activity for 11 of us during our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide than Alejandro - he was very knowledgeable and loved sharing his knowledge and love for Colombia, the culture and the people. He was such a genuine nice person and so was the family who owned the horses. They did a great job matching the horses to our skill level and the views were beautiful. We are glad we booked this tour, it was the highlight of our trip. You can tell the horses are very loved. I highly recommend booking this tour!

I booked this trip for myself and 13 year old son to go on together. Sarah was our tour guide and she was super knowledgeable and friendly. She spoke English and Spanish perfectly and impressed us with her French and Italian! The tour was everything I could’ve wanted. The views were breathtaking and the weather was absolutely perfect! My son was excited that we got to go fast on the horses at times and we had a nice break in the middle. This was my favorite tour on our trip so far! I would highly recommend Sarah and the whole company.

The horses are so sweet and very responsive. The views were beautiful. But there’s a lot of hills up and down which was a lot of fun if you enjoy a little bit more of a challenging ride.

Laura was a very friendly and easygoing tour guide. She picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel via private car. I have advanced horse riding experience and my husband had very minimal experience, and we both felt comfortable and extremely happy with our tour. We were asked our experience level in advance to pair us up accordingly to a horse. I was happy that I would run and my husband was happy that he could safely enjoy a unique tour while gaining a love for horseback riding. This ended up being a private tour with just us, which was lovely (apparently only 2-3 people per tour is typical for ease & safety). We walked, trotted, and loped/cantered, all while enjoying the Columbian countryside!

We had a fantastic experience! Our guide Daniel picked us up and drove us to the countryside. We were met with our other guide Oscar who got us acquainted with our horses. Both guides made sure we were safe and comfortable throughout the trip. The horses were calm and well taken care of. The views and calm of the countryside were lovely. We stopped along our ride for freshly made empanadas and chorizo and refreshments. We rode for a total of about 1.5 hrs. We have 2 small children (6&9) and this was their favorite activity. The kids had never ridden horses before and this was the perfect first experience.

Andres and Diego were excellent hosts. From the moment we booked our trip to the moment we got back to our hotel the communication was always superb. My daughter loved the experience. We have had many horseback tours in the past but this was by far the best. The horses are in perfect shape and you can tell that they are well maintained. Diego was an excellent host and always very attentive to details. I highly recommend it.
