- Should the waiting time for entrance to the Blue Grotto exceed 45 minutes, the crew reserves the right to return to the port. In this case the passenger has the right to reuse the tickets to the Blue Grotto on a future departure. Please note that you must print the voucher, electronic or mobile vouchers are not accepted. Please keep your voucher until the end of the tour as it also functions as a receipt. If the Blue Grotto is closed due to adverse weather conditions, the tour operator is not liable to refund transport costs.

Such a must do activity! A perfect way to see Capri island !
Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the grottos because of high tides but the tour was still enjoyable

Due to severe warning the Blue Groto was closed, we made a request 24 hrs prior for Change of date but they were reluctant and they responded very late for change of date after repeated request .. we did not take the tour and did not get refund as requested

We apologize, but we had already printed the tickets for your tour. Please understand that the Blue Grotto closure was due to sea conditions and is beyond our control. The boat tour was still operating, as the Blue Grotto visit is optional and only possible when weather conditions allow it.
When open, entry to the Blue Grotto requires an extra payment of €20 per person directly at the entrance. Since the tour itself was available, no refund applies in this case.

We were not told that we had to find our own way to the boat tour place which cost us another 170euros which in turn made us miss going to the blue grotto because of time to catch the ferry back to sorrento. We were told that the boat would wait while we did the grotto but did explain the we had to go back to port and wait to catch a boat back to the blue grotto which could take 2 hours so we couldn’t do it. My husband only wanted to do that and to come so close and not because a lack of communication in your behalf made for an aweful time. We are from Idaho. The boat tour itself was fine.

The meeting point and transportation details are clearly stated in the tour description, and guests are responsible for reaching the departure point for the boat tour. We understand that travel logistics can sometimes be confusing, but this information is always provided in advance to avoid misunderstandings.
Regarding the Blue Grotto, unfortunately it was not accessible that day due to sea and weather conditions, something completely beyond our control. As specified in the tour information, when the Grotto is closed, we offer an alternative route by boat around the island instead.

it was a nice comfortable tour. beautiful view of capri and positano. the tour to blue grotto is optional. when we did this boat tour, the entrance to the blue grotto was a 2 1/2 hr line wait. if you want to visit the blue grotto, i recommend starting your tour early.

The cliffs around Capri where beautiful. Almost didn't realize we paced the blue grotto as they didn't get close to the grotto. Said it was to busy.

We especially enjoyed the 9.15am boat tour as not crowded with Capri day trippers. Voucher exchange at Laser office window was smooth and tour boat was only a few steps away.
Boat captain pointed out key points of interest and expertly steered boat close into several cave features to allow clear view of shallow water corals. Sea was calm enough to steer boat through the famous pinnacle rock arch, allowing couples to seal their lifelong commitment with a kiss!
Unfortunately, no chance to get close to Blue Grotto due to 2 hour wait (estimated based on large number of boats already waiting there).

Grotto Azzurro not included in the boat trip. When you are in the vicinity the boat people do their best to discourage you from visiting the grotto (the waiting time is *4 hours* - it was a bit more than 1 hour - the heat will be unsustainable, difficult for children etc etc). The trip finishes where it started and only if you insist you will be later put on a different boat that goes to the Grotto. Grotto is the most touristic thing ever seen, the water has a nice blue shade but you will be in there for 2 min cruising around with many other people at the same time while the sailor serenades you. Just cringe…

This is a nice tour especially for the money. I would give it 5 stars but I feel like when I was in line to show my ticket there were other people buying tickets. That defeats the purpose of buying a ticket in advance. But, the line went quick so it's all good.

We were very pleased with our experience. Tour guide was funny and great, at times microphone was a bit difficult to understand…but we got the gist. Boat was comfortable, easy to find. Not too crowded, could move about comfortably to get a photo. Great way to see the island. Line too long for blue grotto (25 boats filled w people waiting despite that it was only 10:15 or so!!!) we got up close to the green grotto though which was special. Very much enjoyed and would recommend.

Boat tour was amazing which is giving it the 3 stars. The guide on the boat give us a few bits of information whilst going around the island.
So why two stars missing? This doesn’t give priority or avoiding queues. We still had to queue in the heat for 45 minutes to get the tickets. If we could have just went to the departure point with our ticket this would have been much easier. I don’t get why you need to show your ticket to get another ticket??

Unfortunately we didn’t get to see the blue grotto. The “English” speaking guide could be barely understood, let alone heard. Missed everything he said due to poor audio speaker and broken English. Didn’t even stop for 5 mins, just told us the wait time was too long for the Blue Grotto.

Go to the further pier 23, booking is made with a sub operator. You’ll need to pick up tickets at the collection point. Tour is on a bigger boat so can be crowded with lots of people. The blue grotto wasn’t open so be aware when booking you may not get in. There are multiple times available. Do early or later when there aren’t as many people. Do not do this if you get seasick. The seas are chopping and you’ll be smelling fumes

The boat tour was great and tour company workers were really helpful in helping us find the correct dock number.Our tour was scheduled for 12 but they gave us the option of taking earlier tour. Tour guide was a amazing and funny. Only bad part was finding the correct bus to take us back from anacapri. Buses did not want t take us back (claimed they were private even tho it was the same line) and we had to find random bus to take us back to the port.

Do not book online - we paid 4euro more per person than the cost if you book when on the island.
The main reason we wanted to do the tour was for the blue grotto - when we got there we were simply told we couldn't go in as high tide - my daughter was not happy!!! They really should say before you leave as we would not have taken the tour if we had know this.

We enjoyed the boat trip so much! We joined the 10:30 tour in mid May and the group was relatively small, around 30 people. The boat was big enough for everyone to move around comfortably and take great pictures. The guide was very informative, and very helpful when it came to helping all passengers get off and on the small boats to get us to the Blue Grotto. The whole tour took us about 1h 30min, but we were really lucky that there was not a long queue to get into the grotto. It’s really good value for money.
We certainly recommend it to everyone travelling to Capri.

La gita tutto sommato è andata bene. Il capitano è un ragazzo molto simpatico. Non altrettanto il ragazzo nell'ufficio al molo 21. L'unica cosa che non va bene è aspettare quasi 2 ore fermi per entrare alla grotta azzurra. Alcuni turisti che avevano programmato il giro a Capri e pensavano che il tour in barca durasse al massimo 2 ore hanno dovuto riprogrammare il tutto perdendo parte delle visite
