We had a fantastic private tour of the Giza Plateau with Abdo and he proved to be an exceptional guide. His knowledge of Egyptian history and the pyramids was outstanding, and he has a wonderful ability to explain the history in a way that is engaging, easy to follow, and genuinely fascinating. Seeing the pyramids and the Sphinx is incredible on its own, but having Abdo there to provide the history, context, and stories behind what we were seeing made the experience so much more meaningful. Abdo was also incredibly kind, patient, and professional throughout the day. He made sure we never felt rushed, answered all of our questions, and knew exactly how to navigate the Giza Plateau so we could make the most of our time. It felt much more like exploring Giza with a knowledgeable local friend than simply following a tour guide. One of the unexpected highlights came after visiting the pyramids when Abdo took us to a fantastic locals-only lunch spot that we never would have discovered on our own. The food was delicious, authentic, and a wonderful opportunity to experience a little bit of everyday Egyptian life away from the typical tourist restaurants. It was the perfect way to finish the experience. Abdo’s combination of deep knowledge, kindness, professionalism, and genuine enthusiasm for sharing Egypt made our visit to Giza truly memorable. I would recommend him without hesitation to anyone visiting Cairo or Giza. Having Abdo as our guide made an already bucket-list experience even better!

To begin with, it’s not easy to drop a concise message regarding this amazing experience. A tour through the “ Wonders of the Antiquity “ by itself already is a life reward. In short, it was a perfect day, thanks to the Viator team, the dear driver and above all, the highly intelligent, perceptive and multi-talented tour guide, the dear Mr Sam - who told the official history, the unofficial ones, led us to a fabulous traditional lunch, always taking into account every one’s personal interests & limitations ( Vegans & alergic reactions) - Mr Sam guided us thru the Pyramids, the magic Sphynx and the huge & unforgettable Grand Museum. Not only has Mr Sam given us previous & concise information regarding all sights into question but also told far reaching insights towards the most impressive features ( at the museum - especially focussing on Tutankamon’s exhibition . A highly professional guide who deals with Egyptology, Anthropology, natural sciences, current Egyptian culture trends / social affairs and above all, he deals with all these subjects making use of a clear & concise elegant English - certainly a man blessed with the gift of the gab.. but also eager to listen all of us. Last but never the least, he was clever enough to keep us away from dubious passers-by and sellers, his suggestions towards souvenirs have hit the nail on the head. We visit the pyramids of Giza for the 1st time and it was an outstanding experience. We had sharp pickup at our hotel, luxury car ride and our 1:1 tour guide, Mariam, who was extremely knowledgeable, caring and friendly. Our visit was without rush, no one disturb us and had the most memorable time

Exceptional experience! Tour guide, Mahmoud is one of the best I've come across and I do lots of tours. He had such a great energy and excellent storytelling, explaining the history with flare and bringing the stories to life. He connected the dots from place to place as we went from Saqqarah to Dashur to Memphis. He built trust, maintained engagement and personalized the tour as we stopped at shops for souvenirs and gifts. Between Mahmoud & driver Mohammed, I felt like I was hanging out with and learning from my brothers all day. Not a fan of this tour company but their guides are really good. The sites are remarkable and have been for millennia but it takes a great tour guide to make the experience meaningful. Thanks Mahmoud!

He knew all the creative, perfect angles, from fun perspective shots lining up a water bottle to feed the Sphinx, to epic wide-angle group shots of us on our ATVs and riding camels across the dunes. We came home with frame-worthy photos! ​Authentic Local Lunch: He treated us to a delicious, authentic Egyptian lunch that was the perfect break during a full day of sightseeing. ​Mohamed isn't just a guide; he’s an incredible host who ensures your day is seamless, exciting, and unforgettable. Literally the best tour I’ve ever been on, and it’s all because of our guide. First, we were picked up at the front door of our hotel, right on time. A large water was given to each of us and then we were off in a nice air conditioned car. Once we got to our first stop, the Pyramids and the Sphinx, our guide started giving us some history right away on everything and answered any questions we had. From there, and til the end of the day, he was always asking us right at the best moments if we wanted him to take pictures along with making some fun suggestions here and there. He took us to all the best photo spots too to beat the crowds. Then, we wanted to add on a camel ride, so he knew exactly who to take us to for an incredible experience. After that, as another add on, he offered to take us to some places for souvenirs. We needed a few more gifts, so we accepted the offer. The places are more high end that he took us, but if you’re coming all this way, you’d rather have the real stuff. We did end up crossing some items off our list, so it was worth it. After that, we had lunch, that was ready within minutes of arriving to the restaurant, so good timing there. Last stop was the Grand Museum, where we quickly got through and inside. We were kind of tired by now, so we asked for the highlights tour, but we could have stayed for hours had we wanted to and our guide would have gladly stayed with us. The whole time he made sure to give us history and insights on everything we saw. Then the trip ended right back at the front door of our hotel as planned. What made the trip most enjoyable was that as we were traveling with two small children, our guide kept them at any point where he thought it would be better for my wife and I to go off and see things ourselves without us even asking. My son made a new best friend that day! We will always remember this trip and if you do this tour, you have to ask for Hossam. He’s the absolute best!

We managed to see a lot of things in 4 hours on our tour of Old Cairo, the Citadel and the souk. Our guide, Ahmed, explained the historical significance of the places we visited thoroughly and added lots of interesting anecdotes! A great way of learning about Cairo's history!

Ahmed was our guide and he went above and beyond! Every bit of the experience was great and we really loved getting to be inside the city and seeing it from a locals point of view! The meal was great. Ahmed truly helped us in the market with finding good deals and staying safe. We saw and did so much and he was extremely knowledgeable and helpful! I highly suggest anyone traveling to Cairo, to book this tour! It’s a great way to see a lot and get a good feel for the city!! Felucca, mosque, meal, shopping!! So good!!
