To begin with, it’s not easy to drop a concise message regarding this amazing experience. A tour through the “ Wonders of the Antiquity “ by itself already is a life reward. In short, it was a perfect day, thanks to the Viator team, the dear driver and above all, the highly intelligent, perceptive and multi-talented tour guide, the dear Mr Sam - who told the official history, the unofficial ones, led us to a fabulous traditional lunch, always taking into account every one’s personal interests & limitations ( Vegans & alergic reactions) - Mr Sam guided us thru the Pyramids, the magic Sphynx and the huge & unforgettable Grand Museum. Not only has Mr Sam given us previous & concise information regarding all sights into question but also told far reaching insights towards the most impressive features ( at the museum - especially focussing on Tutankamon’s exhibition . A highly professional guide who deals with Egyptology, Anthropology, natural sciences, current Egyptian culture trends / social affairs and above all, he deals with all these subjects making use of a clear & concise elegant English - certainly a man blessed with the gift of the gab.. but also eager to listen all of us. Last but never the least, he was clever enough to keep us away from dubious passers-by and sellers, his suggestions towards souvenirs have hit the nail on the head. I certainly recommend this adventure . Thanks Mr Sam & all the Viator Team for this unique experience.

My guide was Osama. He was on time, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I really enjoyed the experience at the GEM. Osama answered all my questions, shared so much information and knew the history of all the exhibits we visited. The pace was good, with plenty of time for explanations and putting the exhibits into context across the different ages and rulers. I definitely recommend Osama as a guide. Thanks Osama!

Exceptional experience! Tour guide, Mahmoud is one of the best I've come across and I do lots of tours. He had such a great energy and excellent storytelling, explaining the history with flare and bringing the stories to life. He connected the dots from place to place as we went from Saqqarah to Dashur to Memphis. He built trust, maintained engagement and personalized the tour as we stopped at shops for souvenirs and gifts. Between Mahmoud & driver Mohammed, I felt like I was hanging out with and learning from my brothers all day. Not a fan of this tour company but their guides are really good. The sites are remarkable and have been for millennia but it takes a great tour guide to make the experience meaningful. Thanks Mahmoud!

Ahmed best guide This was one of the greatest things I've ever done. Our guide Ahmed was great. He made the experience amazing. He took great care of us with lots of pictures and history plus the boat was beautiful. Great captain too. If you can please ask for Ahmed.

This was a great excursion with our guide Mohammed. He was good at communication and very personable. He had a lot of knowledge about all the areas. Our driver was also excellent with a clean comfortable car. We loved the pyramids and the camel ride. It is incredibly hot inside the pyramid with nothing really to see. Be in hood condition if you go inside!

Abeer was a superb guide who made the day interesting and full of new learning and insights not just about Cairo and the Muslim and Coptic experience, but about so many other things from a long, noble past that weave in and out of each other‘s place and position in history and the current day. It is always fascinating to have a guide who is so positive, knowledgeable, but above all loves her country and its diverse history and contribution to the world. Among many memorable moments., possibly one of the best for sitting in a café in a traditional market, drinking, drinking, mint tea, chatting, and watching the world go by. That is one of the memories that I end of the day with a whole new appreciation for a history and story that I now realize I knew very little about. I also have to say a word of things for the driver who was quiet, courteous, but incredibly brave in traffic at a time seemed out of control. Yet, he seemed to be in total control. This was one of my best tour experiences..

We had an amazing experience with Al wazir which guided us through the beauties of GEM, picking us up and dropping us off directly from the hotel in Giza with a private and very clean car. With his deep knowledge and expertise of Egyptologist, he explained us all the most important pieces and answered all our questions and curiosities. Very appreciated that he didn’t rush us at all and we could explore the museum taking all the time we wanted. Very recommended!

Our guide Bishoy was absolutely amazing (professional, knowledgable, informative, kind) and this tour was a wonderful way to begin our trip to Egypt! We experienced authentic Egyptian essence perfume; learned about making paper and had our names written using ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics; shopped for jewelry and t-shirts; and visited a spice shop. We ended our tour enjoying delicious Koshary, Egypt's national dish. Many thanks to Bishoy and we absolutely recommend this tour to future travelers!
