Top Belize Day Trips

Chris met me at airport. My flight actually arrived 20 minutes early. So he came to airport early. However, taking me extra long to go through the immigration customs. Anyway, Chris patiently waited 40 minutes till I showed up! He also took me to the biggest ferry to ride the water taxi. Very thoughtful!

Honestly one of the best excursions I’ve ever been on. The ranch was so cute and the team working there was so welcoming and helpful. We rented a car for our trip so we drove in and had so much time with the horses. They gave us options of having a calm ride or if we wanted to step it up a little. We ended up galloping with our horses which is rarely offered with other excursions. Our guide made sure we were comfortable and prepared while still giving us the option of just relaxing. He was so well educated and taught us so much throughout the ride. After we went to eat lunch and the food was DELISH!! And the cave rafting was amazing as well. Our guide was so nice and chill. We had a cute little hike to the river in which we were also given so much interesting information about Belize and their rainforest/ animals. Since we drove and didn’t have any time restraints we were able to explore the cave both in the raft and on foot which was amazing. We were able to swim, jump off the rocks, go through little hidden tunnels, and relax on the river. Over all a 100/10 experience and I would recommend for couples, friends, and families!!!

Five starts! This tour was absolutely fantastic and ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Belize. We were staying in San Pedro, and the company made everything incredibly easy. They helped ensure we purchased the correct ferry tickets and provided clear instructions so we could make it to Belize City and meet our guide without any stress. Our guide, Tarek, was outstanding. From the moment he picked us up, he made the day fun, informative, and enjoyable. He was organized, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a great experience. The zip lining was excellent. The staff was professional, safety-focused, and very well organized. We felt completely comfortable the entire time. They explained everything clearly, kept the experience moving smoothly, and even took photos for us so we could enjoy the adventure without worrying about our phones. The cave tubing portion was absolutely fascinating. After a short hike through the jungle, we entered the cave system and floated down the river while learning about the area’s history and geology. It was unlike anything we’ve ever done and easily one of the coolest experiences of our trip. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and helped us appreciate just how unique the cave system is. The day was wrapped up with a delicious lunch before heading back to catch the ferry to San Pedro. While it is a long day, it never felt overwhelming because everything was so well organized. Between the adventure, the scenery, the knowledgeable guides, and Tarek’s excellent hospitality, the entire experience was memorable from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Pedro, Belize. It’s a full day of adventure that’s absolutely worth it!

This was a great tour!!! We had the best tour guide Marvin! He shared so much great information about the Maya ruins, the people and history- really fantastic! Loved the cave tubing!! So much fun and perfect after all of our touring of the ruins! The lunch was delicious! Highly recommend this tour!!!

One of the best tours I have ever been on. The site was amazing and so was our guide. We saw so much wildlife (lots of monkeys) and got to seethe sunset from a beautiful view point. The pacing was great and we leaned a lot about the history of the site. The food/drinks provided before the tour was great, come hungry!

My partner and I had an unforgettable experience on the river and ruins tour with Ian. Ian spotted so much wildlife along the river which really got us excited and he was knowledgeable of the history of the area which made the ruins tour very interesting. There is also an enjoyable museum at the Lamanai site. The lunch was homemade from Ian's mother and it was delicious. The whole process was seamless even though we were traveling via van and boat. There were bathrooms at every location as well. Every person we encountered was kind. The car ride back to the hotel rocked us to sleep so the nap was a nice addition to the trip haha. We loved the experience and definitely recommend it to folks interested in nature, wildlife, and Mayan history.

This was great because we got to do two excursions at once. Through the cruise line it was either cave tubing or Mayan ruins. But this group made sure we got to do both. I was worried about missing the ship at the end of the day, but they were in constant contact with each other making sure we got back to the port on time. Jose called me before to make sure my concerns were addressed. He gave me a hug at the terminal. It felt like we were friends. Jeff was our driver. The potholes were the most adventurous part of the excursion. Jeff knew where they were and we missed every single one of them. What a challenge. Several in my group had to cancel, so I went by myself and Jeff made sure I was comfortable. I made new friends. Thanks Crew. Great time.

Seamless transition from pick up to drop off in Guatemala to head to Tikal. Tikal itself was amazing. Probably the best Mayan ruins I’ve ever seen. It’s incredible how you can climb a bunch of the structures to this day. I loved seeing temples above the trees from the tops of other temples or pyramids.
