This was an amazing day with a mix of laid back vibes on the pontoon boat to cool adventures like climbing up a waterfall. The guides made the day- I’m a 57 year old woman who is not adventurous. The guides never left my side as we we swim, climbed and even got me to swing off a rope into the water. Lunch was delicious and plentiful. I loved this day even more than I thought I would.

Our driver was very polite, funny, and great conversation. Got us from point A to B without any issues with plenty of time to spare. Sometimes they pick you up in a van and sometimes it’s similar to an Uber/Lyft ride, but it’s safe and easy from the point of your arrival at the airport. They are always there waiting for you with a sign and a ride ready to go within minutes. Communication is also excellent and if your flight is delayed they are on top of it. I have used this service a few times now in Belize and it has always been a delightful experience.

We really enjoyed this tour. It is about an 11-hour tour but the guide we had was very good and made the Tikal experience amazing. He had a lot of knowledge and enthusiasm for the area. He was very attentive to the variety of people in our group and abilities. As others have noted, make sure you bring snacks, comfortable shoes, and anything needed for heat and humidity. The lunch on the way home was AMAZING. Just be prepared for an 11 hour day, but you will enjoy it!

Our private tour (two couples) was originally scheduled for Tuesday. Due to circumstances beyond his control, the owner Jose needed to change our tour to Wednesday. It was handled very well, and we were glad to adjust our tour. On Wednesday, Jose picked us up at the ferry dock at 8:30. He started the excursion with a tour of Belize City and some of the history of Belize. We arrived at Altun Ha early enough that we beat the cruise buses and had the historic site pretty much to ourselves. Jose's knowledge of the Mayan site was deep. We had enough time at the site to be very satisfied. As we were leaving, six cruise buses arrived, so the timing was perfect! After leaving Altun Ha, we were taken to a wonderful little restaurant for a lunch of the National Dish of Belize: stewed chicken, coconut rice and beans, and fried plantains. It was fabulous. We were returned to the ferry in plenty time for the 3:00 p.m. ferry. Our entire group agreed that we would definitely do a tour with Jose again.

So happy that I chose this tour. The experience is much more intimate than any other Mayan ruins. Not crowded at all’ at times, we have the place all to ourselves. Out guide Leo was excellent. He is experienced and knowledgeable, made this tour much more worthwhile.

It was over and above what you think it would be. It was all because of Marcos (driver/guide) and Green Acres Farm who really made this special. They were so very kind and showed us a great experience from the moment he picked us up at the terminal to dropping us back at the pier. I would highly recommend this tour because of the personal touch they provided and showing us everything about their native country from the types of trees to the giant spider and a local lunch. Each part of the tour was so beautiful from riding the horses through the woods and seeing the waterfall to tubing in the amazing cave. Again it was because of the personal touch that made this so much fun!!!

We all really enjoyed cave tubing. Wasn't too sure what to expect, but so glad we did it. It's about an hour's drive from the cruise port. The walk through the rainforest and gentle trip through the caves on our tubes with helpful and knowledgeable guides was amazing and unlike anything else we experienced during our cruise. Highly recommended.

Percy was an amazing guide! He took the time to explain the history of Altun Ha and the country of Belize as well. The ruins themselves are impressive and you can feel the history of the site. The Belize sign was just a great photo opportunity! And the Travelers Rum Factory was a good time, plus interesting to see the bottle production through the viewing window. We did pay extra to add ziplining to our tour, but this was amazing. The guides Manuel and Wilfredo (Fred) were fun patient with us 2 scared ladies. Again, Percy was awesome and it was a fantastic tour!
