This experience was well worth it! The tour itself was relaxing and beautiful. We saw three waterfalls, hiked up one of them to 150 feet, and hiked to another. There was also cliff jumping, a rope swing, and we beached it for a bit and had a delicious lunch prepared by the crew.
We had Giovanni, Sullivan, nick or “Johnny”, and I believe his name was Nidir. They were great guides and very involved with the guests. They all grew up in the area and were very knowledgeable and encouraged guests to have fun. We will be back to do more tours with jungle splash eco tours.

Giovanni was super knowledgeable about all aspects of the lake and the waterfalls we visited.
Made the pontoon ride fun and enjoyable.
He took the time to get to know us and even made some recommendations on additional things to do.

So much fun! A couple of the hikes were challenging but well worth it! The pontoon ride was so much fun. A lot of people from all over getting together and having a great time. The food was excellent. The crew is so helpful on the hikes. I wouldn’t have been able to do them without Giovanni’s help! A must in San Ignacio.

The road to the pontoon was not great, but the activity was amazing. We were the only boat on the lake, the waterfalls were amazing and Giovanni was a great host, he made a super tasty meal right on the boat with the charcoal grill.

The hiking back to two of the waterfalls is fairly strenuous and requires very good balance. The pontoon boat is a good place to relax if you don’t want to hike and climb.
The staff were pleasant and helpful. Lunch was very good! The van we took to the launch was a wreck but it made it both ways without breaking down. My kids said this was their favorite part of our vacation.

It was a day full of experiencing natural wonders in Belize. We enjoyed getting to know and learn much from Giovani. So personable. And we became quick friends with a wonderful family of six from Idaho. That made the experience at the three falls so memorable!

Wonderful, informative, friendly, fun guides! Nadir and Giovanni were excellent. Provided us with history, geology, naturalist information and humor. We three ranged in age from 72-83 years old. We’re in reasonably good shape, but the guides were there to help us into waterfalls, off and on the boat, and were pleasant and helpful in every way possible. This made the trip especially wonderful as we had no mobility worries! The lunch cooked on board was delicious. They provided chicken, roasted vegetables, fresh tortillas, sausage, soft drinks, water. On the drive to the jungle River they stopped so we could buy beer and snacks. The ride is long and bumpy but well worth it! You’re traveling through the jungle and the drivers even stop if they sight interesting wild life. We stopped to observe two Pigmy Owls that were quite unique. They also have pit stops along the way. Such a great experience! Our driver, David was very knowledgeable and provided information about the natural habitat, wild life and birds in the area. Don’t miss this experience!

Absolutely the best day of our trip. The scheduled tour is fabulous; beautiful waterfalls, informative guides, delicious food. But our guides made it an even better experience and were so much fun.
My 2 year old had a blast, Giovanni and Nadir included her in everything and made sure I also got the opportunity to experience everything by keeping her company and playing with her on the boat so I could jump from the waterfall and more.
Overall, this will be one of our most memorable days ever.

This experience was just the right combination of relaxation and adventure. We loved watching the wildlife and chilling on the pontoon. My twin teenage boys loved jumping off the rocks and the rope swing. Lunch was absolutely delicious.

I did this with an 18 year old and a 2 year old. We all had fun. This is definitely a family friendly tour. We were able to swim in the falls and the guides helped with the baby. I would highly recommend. The kids still talk about this tour it was one of the best on our trrip !!

Be ready for a “Belizean massage”. The road the the starting point is very rough. Once on the boat, everything was absolutely amazing!

Be prepared to ride in a very old and battered vehicle and on a large wooden raft with a small motor and primitive BBQ grill.-lovely driver and co-pilot/cook on the raft.
The sights were gorgeous but the hike to waterfalls is not for those who are unsteady or may need someone to make sure they are safe. My friend felt abandoned by the guide.

This was truly a once in a lifetime experience. We were so incredibly lucky and we were the only 2 on the tour. We had the entire boat to ourselves. Nadir was an awesome guide and made a wonderful lunch. I highly recommend this experience to anyone.

My family really enjoyed the day on the pontoon boat. We got to experience some cool waterfalls. The food they cooked on board was delicious.
The ride to get to the pontoon boat was pretty long, bumpy, and rough, but worth it.

Excellent time from start to finish! Booking and pickup were seamless and easy. Pickup was on time and ready to go. Our guides Nadir and Geovanni were super friendly and had tons of information to share about a variety of topics. In addition to the pontoon tour, we also saw many animals and birds, as well as learning about some of the local plants and history. Some sections of the waterfall climb looked a bit daunting but the team made it really quite easy. There was always someone there with a helping hand if needed. Delicious lunch provided on board, and stunning views throughout really made this a top notch day.

Giovanni was a very fun and well-informed guide. The waterfalls were breathtaking, especially sandpaper waterfall. The boat was comfortable, and the food was amazing. Lots of fun to be had, and a must if you are in the area. However, it was not a "private" trip as advertised as there was another group with us. This ended up being a plus as they were very pleasant people, but it should be noted when booking.

Highly recommend this if you are going to San Ignacio. Such a fun day - the guides, Nadir and Giovanni, are so much fun and super helpful with pictures, crossing terrain, cooking an incredible lunch and making the environment a ton of fun. You stop at the local grocery store first to buy snacks and beers and are on the journey. An awesome experience to make you feel like you're in an Indiana Jones movie!

This was an amazing day! Nadiir and Giovanni are awesome guides. They are fun and knowledgeable, and kept us safe. They helped me step by step with the short hike to the waterfall, getting on and off the boat, and anything else I needed they were there to assist and please! Jovanni and Nadir were great. Trip in was bumpy but worth it!! There were other groups out there that looked like parties but we enjoyed the nature and small group we traveled with.

The trip was so relaxing and beautiful! The guides Giovani and Nadir were the best! They were not only funny, but cooked us a wonderful meal on board and Giovani was always a step ahead of me, helping me off the boat, and on the hike to the waterfalls. Where do i start? Our tour guide (Nadir) was fantastic, extremely friendly and a wonderful cook. The tour itself takes you through a tropical river with a few stops for swimming beside majestic waterfalls. The scenery is picturesque and you can see all sorts of wildlife. A quick stop for lunch and my only regret is having to get off the boat at the end. This is a trip for everybody, family and friends. We are a family of 6 with 4 kids of 15, 13, 10, 9 yo.

First I'd like to say that this does require a bit of dexterity. The road is long. And bumpy. And you have to walk across rocks in places. And through water. And the second thing I'd like to point out is that you aren't in the US. In the US red flags would be raised regarding safety. (Nothing serious - just seat belts that didn't work, and some pretty rough roads). But no one was hurt. And we had a wonderful time! We saw a part of Belize that we would never have otherwise seen on our own. The falls were beautiful, the tour guide, Nadair, was great.
So if you have read this far, please remember these points and keep a positive attitude during the trip. It is worth it.

Although we loved the pontoon, the drive to and from was alot longer than was described. It ended up being a 9 1/2 hour tour, not the 4-8 hours that is listed. I would suggest you update the description. The crew is amazing, the water falls were wonderful. The fresh cooked food was fabulous. Just be prepared to be gone a very long time
