Great use of a day in Barcelona

This is a very full day, but if your stay is limited, it is a great way to see some of the main sites outside of Barcelona. All three places were very interesting and worth the time there. There is some time spent driving, but a good chance to doze off. Guides (Roger and Jorgi) kept it informative and light.

Exactly as described. Two hour bus ride. Stop in beautiful, quant French village for an hour. Two hour bus ride. About three hours in Andorra. Two hour bus ride. Know what you’re getting into and decide if it’s worth it. I wanted to add another country to my list, so this was a great way to do it. Enrique was a great guide.

This tour was more than we ever expected. We do tons of tours and this was the best one in terms of knowledge, history, culture and scenery all rolled together. Monserrat, Girona & Tossa were stunning! Nuri, our guide was brilliant! Informative, knowledgeable, cultured and unbelievably bright. We were so impressed everything we got from this tour. During our travels we ran into some of Nuri’s peers who were also very complimentary of her knowledge calling her their very own Wikipedia. Nice mixture of experiences

We really appreciated our guide who was attentive and well informed. We were glad we chose a tour with the funicular ride, which was a novelty my 19-year-old daughter and I both enjoyed. The hike down also provided lovely views. It’s a lot of direct sun and requires some agility to not slip on some steeper stretches. Not a challenging hike cardio-wise but folks need to be decently fit and sure-footed. If I were by myself I might’ve preferred to just explore Montserrat on my own time and pace, to get more into the spiritual intrigue of it all. But for a nice six-hour easy outing, this was a perfectly pleasant way to experience Montserrat.

The tour was informative...

The tour was informative and enjoyable. The time in Girona is spent with a guide so there is no time to freely look, but we were able to wander on our own in France. It is about 4-5 hours of driving total so I wouldn’t recommend for younger kids. Also, there were quite a few stairs so not stroller or disability friendly.

Absolutely fantastic tour. Couldn’t recommend enough. There were only 3 of us plus our guide in a really comfortable car so it was basically like a private tour! So amazing value for money. Nu (our guide) is so knowledgeable about Dalí and his fascinating life. The museum is incredible. Cadaques is beautiful and Dali’s house is very unique & interesting. I thought the day was going to feel really long & exhausting but it went really quickly. If you are interested in Dalí and his life/work you must go! Thanks so much Nu-you are a star!

Beautiful day on the Mediterranean Sea

Our guide Mateu was professional, attentive and knowledgeable. He made sure everyone was having a good time and safe. Not only did he ensure our group was cares for he also was taking care of the animals in the sea. We kayaked into a nature preserve and came across a person snorkeling poaching octopus illegally. He took the GoPro he was taking photos of us dove down caught a video of the poacher in action. He called the authorities and sent them the information. He also flat dove down about 70-80ft to recover a lost mask and snorkel. He loves his country sharing the beauty with visitors. If you can request him as your guide as you will have an amazing experience!!!

Awesome tour!

We have been on many tours throughout Europe and I must say this is one of the best tour experiences we have ever had. This is thanks to our wonderful tour guide Nuria! Book this hour with Nuria you will not regret it. Nuria picked us up at our hotel and we then headed out to the Salvador Dali museum. Nuria explained what each painting by Dali symbolized. We both love art and without her explaining the meaning of his incredible art, we most likely would have admired his painting and walked away. Next we visited Costa Brava, had a delicious lunch, and walked the breath taken coast and beach. Next Nuria took us to an amazing mid evil village, were some of the buildings are from the 13th century. Alas, good things must come to an end with Nuria driving us safely back to Barcelona.
