- According to the schedule on the Montserrat website, the choir does not perform on Saturdays. However, on Sundays, you have the opportunity to witness their enchanting performance (or an adults choir) during Mass. Please note that there are no choir performances during the summer holidays, certain afternoons, and over the Christmas holidays.
- Travel in Comfort: Our tour uses a Private Mercedes Van with spacious seating and ample legroom.
- Please note that attending the Boys' Choir performance is subject to availability. We strive to provide these experiences for all our guests and It is highly unlikely that these experiences will not be available on your selected tour date. In the rare instance that such unavailability occurs, you will promptly receive a notification after your booking.
- Please note: If you are interested in attending the Black Madonna’s throne for personal prayer time, please send us a message; we will endeavor to arrange your attendance (subject to availability, additional fees, and tour pickup time changes).

Montserrat is a gorgeous excursion! Adrian gave us wonderful insights during the drive to Montserrat, and told us details as we wandered around the Abbey. We would strongly recommend this excursion and we would strongly recommend Adrian as your guide.
Do not miss this super special tour of Monserrat. Adrian our tour guide is fantastic and so accommodating to our group. We were there on a Sunday and went to the mass and saw the choir.
We were not prepared for how wonderful this tour would be! This was a private tour with Adrian as our guide. He was smart, funny, and extremely knowledgeable: the perfect guide! So much information was provided that I had to go back to our hotel and write notes so I could remember it all. The day had perfect weather and our untouched photos are incredible. The Basilica itself is quite impressive. We saw the Black Madonna and heard the Boys' Choir.
Our day to Montserrat was incredible. We had a nice luxury van with the BEST tour guide named Adrian. He knew everything and more! Where to park, what is the best bathroom, what time to get into line before the crowds etc. We couldn’t have done it without him. The church, the Madonna, the choir were all terrific. Overall, I highly recommend it.
The best tour guide we've had on her 19 day trip! We've taken tours nearly every day and this was, by far, the best tour guide we've had! He knew all the tricks to get us to get in and out of places and have the best views and seats to see the boys choir. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour and request Adrian!
An incredible tour! Our group loved every minute of it. Our tour guide made the day just perfect with his attention to every detail, his knowledge of all the history, the tips on everything to see, and the organization of the day. We enjoyed all the attractions that we viewed and all the opportunities to learn about the area and the fascinating history. We also enjoyed sampling the market goods and the liqueurs. It was a wonderful tour and the perfect way to end 2025!!!
Our guide was very knowledgeable when he toured us around. but also gave us plenty of time to ourselves to shop, ride the tram, and grab a snack. He was punctual and friendly. He even helped us find some souvenirs and dinner when we got back to Barcelona.
Adrian is a very experienced guide with strong knowledge but also skilled in the sequencing and little things that give you the best seats, the best view, the best photos. Montserrat is an incredible trip, even if you go for non-spiritual reasons - we were a mixed group in that respect and all got a lot out of it. Next time we do some of the hikes :).

Adrian was a great guide with extensive knowledge of the Monastery and surrounding area. Besides the beautiful views and religious significance of the monastery the history of destruction and reconstruction was very interesting.
Adrian is an excellent driver and extremely competent guide. His depth of knowledge far surpasses the content of this particular event and we were thrilled to be the lucky beneficiaries of that knowledge. He had a Mercedes van in pristine condition, picked us up at a perfect location, where all of us could easily and safely embark on the journey. He provided interesting information about the region on the way to and from Montserrat, and he had a sensible itinerary for us once there. He also told us about areas outside the region and we had a great conversation about Turkey as well. Anyone would be so lucky to have this fine man as their guide! Adrian was generous to offer to answer any questions we might have outside of the tour and I did take him up on that. We hit a snag in a train schedule and I couldn't quite figure out if I was reading a certain element correctly so I sent Adrian a text and he set me straight. We're forever grateful!

Montserrat is indescribable - you must visit to experience the majestic mountain, beautiful monastery, the black Madonna, Catalan Mass, and the boys choir. Adrian was a fantastic guide! He has been doing this for over a decade and knows his stuff. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make our day an experience we would cherish. As I was the only one of our group interested in going up to see the Madonna and don’t speak Spanish, he accompanied me to the waiting line and met me on the other side. He regaled us with folk tales behind the various histories which was an added benefit we appreciated. The tour would have been far less interesting without his commentary and attention. Adrian went out of his way to provide an amazing day for us! He communicated with us the day prior about our hotel pickup and made sure we knew what our day would entail. We didn’t have the weather on our side but he managed to get us to all the points outdoors to see. Adrian continued to look out for us throughout the tour by making sure we were seated early for the boys choir, pointed out specifics of things we were seeing in the monastery. If you are going to Montserrat you must take this tour. We were picked up at our apartment by Adrian. What a wonderful guide! He was kind funny and informative. He even made sure we got photos at special points along the way. Everthing was timed perfectly, no rushing at all. The boys choir was wonderful. We also had sufficient time to explore on our own.
