Next, ascend to the Montserrat Mountains via cable car for an alternative route to the Monastery, reaching an altitude of nearly 4,000 feet. Then, explore the Abadia de Montserrat with a private guided walking tour, delving into local history and religious heritage.
Experience the day's pinnacle at Santa Maria Basilica, where
you'll watch a boys' choir performance and marvel at the revered Black Madonna statue, the symbolic centerpiece of Montserrat Monastery.

- According to the schedule on the Montserrat website, the choir does not perform on Saturdays. However, on Sundays, you have the opportunity to witness their enchanting performance (or an adults choir) during Mass. Please note that there are no choir performances during the summer holidays, certain afternoons, and over the Christmas holidays.
- Travel in Comfort: Our tour uses a Private Mercedes Van with spacious seating and ample legroom.
- Please note that attending the Boys' Choir performance is subject to availability. We strive to provide these experiences for all our guests and It is highly unlikely that these experiences will not be available on your selected tour date. In the rare instance that such unavailability occurs, you will promptly receive a notification after your booking.
- Please note: If you are interested in attending the Black Madonna’s throne for personal prayer time, please send us a message; we will endeavor to arrange your attendance (subject to availability, additional fees, and tour pickup time changes).

An incredible tour! Our group loved every minute of it. Our tour guide made the day just perfect with his attention to every detail, his knowledge of all the history, the tips on everything to see, and the organization of the day. We enjoyed all the attractions that we viewed and all the opportunities to learn about the area and the fascinating history. We also enjoyed sampling the market goods and the liqueurs. It was a wonderful tour and the perfect way to end 2025!!!

Our guide was very knowledgeable when he toured us around. but also gave us plenty of time to ourselves to shop, ride the tram, and grab a snack. He was punctual and friendly. He even helped us find some souvenirs and dinner when we got back to Barcelona.

Adrian is a very experienced guide with strong knowledge but also skilled in the sequencing and little things that give you the best seats, the best view, the best photos. Montserrat is an incredible trip, even if you go for non-spiritual reasons - we were a mixed group in that respect and all got a lot out of it. Next time we do some of the hikes :).

Adrian is an excellent driver and extremely competent guide. His depth of knowledge far surpasses the content of this particular event and we were thrilled to be the lucky beneficiaries of that knowledge. He had a Mercedes van in pristine condition, picked us up at a perfect location, where all of us could easily and safely embark on the journey. He provided interesting information about the region on the way to and from Montserrat, and he had a sensible itinerary for us once there. He also told us about areas outside the region and we had a great conversation about Turkey as well. Anyone would be so lucky to have this fine man as their guide! Adrian was generous to offer to answer any questions we might have outside of the tour and I did take him up on that. We hit a snag in a train schedule and I couldn't quite figure out if I was reading a certain element correctly so I sent Adrian a text and he set me straight. We're forever grateful!

Adrian was a fantastic guide! He has been doing this for over a decade and knows his stuff. He was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to make our day an experience we would cherish. As I was the only one of our group interested in going up to see the Madonna and don’t speak Spanish, he accompanied me to the waiting line and met me on the other side. He regaled us with folk tales behind the various histories which was an added benefit we appreciated. The tour would have been far less interesting without his commentary and attention. Adrian went out of his way to provide an amazing day for us! He communicated with us the day prior about our hotel pickup and made sure we knew what our day would entail. We didn’t have the weather on our side but he managed to get us to all the points outdoors to see. Adrian continued to look out for us throughout the tour by making sure we were seated early for the boys choir, pointed out specifics of things we were seeing in the monastery. Our party of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our private tour to Montserrat!! Great job Adrian! Great Tour guides definitely make a difference.

If you are going to Montserrat you must take this tour. We were picked up at our apartment by Adrian. What a wonderful guide! He was kind funny and informative. He even made sure we got photos at special points along the way. Everthing was timed perfectly, no rushing at all. The boys choir was wonderful. We also had sufficient time to explore on our own. Thank you Adrian for a perfect day in Montserrat.
