The tour to the lakes was a great tour and lasted just the right amount of time. Our tour guide, Red, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable, and if he didn't know an answer, was willing to find out. He was humorous and made the trip very fun. Plus, he knows everyone! I would recommend this tour to other Banff visitors.

Highly recommend. A great price. A great tour, so many places, goes by quickly.

We had a great tour guide/driver, Mark. Very accommodating, great person. We had a small van, full, held 14 people which makes for a very personable tour - you get to know other people, or at least familiar faces and good guide interactions then as well. It becomes more personable and also accommodating. We saw alot of places. The thing with a tour is, everything is fast paced. Even if you stop at a spot for 50 minutes, you have to account for washroom breaks/line ups and times to get to attractions like walking to lodges or lake views and then getting back to the vehicle ON TIME, respecting the tour itinerary and everyone else on the tour, so the day goes by so quickly. It's like a whirlwind. Our tour said 8-11 hours long and it went from 7:30am until 6pm. So quickly though. Many times not enough time to see everything or take everything in because of much needed washroom breaks but still, a great tour. Recommend for sure. Please don't forget to tip your driver/guide as so many do not and they deserve it for all that they do, maneuvering through tricky, full, parking lots, and lots of safe driving etc. Especially for the long days.

Great tour

This is an easy and convenient way to hit the most scenic lakes in Banff. The bus is comfortable and our guide, Lisa, was delightful. She was organized and knowledgable and switched easily between English and Chinese. Lisa pointed out the best views for photos and gave us plenty time at each stop. This is a must for your visit to Banff.

Most beautiful lakes I’ve ever seen

It’s well worth it. We were on a tour which is better than you driving yourself. I believe they only let tour busses etc to Lake Moraine. Parking can be difficult if you drive yourself to Lake Louise. Unfortunately it was foggy so we didn’t have the contrast of the sky and top of the mountain. It was prettier than I had expected. Both lakes are amazing to see. Our driver told us Lake Moraine is prettier because of the color of the water, he was right! Definitely take this tour to see both lakes, well worth the money.

Absolutely visit Lake Louise while in Banff!

Know before you go the dates Moraine lake is closed as the tour guide had discretion on an alternate location which we did not care for (too much uphill hiking) but heard it was nice. Tour guide Louis was friendly and appreciated his history of the area, i.e Lake Louise, native inhabitants, etc. Didnt care for him sharing so much personal info. Good driver but his microphone/speaker stopped working so folks in the back missed what he was saying.

Amazing VIP experienced tour!

We had the best time in our favorite place! Thank you to Layse, our amazing tour guide! We usually go to Banff by drive but using Westar service is another experienced for me and my husband. This time we are just so relax and just go with the flow while enjoying the scenic view. Not worrying where to park and how to fit all schedule together. We felt like VIP, just hop off and enjoy.

We like our tour guide, Aashish

I traveled to Banff with my colleague on this tour, and it was a great experience. The pickup was on time, and we actually spent more time in Banff than what was stated in the description, which was a nice surprise. Our guide, Aashish, was also the driver. He drove steadily and safely, and he was very friendly, polite, and always willing to help. For people who love taking pictures, this tour is a great choice because Aashish takes really good photos. He knows how to make girls look slimmer and taller in pictures, which I really appreciated:) He is also easy to communicate with for photos. From chatting with his colleague in Banff, I also learned that he has been working to improve his photography skills. He is clearly a very hardworking person. I definitely had a wonderful trip and would love to go back again!

Awesome scenery and awesome crew

Bella, our tour guide plus Liv and the other captain provided a splendid experience. The lake is beautiful, and the surrounding mountains are breathtaking. Bella gave us a lot of information about the lake, surrounding country, the original human inhabitants, and more recent history. She punctuated her presentation with occasional humor and smoothly incorporated a set of pictures into her presentation. (And she demystified the legend of the lake monster.) It was a great way to spend on hour on the water.

A wonderful tour covering Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and parts of Banff National Park. Our brilliant tour guide, Jake, made this more of an adventure. Part historian, part outdoorsman, great comic relief and self proclaimed best looking tour guide in the Canadian Rockies, Jake really made this a day to remember. He shared so much history about the area and this great wilderness we all enjoyed. We were lucky enough to see a mother Grizzly Bear and her cubs eating berries on the side of the road to Moraine Lake. This 4 .5 hour tour is a perfect length. Sign up for the early tour to beat a lot of the crowds.
