Itinerary
After pickup from your Banff accommodation, travel with your guide to the famous Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, both part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of their natural beauty. You have time at each lake to admire their turquoise colors, wander the shoreline, and take photos.

Continue to a viewpoint in the Valley of Ten Peaks overlooking Moraine Lake, and capture photos of Banff’s incredible natural beauty.

- The access road to Moraine Lake is closed until late May each year and from early October onwards. Early season and late season bookings will not include Moraine Lake, but will instead spend 1 hour at Lake Louise.
- Group bookings of 9 or more guests have a 7 day cancellation period.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 24 travelers

Our guide Brodie was excellent. He was full of information that he shared with us. The tour was just perfect.
The tour guides — Sophi and Victoria were excellent! They kept us on track with the tour, and the scenery and lakes are spectacular! I highly recommend. We even saw a black bear by the side of the road not far from Moraine Lake. What a thrill!
My fiancé and I enjoyed this tour a lot! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and took great photos for us! We loved every minute of this day.

Your director was poor. No personality and no information given. Was told to meet at tran station couldn’t pick up at hotel so drive 45 minutes just to go right back where we came from. Totally a waste of our time. Very disappointing.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear the tour didn't meet your expectations. It sounds like you were staying in Lake Louise. Unfortunately, this half-day tour to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake doesn't offer hotel pickups there, as guests would miss a significant portion of the tour and commentary. We do our best to accommodate pickup changes when possible, and we're sorry this booking wasn't the right fit.
Loved going to the lakes. They were beautiful. However the trip from the hotel to the destinations was disappointing. The driver/tour guy was pretty boring. He used “um” and “ah” like every 3 rd word which made it sound like droaning on and on. He spoke for long times on subjects that seemed to be his interest but not mine. I’m not going to hike in the back country so I don’t need to know how to tell the difference between grisly bears vs other bears. Nor do I want or need to know about bear paws and the prints they make. Several times he seemed confused or distracted while driving and speaking. He embellished stories using contemporary phrases like “dude” or dancing to music he played while waiting for people to join back at the bus. I couldn’t wait for the tour to be over. Sorry but this is the truth. This guy seems young and wanted to talk about subjects that interested him. Nice guy but your was a disappointment and not what I have experienced in the past from your company.

It was a great tour. Late afternoon allowed for light crowds. Sam was a lot of fun. He shared lots of good information about the area and took great photos.

Fabulous small group tour with lovely Jade who was really knowledgeable and looked after us well. The lakes were stunningly beautiful and without Jade's advice we would never have seen the best view of Moraine Lake.
Great guide, comfortable transit vehicle, and 3 pm was a wonderful time of day to head out to visit the lakes because crowds were dropping off. The Discovery guide demonstrated much knowledge and had thorough answers to all my questions. She also took the time to point out the mighty but mini picas in their territory at Lake Moraine.
Chole was a great guide to Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. Chole gave us so much history of the area along with great recommendations to do in Banff!
A wonderful tour covering Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and parts of Banff National Park. Our brilliant tour guide, Jake, made this more of an adventure. Part historian, part outdoorsman, great comic relief and self proclaimed best looking tour guide in the Canadian Rockies, Jake really made this a day to remember. He shared so much history about the area and this great wilderness we all enjoyed. We were lucky enough to see a mother Grizzly Bear and her cubs eating berries on the side of the road to Moraine Lake. This 4 .5 hour tour is a perfect length. Sign up for the early tour to beat a lot of the crowds.
We had Heidi as our tour guide and she was excellent! Very knowledgeable about the history and geology of the area. Great tour!
Our driver and guide was great! He shared local info and was a good driver. He also had some good tips about both lakes and the best locations to view from. He was available to take photos and answer questions.

Overall experience was wonderful! Had the pleasure of having Ray as our guide and he had great stories along the way and tips for what to do at each spot.
Our tour guide Jeff was the best! He knew so much about the area and was very friendly! The lakes were beautiful....even on the rainy day we had.
This was a good short tour. I traveled with a group who don’t like tour busses. This was a great alternative because it is only 4.5 hours long. Also you got off the bus several times. Other than we got a cold and rainy day, it was interesting information and we were able to see both lake Louise and Moraine. Moraine wouldn’t have been available by private car and we all thought it

It’s a quick tour. Didn’t have time at the lakes to either walk a trail or shop in the gift stores due to time allotted and the already present crowds.

Great way to see both Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. This is a must do. The pick-up was on time and the guide provided information about Banff on the drive up to the lakes.
Lake Moraine was stellar. Lake Louise was beautiful as well but no comparison in the day we were there
We had a great time and were fortunate to have Alex as our guide. He provided excellent service, from providing history of the area to even taking photos of tour members at the best spots based on his experience. The duration of the visit to each lake was enough to take pictures and explore the lake areas, get a drink, and use the bathroom if needed. We also stopped along the way to take in other vantage points and view animals when they popped out of the woods. Light snack and water were also provided. Highly recommend this tour and if you get Alex, consider yourself lucky. A+++++
Roz was the best tour guide we have had all week. Knowledgeable with history of the area and making it enjoyable. The views we saw were amazing. We did the steps to lake Moraine. Even though it was a little hard for a 61 year old with bad knees I would do it again. The view was spectacular.
Having done similar full day tours in other countries, my family and I opted for the half day tour since we were bringing our 2.5 year old. The tour length was a perfect amount of time, though the lake visits did feel short. Even with the short lake stops, it was worth it to avoid parking and driving. We brought a car seat and installed it on the bus. The bus was extremely spacious and seats were very comfy! Our tour guide shared a lot of history as we drove and was friendly to our kiddo. There were plenty of opportunities to use restrooms and buy food or water.
We could enjoy the sights and not worry about driving, parking, admission fees, etc. Tour guide was knowledgeable and stayed on time schedule as closely as possible. One couple was nearly 30 minutes late returning to the bus following our last stop, which inconvenienced all the rest of us. The guide was patient and professional with them and us! There may be other strategies that the company could consider to deal with similar issues in the future, especially if others on the tour were on a tighter time schedule for the day!
Excellent guide in Georgia . She did an amazing job. The company had excellent booking communications because we needed a different pickup location. Lake Louise was a bucket list item.

Very comfortable shuttle and small tour. Love that it wasn't too many people and they took us exactly where we needed to go with no stress! The lakes were beautiful, and the tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful.
