We had a very nice
Tour guide but this was our least favorite tour we did. He was not very knowledgeable and did not really show us around. Would not recommend this tour.

The day trip to Lake Louise and other nearby lakes was very well managed. Driver was courteous and professional. He started the tour on time and completed little bit early.

The locations visited were all excellent with plenty of time to visit each one. Marble Canyon was a little challenging for someone with mobility challenges. The reason I have given only three starts for this excursion is because my husband and I were the only non Chinese speakers on the trip. The Chinese tour guide spoke English but was very difficult to understand and this spoiled the experience. What was most troubling was the driving. The driver/tour guide drove at 110KMH when the maximum speed limit was 90 KMH. There were occasions when he had no hands on the steering wheel because he used the headset microphone in his hand while pointing with the other. On the first stop I told him I was unhappy with the speed of his driving and that I felt unsafe when he had no hands on the steering wheel, he seemed surprised, but did slow down when the journey recommenced. He also kept checking his mobile phone while driving. Although I enjoyed the locations the journey was unpleasant.

Dear Irene,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent excursion with us. We're truly sorry to hear about the challenges you experienced during your trip, and we sincerely apologize for any discomfort or inconvenience caused.
Ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our guests is our top priority, and we take your concerns very seriously. We have thoroughly investigated the issues you raised and are taking immediate steps to address them internally.
Regarding the language barrier with the tour guide, we understand how frustrating it can be when communication is not clear. We will be reviewing our guide selection and training processes to ensure that all of our guests, regardless of language spoken, can fully understand and enjoy the tour experience.
In terms of the driving behavior you described, we want to assure you that safety is paramount on all of our excursions. We have addressed this matter with the driver/tour guide involved and will be providing additional training to ensure strict adherence to speed limits and safe driving practices at all times.
We appreciate your feedback as it helps us to identify areas for improvement and enhance the overall quality of our tours.
Once again, we apologize for the unpleasant experience you had, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back on another tour in the future.
Best regards,
Joyce

This was a great tour - wouldn’t be able to fault it. The places we visited were beautiful, the driver/tour guide (Alston) was knowledgeable of the areas, informative and ensured people completed their booked optional add ons, he spoke in both English and Mandarin; absolutely everything he said was translated into the respective languages - accomodating for everyone onboard. We were given enough time at each stop - he was adamant (but polite) on punctuality, which personally I preferred that. Overall, it was a good day!

Just giving some feedback about the tour guide. We got stuck in the snow for almost 3 hours and he had no idea how to get us out. In the first half an hour while we all tried to push and shovel snow from near the tyres, he kept revving the car and spinning the tyres deeper and deeper whole everybody yelled at him to stop.
Eventually one of the guests took over the driving.
He also ripped off wooden planks from a nearby hut in the hope of providing some grip for the wheels, which I guess he was trying to be helpful but I feel that was totally not ok.
While I can laugh about the experience now, in hindsight it could have been very dangerous and I think your tour guides should be trained to drive in the snow, and trained on how to get out if stuck.
I would suggest in future carrying sand or kitty litter in the van in case it gets stuck.
The whole group helped for 3 hours and 2 visiting cars also helped us. Which is how we eventually got out.
We then carried on the tour and managed to get everything done which was awesome.
But I do think I need to leave that feedback so in future, your guides are specifically trained for road conditions.

First all,we are very sorry to bring the inconvenience and bad experience to our clients since the tour bus stuck in the snow mud for 2 hours in the cold weather,
The tour guide could not contact with head office immediately due to no signal in the Bow Lake area, but he asked a passing driver for help as soon as possible to make a emergency call . However, since there is no signal, the passing drivers also make long time to drive out of this area. Our Tour Group made a quick response after they received message, they contacted CIBC to carry out rescue.
As the same time, our tour guide asked the volunteer to push the vehicle out of the mud in order to save time. Since we know the winter road is not always keep in a good situation, so our vehicle and driver has already prepared some tools like spade, pad, wood etc in response to an emergency. Fortunately, they drove out of the mud before CIBC rescue coming.
Sorry again for bring your any inconvenience and thank you for your feedback.
