Good tour in minibus driver was very friendly however I don't think any driver should be drinking alcohol at lunch whilst on duty. The thermal baths and park is €17 extra or €13 for seniors not €8 as stated on my confirmations the water in the baths is orange and get on your skin Lunch was ok but two people plus driver had different meal ours was a slow cooked earth one. I would recommend the tour overall

One of the best experiences of our Caribbean cruise. On our crossing of the Atlantic from Europe to the Caribbean, we had the absolute pleasure of visiting Sao Miguel. Our host Gonçalo was the perfect ambassador, his knowledge and experience combined with an incredible pride for his home island, made for an unforgettable experience. After disembarking our ship we (my girlfriend myself and our two Canadian friends) where underway in literally minutes, no waiting, queues or hassle. Beautiful viewpoints, photo opportunities, lake furnas, the amazingly refreshing hot springs of Poca de Dona Beija (highly recommended) and the waterfall at Ribeira dos Caldeiroes made for an amazing day! Probs again for Gonçalo who was a fantastic host. Not only did his love for the Azores rub off on us, his English was also impeccable; often joining in when we bantered with our Canadian friends about their ‘exclusive accommodation aboard our ship’ This was a full day excursion. Pick up from the cruise terminal and back to the ship was approximately 8 hours. 10/10 would absolutely recommend!

My experience with Joaquim was absolute perfection. It was absolutely amazing to see Sete Cidades and Lago do Fogo. Everything was timed perfectly for a relaxed, yet eventful experience rooted in understanding more deeply the island’s customs and culture. I 100% recommend this experience and I suggest you request Joaquim to be your tour guide.

Our tour guide Felipe was incredible- kind, caring, and passionate about the island. We got to experience Furnas by night which was beautiful. I definitely recommend you go back during the day too in order to experience all Furnas has to offer. This is not to be missed!

I had an amazing private tour with Kevin. He was extremely knowledgeable of the islands history & landscapes. Unfortunately the weather wasn't behaving to view the mountain so he quickly adopted our itinerary to instead see the volcanic lava & caves. We traveled all over & he was so generous with his time. 5 star service!! I couldn't recommend Kevin more.

This is the best tour to truly experience Pico Island! You’ll get to see places that most visitors never reach, including incredible up-close views of the caldeiras and stunning landscapes all around. Filip is an outstanding guide — so knowledgeable about the island’s history, culture, and especially its unique plants. 🌿 His passion really brings Pico to life! Lunch was an amazing experience and such a special part of the day — delicious local food and wine, perfectly planned. 🍷🍽️ Everything ran smoothly from start to finish — we met right at the pier where the ferry arrives, and Filip was there waiting for us promptly. Highly recommend this tour if you want an authentic, unforgettable Pico adventure!

This was a very interesting and informative tour. The guide was outgoing and knowledgeable. He made our excursion an awesome experience. The volcanos are awesome; especially the one that blows smoke back at you. Enjoyed going to the hot springs and putting our feet in the hot water and then the cold. My feet felt rejuvenated.

Tour was as advertised! Weather cooperated to provide outstanding views of the craters, lakes and ocean. Miguel was very accommodating. He was very responsive to a couple of my pre-tour communications. I even enjoyed the pineapple drop more than I expected.
