What are people saying about Amsterdam

Fantastic tour
My tour guide was Jaap & he was fantastic! Friendly, funny, very engaging & exceptionally knowledgable. He also ensured we were safe at all times from the crazy cyclists. He made the tour thoroughly enjoyable, the time flew past & before we knew it the tour was over. Would highly recommend both the tour & Jaap

Very Interesting!
Great tour! We went on our first night in Amsterdam and I'm glad we did because Aarre gave us great insight into the customs and culture of the area. He was a funny and knowledgeable guide, he kept the tour feeling like friends hanging out and learning a bit of history. Was the museum worth the extra money?.... I'm not sure. It was still fun though!

Brilliant afternoon on Bikes!
Absolutely brilliant afternoon of sightseeing on bikes off the beaten track in Amsterdam. Plenty of fun facts , great insights about the city, great scenery but above all great fun
Our guide Tray was excellent and he made the afternoon a great experience

Not for prudes or children
Ben was an excellent guide for the Red Light District. He started the tour asking if anyone wanted to visit a coffee shop, but there was no pressure to do so.
The subject matter is adult oriented and the history of the area is actually sad if you care about the humans involved. Corrupt police, heroine, mafia, drug cartels, and death of jazz great Chet Baker.
Interesting if you like history or the novelty of the red light district.

Craig was a great guide....
Craig was a great guide. He managed to impart a lot of information on a very grave subject whilst also ensuring moments of light heartedness. We had a tour of the Anne Frank house afterwards and Craig gave a great introduction and some of the information given filled in some of the gaps in the house tour.

Take this tour, it's a must!
Aarre did a wonderful job. He tailored the tour to us. He showed us around the old Amsterdam canal area (including the red-light district) and showed us little historical details we never would have thought to notice. Aarre made Amsterdam truly come to life! Thank you for a fabulous morning.

An Incredibly Moving and Educational Tour
We thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour. It provided a powerful, deeply respectful look into Amsterdam’s history during WWII. We learned so much more than we expected about the regional Jewish community, their vibrant culture, and the challenges they faced. The guide, James, did an incredible job of weaving Anne Frank's personal story into the broader history of the neighborhood.
Please note that this is entirely an outdoor walking tour; it does not take you inside the office or the Secret Annex where Anne Frank and her family hid. However, seeing the surrounding area completely changed how we viewed the city's architecture and historic sites. We high recommend this tour

Terrific Canal Tour by a Local
Marty was a wonderful & engaging tour guide. He combined history, culture & humor to make the short experience quite memorable. He's also a good bartender!
The captain was friendly, but very quiet as he (properly) needed to focus on steering the boat
This was among the best tours of our 10 day vacation; if you have the chance to book a canal tour I highly recommend this one.

An Eye Opening Tour
This was not on our initial itinerary and was a last minute booking on our part, and I am so happy we booked it. It gave us such a deeper understanding of this area, dispelled myths, etc. Eden was our guide and had so much knowledge about this district, from its beginnings to current state of affairs. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Learning New Things
Even though I've been to Amsterdam before, I still learned so much from this walking tour. The guide was a very informative American who has lived in the Netherlands for decades. The entire group was actually American coincidentally. The group was 7 guests + 1 guide. I don't think a tour should be any larger since the streets can be crowded making it hard to stay together. I'd highly recommend a walking tour of most cities if you are new to a location, and this one was among the very best!

King Day Cruise
This was an excellent cruise with our Norwegian pilot, unfortunately with all the loud music on the streets, I couldn't hear his name. Kings Day is a crazy celebration but we had a unique front row seat to the celebration. The cruise takes you thru many of the narrow canals of Amsterdam and past old churches, beautiful homes and interesting architecture. I highly recommend this tour!

Good tour to take
So we took this tour yesterday with tour guard named Jacob, and highly recommend this company and tour to anyone who wants to learn about Amsterdam itself and the country in general.
Everything was well organized and efficient.
A few things to mention
1. Small group size. It was like 10 of us. Everyone was on the same pace and interests.
2. Picturesque views of Amsterdam. Pretty easy walking but good walking shoes are a must.
3. Lots of history and details were given.
4. The tour guard was helpful and attentive and very knowledgeable and professional
