What are people saying about Amsterdam

Epic flowers and tremendous crowds
The bus was very comfortable and pleasant. We caught the 8am bus on 4/29/26 from This is Holland and would’ve gone sooner if we could have. It was insanely busy by noon, shoulder-to-shoulder on most pathways. Easily still worth going, I’ve just never seen crowds like that, surpassed Mardi Gras or Disney, more like NYE in Times Square. Positively breathtaking flower displays, I’d go back in a heartbeat, even with the crowds.

Flowers! Flowers! And More Flowers!
What a memorable day! Windmills and tulips! The time at the farm was a a sight to behold. And being able to walk among fields of blooming daffodils and tulips was a photographer’s dream. The canal cruise with views of numerous windmills was relaxing as well as informative. But the highlight of the day was the breathtaking Gardens. A bucket list item checked off! Being there mid-April couldn’t have been more perfect even with the crowds. Hard to describe the acres and acres of blooms. Sensory overload. The entire day was well organized and the fact that we could spend as much time as we wanted at Keukenhof and take the bus back to Amsterdam at our leisure was a plus. Everything about this day was amazing. I highly recommend this day trip.

A very beautiful spot. The canal cruise is perfect to see all the houses. Nice restaurants and time to explore. Stopped along the way at a fruit and vegetable farm and tasted some local apples and pears. Very good. The tour guide was amazing and we had lots of fun.

Worth the time and money
This is a full day of sightseeing. Our guide was knowledgeable and shared a lot of historical facts about the areas we visited. We had a Mercedes sprinter van that was very comfortable. Well, this was one of the more expensive tours, it was really quite reasonable given the time and distance. Overall, I would recommend recommended if you want to see Delft, Rotterdam, and Den Haag.

Amsterdam is a fantastic base for exploring not only the Netherlands but also neighboring Belgium, as both UNESCO World Heritage-listed Bruges and the capital, Brussels, are easy Amsterdam day trips. Other great day trip options highlight Dutch country classics, from Keukenhof tulips to Zaanse Schans windmills via dams, dykes, cheesemakers, and clog factories. Try porcelain-making Delft, cosmopolitan The Hague, or Rotterdam, the Netherlands’ second city for a more urban day out. Whether your tastes run to food or culture, nature or history, there’s an Amsterdam day trip with your name on it.
