Already Papa Beniamino (affectionately called "Bè") in the 1960s delighted guests from all over the world with unforgettable culinary experiences. Primaluce is set between seas and mountains, among the green hills of Sorrento, up to look out over the infinite shades of blue of the Gulf of Naples. Here we offer a culinary & gourmet food tour through a genuine and seasonal path, dedicated to all those who love true and uncontaminated flavors! - Welcome drink - Stop in the relaxation area (lawn) - Pizza school with relative tasting - Lunch in a farmhouse consisting of your own pizza baked in a traditional wood oven, an appetizer of cold cuts and fresh mozzarella, field vegetables. The history of our family winery began many years ago, initially with the construction of the agricultural building between 1820 and 1880, including the ancient cellar. In 1880 our great-grandfather, Lorenzo Basileo, began producing wines and created "La Cantina Basileo". These old and trusted methods continue today, including the harvesting of grapes by hand. Located at about 400 meters above sea level, the sloping terraces covered by traditional wooden pergolas show an environment in harmony with nature. The production of Basileo, all red wines, consists of: the first line called TERRAE MARIS containing "TINTORE" wine in a percentage lower than "Piedirosso" and finally, the third line formed by reserve, preserved in oak barrels. The tasting begins with a visit to the vineyard and the cellars to end with the tasting of three wines accompanied by autochthonous foods produced directly.

We'll visit oil factory, near Sorrento, you'll going to visit the garden, see how they produce the oil and tasting with Pizza bread all the kind of extra virgin oil that they produce. After that we'll move to a beautiful winery at the feet of Mount Vesuvius where you will have lunch and wine tasting. You will try 6 kinds of the local wine production, one Gran Riserva and Dessert sparkling wine and distillate of apricot. All of this while having your lunch with an appetizers. Then you will eat fresh made Setaro pasta cooked with extra virgin olive oil, fresh cherry tomatoes and basel; at the end typical Neapolitan cake (pastiera) to enjoy the 2 kind of dessert wine. During the day we'll visit a typical lemon grove, this is the classic "Pergolato Sorrentino", very hard to preserve. you will have the privilege to taste the real limoncello and learn the true recipe of this liquor from a family of limoncello producers.
