Great day at Pompeii

We had a great day on this trip. We ended up adding a private guide for Pompeii which they recommended. It was great as there is so much to see and so many people and space to navigate. Definitely recommend a private guide. We then went horseback riding which was closeby. We had a great time with this as well. Easy ride through Vesuvius National Park and vineyards. Hardest part was keeping the horses from eating. Only thing about the horseback riding is that it was not private which we were expecting. We were with three other people who were very nice, but not private like we expected. People at the stables were great. Our driver then took us to a winery where we ended up having a five course meal and wine pairing which we were not expecting but was a very pleasant surprise. We were expecting more of an appetizer and a sample or two. We loved this experience. The view of Vesuvius was great. The food was incredible and wine/olive oil. Great experience and left with 24 bottles shipped to home. Our driver was great. I forget his name but was very friendly and informative. Great day!
