I thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour. It went deep on the historical significance of different landmarks and handled the heavy topic with sensitivity and care. I like how this ended at the POLIN Jewish Museum so you could explore that afterwards.

Olivia was an amazing guide! She really knew her history and answered so many questions. Could really tell she is passionate about the topic. I do wish we would have seen more sites/monuments.

This tour was incredibly detailed and powerful. Our tour guide Jacek was extremely knowledgeable and painted a picture of Jewish Warsaw, leading us through what remains after the devastation caused by Nazi Germany and WWII. We learned a lot, I would definitely recommend this tour.

    Fascinating

A great look at a people and place that would seem to have slipped into the abyss of history if not for tours like his. Our guide brought their stories back to life despite little in the way of physical remnants.

    Guide clearly solicits tips

    mindy_m, Jun 2025
It is interesting and comprehensive, and a lot of walking. The guide made it very clear that she was soliciting tips from the first moment we met. She said she was paid something from Viator but also asked us to consider an additional tip, which we did give her. This is not a criticism; she was quite good, but it is something to know in advance.

Excellent tour from an exceptional guide.

Olivia is an excellent guide. We learned so much from her. She has the best personality! The pace was perfect. We covered the Jewish Ghetto stopping at important and historical areas. Olivia seems passionate about the history of Warsaw and the ghetto and wants it told factually and accurately. I highly recommend this tour.

Long tour. You are standing on your feet along time. I thought it would be more walking. It was a cold day & windy. Not ideal for outdoors for 2 1/2 hours . Finally near end got to sit. I would have liked to go into synagogue( even briefly). Mostly historical tour.

    Super interesting

Tomas is a great guide, I learned so much on the history of polish jews and the city of Warsaw! Highly recommend.

    Walk About in Warsaw

    Nicole_F, Jul 2024
I learned so much on this tour. I had spent a week walking around the city, but wanted to know more about the places I kept seeing. The tour guide gave us all kinds of interesting facts. Some of the places we went I would never have found on my own. He found us a couple of places to sit while he spoke of the area. His humor was great. After the tour, I happened to pass by him eating lunch and reading a book outside of a bookshop. I didn’t bother him, but thought, that is why he’s such a great tour guide. He loves learning.

    Storyteller

    Danny_C, Jul 2024
Honestly speaking, there isn’t much left of the Jewish quarter. Our guide used what was left and told us stories to complete the picture. I was so focused that I forgot to take some photos I wanted, because I was preoccupied with his story telling. I enjoyed myself throughly.

    Never hide the true history

    Jonathan_U, May 2024
Good tour, sad, but I like the fact that Poland tells you the truth. The tour guy was cool and even gave those chocolate for answering the right questions. I will recommend this tour just for the fact that it was a sad history and should be known about.
