Itinerary
Begin your tour at your desired pickup point and hop aboard your Fiat 125p with your private guide.
Take off first to see the remains of the Ghetto Wall, constructed in the former Jewish Ghetto in 1940 and imprisoning over 400,000 Jews. Learn the complex history of Warsaw’s Jewish community from your guide, gaining a deeper understanding of the perils they faced during the Nazi occupation.
Continue to the Nożyk Synagogue for a look inside. An active place of worship today, it was the only synagogue to survive WWII. Afterward, travel to the former "Large Ghetto" of Muranów, now decorated with modern buildings and street art. Pause for a stroll through the Jewish Cemetery to pay homage to the lives lost.
Visit the Ghetto Heroes Monument next and, if you choose, make a stop at the Museum of the History of Polish Jews (own expense). Explore the acclaimed modernist space that chronicles over 1,000 years of Polish Jewish history.
As this is a private tour, feel free to mention any particular points of interest to your guide, including the film locations featured in "The Pianist," set in Warsaw during WWII. You are returned to your original departure point at the end of the tour.

Great tour of important Jewish sights in Warsaw. Only way to see these important places. Alex was a great guide.

We had a wonderful time on this private guided tour of the Warsaw ghetto/Warsaw Jewish history in a retro Fiat. Alec was our guide, and he did a fantastic job - from navigating through the city, to his knowledge of all the different tour stops, to his great English speaking and friendly demeanor - he was a gem! Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone desiring to learn more about Warsaw’s history, especially of the Warsaw Jewish people. We had a great time!

The tour was exactly as advertised. Konrad was very knowledgeable about Warsaw and the Jewish experience. He was punctual and friendly and shared a great balance of historical events. The cemetery was especially interesting and worth the extra payment. The old car experience was unique.

Karol the tour guide gave a fantastic tour. He was super knowledgeable and very personable. He gave great and interesting explanations of the places on the tour. I highly recommend it

First of all, my guide/driver, Karol, was absolutely the best. He is a doctoral student in history, and really knows the information inside out and backwards. He went above and beyond at every stop/site. The 80’s Fiat was a fun bonus! Karol covered all of the important and even some lesser Jewish Warsaw sites and general Warsaw history and associated buildings, monuments, memorials, etc.
So, why, you ask, did I give this tour 4 stars and not 5? It’s simple, and was not under Karol’s control. I flew into Warsaw in the afternoon and booked the 500pm tour, since it’s summer time and it’s light outside until after 900pm. However, I was not told that neither the synagogue nor the Jewish cemetery would be available to enter after 500pm. This is a serious error on the part of the tour company, as it would have been very meaningful to me. It should be clearly noted that you can have a nice tour starting at 500pm, but it CANNOT include entry to the synagogue or cemetery. If I had known this in advance, I would have booked for the following morning.
Despite this, the tour overall was remarkably well done and extremely meaningful to me. You should definitely take this tour, and I hope you have Karol as your guide.

Karol was a very knowledgeable guide (and a good driver of a vintage Communist-era Fiat. He was flexible and took us to see the sites we were interested in. In addition, he was patient with us when we stopped in a small store (Mi Polin) near a synagogue where they sold mezuzot made from molds of the original doorposts of homes of Jewish people in various towns in Poland. We enjoyed this tour very much.

So pleased with my 4-hour private tour of Warsaw with Marcin. After taking an initial tour of the city with another company, that promised to cover the history of the Jewish ghettos and uprising, I found myself left wanting something more in-depth. I got it with this tour.
This tour specifically covered Warsaw’s Jewish heritage, from pre-war times to present, with a focus on visiting sites of interest and hearing about the city’s history from WW2.
Marcin was a fantastic and very personable host, and his knowledge of the history of Warsaw was incredible. This gentleman is very passionate about what he does and it shows. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour and would highly recommend it. Thanks again!

I have always had an interest in World War II, and this gave me a very
good overview of what Warsaw went through during the war. The
guide was very knowledgeable, answered all our questions and more,
The retro Fiat was kinda fun, gave the tour a little something extra,
and we were glad we did this tour.
Leana_T, Apr 2024
Very interesting tour, Karol very young tour guide was very well prepared with a lot of information and photos that would help understand how it was back then. He took us to very interesting sights. The retro car gave an excellent experience

A 4 hour driving tour of Warsaw in this classic Fiat was a great way to see the city. Our guide did an excellent job conveying all the history of Warsaw, answered all our questions and seemed to know everything. She was a very pleasant person to spend time with and navigated the city with ease. She spoke perfect English and met us on time. It was funny to see how many people took pictures of the car as we drove by.

Very relaxed atmosphere conducive to learning fascinating information. Martin was extremely accommodating with respect to pickup and drop off locations. Also answered many questions. A wonderful experience of Warsaw.

I was specific n my needs when I booked but did not get the same.
Bernard_P, Sep 2023
Our guide was knowledgeable, able to answer all our questions as well as possessing a very good sense of humor. This is our 5th trip to Poland but we learned several things from our guide.
Brian_E, Sep 2023
Incredible tour in the retro FIAT. We learned so much Jewish History in this tour. Tour guide was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. It was highly personalized and I would strongly recommend!!
Linda_D, Aug 2023
We asked a lot of questions and Conrad did a good job at answering them and explaining the history of the Warsaw ghetto, cemetary, etc. It was a very interesting and informative time. I would recommend the tour. We also liked seeing the pictures if what the area was like during the war in contrast to how it looks now.
John_G, Jun 2023
The most memorable part of the trip was making personal discoveries about my family. Conrad was an excellent navigator and guide and added integrity and meaning to an incredible day.
Marsha_G, May 2023
This was an incredibly powerful and emotional tour of the Jewish sites in Warsaw. Our guide, Marchin, was extremely well informed and gave us a great deal of information about each of the places we visited. I highly recommend this particular tour to anyone of Jewish heritage.
Jon_P, May 2023
Martin was extremely knowledgeable, and had a great ability to put a VERY complex 800 year history in an understandable timeline. He brought personal family history of growing up in Poland before and after the cold war, putting it context with current Polish and specifically, Jewish life. He presented difficult history of life in the Ghetto, and the "Final Solution" in context of sights and buildings still standing today. One comes away with an understanding of something one thought he did, but didn't. Outstanding, and honestly, humbling experience!
Paul_M, Apr 2023
The tour was well worth it. Martin, my guide, had complex knowledge of the topics covered but it was his reverence to the subject that impressed me.
We chatted between sites and had free flowing conversation surrounding the tour and other things as well.
I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and Martin’s company for the hours we spent together.
Highly recommend if you’re in Warsaw and have a genuine interest in exploring the Jewish uprising from different angles.
Meghan_F, Apr 2023
Conrad was a knowledgeable and kind host. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with interest in WWII history — a lot of the sites are not easily explained at first glance, and not particularly close to each other either. Conrad brought out a lot of interesting insights and I saw a lot of things I probably would have missed trying to tour on my own!
John_T, Mar 2023
Marcin brought us on an amazing Jewish Warsaw Tour that was very interesting and informative. We seen all the sites that we hoped to including the Ghetto Wall. The tour was excellent and Marcin's English is perfect.
Amy_S, Oct 2022
Going to the locations where the Warsaw Getto was and seeing some of the memorials. The location if the bridge between the two parts of the getto was interesting.
Margalit_F, Sep 2022
We were extremely satisfied with the tour and the tour guide. He was very knowledgeable both in historical facts and current situation. He was polite and patient with our many questions. He answered all of them. Unfortunately his name escaped me. A shame, since he remembered our names and repeated them throughout the tour.
I highly recommend the tour and the tour guide.
