This was a fascinating walking tour. Magda was an excellent guide and very informative. It was eye opening to understand the history of Warsaw through the stories of the places we walked around . Highly recommend this tour.
Very knowledgeable tour guide. Handled all the subject matter and questions very well.
I would highly recommend this tour
Kuba was so knowledgeable and was incredibly proud of his country. We learned a lot and it was very interesting!
Really good tour with a knowledgeable guide who gave a lot of context and background to the tour. Welcomed questions and made the tour an interactive experience
This tour was exactly what we were looking for. It was super informative and the story telling by Peter was very well done. He weaved things together in interesting ways and he was very friendly and helpful with any questions about the city. Would definitely recommend it.
Fantastic guide (Albert) who has incredible knowledge.
We had very demanding weather conditions, 34°C, but everyone stayed till the end and Albert was enthusiastic at all times.
Our guide was Gorska. She shared memories from her own family as well as factual historical detail. We learned some interesting things as well as being taken around to some of the key places. It was the anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising so the whole city was buzzing; it was very patriotic. This tour was exactly what we hoped for.
The tour guide covers the important historical events of the ghetto and uprising. Tour guide is very knowledgeable.
Goska, the tour guide, was passionate, knowledgeable and thorough. She showed photos, told family stories and portrayed the passion of the polish people in Central Europe. We have taken many walking tours snd this was top notch! Wish we had time to take another one of her tours. Thank you Goska .
Well not only was Magda brilliant and informative she did so in the most awful weather conditions! The tour gave a detailed although understandably brief insight into what the city endured during WW11. It gave my husband and I a better understanding of events from this period and we are both grateful to her for sharing her knowledge.
This is a great tour of Warsaw if you’re interested in what happened in World War II tour guide is very knowledgeable and as a local. It’s a walking tour, but it’s not too bad of a walk..
We had a very knowledgeable guide who had been giving walking tours for over 7 years. He was attentive to the needs of the group given that it was a very hot day. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone who's interested in the WWII history of Warsaw.
Dramatic in-depth discovery of what Warsaw endured beginning September 1, 1939 through August 1944. Our tour guide was passionate, knowledgable and made you feel.
This tour is very informative. It helped me to learn more about the history of Warsaw and what life may have been like during the Second World War. Magda was an excellent guide and I felt comfortable asking questions.
It was a really interesting walking tour seeing some of the sights and learning about the history of the city. Hearing stories of what happened during the war and uncovering things that you would otherwise never know if you walked past on your own. Our guide Magda was really informative and gave great insights, and despite the weather playing up at times kept the tour very enjoyable!
Magda was a magnificent guide, with humour and intrigue. I can not speak of her more highly. Thoroughly recommended.
Great WW2 tour guide. Goals was fantastic and had a beautiful mix of personal stories and in depth historical facts. Highly recommended.
Comprehensive insight of the history of Poland, & particularly Warsaw, of the events leading up to WW2, the occupation & resistance. Guide, Gawel, was passionate & enthusiastic with local history & observations. A lot covered in a relatively short period. Gawel was considerate of group & kept everything on time.
As a long-time World War II history buff, I already knew a thing or two about Warsaw during this period, but I am nevertheless very happy to have joined this tour. My tour took place on an official holiday so the group was bigger than usual but our guide Maarten handled this very well and professionally. He was clearly very knowledgeable on the topic and frequently used photos and maps to illustrate his narrative at the various historic sites and monuments we visited. The tour was well-paced, not too slow and not too fast. Maarten remained enthusiastic despite the occasional rainfall and this helped to motivate the group. The tour lasted a little longer than foreseen, but our guide nevertheless still took extra time to answer additional questions and, eventually, to accompany myself and another participant to a nearby additional site after the tour had ended. Recommended!
Our tour guide allowed the group to expand to a completely unmanageable 45. He spent the first 15 minutes telling us of his qualifications (which were not relevant to the tour), the number of languages he spoke and his family circumstances. At the first stop the information he gave us was readily available from a cursory look at any guide book. After half an hour it was clear we'd learn nothing new from continuing the tour so my wife and I left it. A complete waste of time and money.
A great way to find out more about the WW2 history of the city, with really interesting details and anecdotes and a very friendly and knowledgeable guide!
The tour was good, the guide was great. Good stories good history. Only negative comment is that the tour company runs multiple tours do research ahead to know what you want to see so you pick the right tour.
Peter was our guide, he was great. The 2,5 hours were very interesting. We hihgly recommend this tour!
Peter did a great job! Very knowledgeable about the areas we visited providing stories and answering all questions effectively!
Excellent tour and very enjoyable. Loved the ride and the weather was very nice. Also includes major historical buildings and important places. Good time given for practice and very simple equipment, easy to use.
Our tour with Pedro was excellent! His knowledge of Polish history made for an excellent tour of the city.
The tour guide was super nice, but he was a little long-winded and didn’t do anything in any type of chronological order so it is hard to follow along… he would also get to rambling about other stuff.
Good experience. Well informed guide - Peter. Weather was harsh but he kept the interest with his narrative.
This is a great tour with excellent content and really interesting! Guide was really accommodating and was so so knowledgeable.
A very thorough and interesting tour that even the most astute history scholars can learn something from (I have a minor in Holocaust and Genocide Studies). Highly recommend taking this tour!
