Too many dates but not much to see

Marzena, the guide, was very good but the tour itself was difficult for several reasons-Jewish Warsaw is not in a condensed area therefore to see anything, you had to drive from place to place and also, most of the buildings/sites for Jewish Warsaw have been bombed or are no longer there, therefore making the tour very difficult to imagine. We spent too much time sitting in our guides car going over a letter sized map of where sites "use to be". Details were too much and I would have preferred a condensed version. Very diffierent than Jewish areas in Prague or Krakow. Marzena meant well but by the end we were tired and just could not absorb so many dates. When we did Auschwitz, the guide presented a very succinct, abridged tour and it was so much more interesting and easy to follow. If you are good with directions, I would do this on my own.
