This was such a great experience! I have done multiple tours in many cities and this has been my favorite. Maria was the best guide. You could see the passion she has for the city and the food. We loved the experience of using multiple means of public transportation. It was great to figure it out with Maria there to help. The food was all excellent, but our favorite was Thomas and his family owned stand, delicious and a great story teller.

Been on a few walking food tours and this was the best we have been on .Maria was very knowledgeable and places she took us was places we wouldn’t have went to.Food in abundance and very friendly hosts the all establishments.Public transport required but made less daunting with an expert on hand keeping us right at all times.

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on and I’m well-traveled enough. The tour guide Christoph was extremely knowledgeable and personable. The food was good to spectacular. Utilizing trams and subways allowed us to feel more comfortable navigating the city the rest of our time in Vienna and variety of districts visited felt like we got a broad range of what Vienna had to offer. We loved it and highly recommend anyone else coming to Vienna to sign up for one of these in the early part of your trip.

We’ve done food tours all over the world and this food tour was EXCEPTIONAL! Kristoff was an amazing guide, taking us to places all over the city that are off the beaten path - and most of all- delicious! My 11 year old son enjoyed the tour just as much as I did. We tried Viennese specialties, local dishes, treats and drinks- all while Kristoff gave us information about the city, country, food and culture. I can’t recommend this tour enough - it was so much fun. You’ll leave very full and won’t need a dinner reservation.

Great Tour with lots of food, and alcoholic drinks are included. You can opt out of alcohol and just have water or soft drinks. Kristof was our guide and he provided a great experience and was willing to answer lots of questions. You will not end this tour hungry!

I cannot say enough good things about this food tour! Christoph was a wonderful guide and led us to parts of Vienna we never would have discovered on our own. We experienced the best of Vienna food and culture the way the locals do. The food choices were all excellent and there was wonderful variety. Make sure you arrive hungry!

Come hungry for this tour. Loved the Viennese coffee shop. Loved the local bakery with the award winning donuts. Toured a farmers market and tasted some great dishes at a local stand. The guide was terrific. The food went beyond schnitzel and goulash (we had both).

We were a group of 7 including 2 small kids and were upgraded to a private tour with Wolfi - what a pleasure and definitely worth the money! The food was varied and interesting even for the Swiss among us, ranging from a beautiful retro coffee house to a market food stand, and we got tips on other places to eat while in Vienna. We loved the relaxed pace which allowed us to see and enjoy everything even with the kids along. Highest recommended!

Our guide Peter was very knowledgeable but at times it felt more like a historical tour rather than a food tour. We have done food tours before and for the price, we didn’t feel we had value for money with all of the food choices. In addition, it wasn’t clear why, but we didn’t follow the itinerary (did not even visit the Naschmarkt) and therefore it did not meet expectations and the tastings were different, which was disappointing.

Wow! Peter was an amazing guide. In addition to his culinary understanding, his love for Vienna makes him a great ambassador for this beautiful city, and I gained so much knowledge of the history and culture and, of course, the food! I felt like at each stop we were being let in on a secret and introduced to the most precious family friends. We’ve been on more than a dozen food tours all over the world, but this one has set the standard with its balance of history and culture along with the food. This was a fabulous tour!! Our tour guide Peter was very knowledgeable and generous with his time (he ended up extending it an extra hour or so, so we could learn more about the history of Vienna!). The food was fantastic, all the spots we saved for our return to Vienna. Real highlight was the coffee and stop at a food stall run by a dedicated man whose family had been serving Viennese yummies for decades. Really great grand finale. Also it’s a good tour - expect to eat…a lot! If you’re not interested in trying a whole bunch of foods throughout the day, this probably isn’t for you.

A truly memorable tour that got better and better as it went along. Mary Ann was engaging and informative. The last stop at a sausage stall in a neighborhood market outshone all that preceded it.

I was flying through Vienna and had a 15 hour layover. I was not sure if i could make it on time. Contacted Wolfy and he said he will wait in case I am late and take me to the group, which he did! Such a nice guy. Very responsive via text and accommodating to my needs.
Our tour guide was Christofer. Very knowledgeable and intelligent person, every food we had he told us a backstory, very captivating. He also told us so many jokes alongside the stories, it was a perfect way to learn about the food we were eating.
100% would book again when I am back with my family. Thank you Wolfy and Christofer!

Absolutely great experience! Peter Gallhofer is a perfect guide: knowledgeable not just in Vienna food scene but in the history, architecture, politics and way more. The group was small (5) and, although I was solo, felt right away welcomed, and enjoyed the company. We started in the center and then went to places most tourists never see. Peter’s warm and easy going approach of a welcoming host of one of the most beautiful cities of Europe made all the difference. As for the food, I have only one advice - fast for a day before you go :) It was delicious and progressed from less to more. Spoiler alert: the goulash was my absolute favorite, and it came by the end. Overall - a highly recommended tour and guide!

Excellent food tour. Christoph our guide was the best, thank you. Going from one place to the next to sample different foods was very easy and there was no rushing. Everything we tasted or had to drink was amazing. It was a great tour and would recommend doing it.

This was the best food tour I have ever been on. When we travel, we always pick up a food tour to get idea of the food culture of the area. Typically on our food tours we would get small samples and you are left wanting more. Not with this tour, in fact I had to cancel my dinner reservation for that evening because we stuffed. The guide was amazing with his knowledge of the local cuisine and history. An added side bonus, we learned how to use the local public transportation. I would highly recommend this tour.

Christoph was a great guide. Had no idea we would so efficiently see so much of the city outside of the tourist area. Each food stop was memorable. The final food truck stop for Goulash made me almost change my flight to get more.

I’ve done food tours in Victoria BC, Merida Yucatán, and now Vienna. What I enjoyed most was that our guide, Maria, made it a relaxed and informative tour. Other tours I’ve done have been a bit rushed, but the pace was perfect in my opinion. At each stop portion sizes were generous.

One of the best food tours I’ve been on (and have experienced them all over the world!)
Excellent guide - Kristoff- who was funny, knowledgeable and extremely organised : great ! We were lucky enough to only be in a group of just four, so able to ask lots of questions ! Every stop was wonderful , about 7 (?) in total with a balance of different , and all delicious, foods and drinks to experience. What made this is stand out was that all beverages – including beer and wine – were included which is unusual for food tours. Additionally, the added element of getting to know the public transport system in Vienna was fun and really useful for future.usage. Communication after the tour was also great, we received a message with lots of photos taken on the day along with some really excellent recommendations for balls, clubs and restaurants that we could try again. We also communicated with a guide after the Tour as we wanted to visit one of the places again and he replied extremely promptly.. All in all, would 100% recommend. Great value too for everything included. A wonderful memory from our Vienna trip , thank you !
