Wow! We had so much fun with Katie (I’m like 99% sure that was her name) and Donner! She was so knowledgeable about the area, and her love for Donner shined through. I appreciated that she asked how we wished to proceed with our tour at the beginning. 5- STARS ⭐️ The time of day was perfect to get the sunset colors! I fell in love with Victoria on that ride.

Couldn’t see near as good since we did it at night, but the guide was great and the personal carriage was much better than the large horse drawn carriages with 20 people. 5 star

Relaxed taking in it charm of the manicured park as nature and wildlife was shown the peacocks were quite interesting the beautiful flowers I had a genuinely kind young lady share some of the details. As I was thinking, stepping in the past, as the future move so forward, it was nice to relax and be cared for and learn.

Checking into the event was easy. Questions prior to the event were addressed and answered in a timely manner. We met our horse, MacIntosh and driver Nakita…..they were a great match!! The carriage was a bit tight for a party of 5, but we managed. Nakita was a local and very knowledgeable about the area. I would highly recommend the tour!!!

The cart was so dirty, and the front desk staff was so rude. I had to argue to get one of their only cart. But the woman who took us was nice. But I would recommend everyone to go with tally ho tours as there hoarse carriage is so beautiful

Depending on the day dress warm and ask for the roof down and hope you get Mac he is such a cool horse bring him some macintosh apples and it’s such a amazing experience to go through becon hill and see the heritage homes

Have always wanted to do this. Steffen was an excellent guide with loads of information. But you should send out better information on finding the place. We had to ask on our ship for help so we would find it on time since we were only in port for a short time. We had no idea it was so far from port. Thank goodness the guest services on Holland America let us know we needed to take a shuttle to town, and how to find it once in town.

Jasmine was a delightful tour guide and very informative as she guided our horse, Chris, around the park and neighborhood. While rainy, the carriage was covered and my wife and I enjoyed the tour.

The carriage ride was great. Thought that the ride would go by the face lady also stop to take a picture of totem pole and watering can . Overall very nice, our driver was great with her horse Zeke.

Came in on NCL Encore cruise which didn't allow us to depart ship until 8:30pm (suppose to be 8pm). Therefore the 9pm carriage ride was 50% in dark. Not Carriage company fault. Narration was good. Interesting little known facts told by driver. Chilly eve but they had blankets to offer for warmth. Would have enjoyed more in daylight as Beacon Hill Park isn't lite well as some advertisements falsely illustrate. Would recommend to others but do it in daylight so you can actually see all items talked about.

Excursion was late in departing which was a big negative as it became so dark that we couldn’t see much.
The excursion was cut 20 minutes as we were allowed to get off at the cruise terminal so that we didn’t have to walk back so far in the darkness. We couldn’t see much anyway so thus was our best option. Emma (driver) and Ike ( horse) were great!

The booking times didn’t match with Victoria carriage. The carriages old and ugly. The poor horses sick and mean.
