Ghostly Walks tours start in front of the Visitor Information Centre except during October. The Info Centre is on the Inner Harbour across from the Empress Hotel. Your guide will be wearing black.

This was an excellent ghost tour. I’ve been on dozens of ghost tours in multiple countries and Jill was one of the best storytellers I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to. My only regret was not having any Canadian cash for a well deserved tip. I only had 6 hours in Victoria and this was easily the best way to spend one of them. Highly recommended.

This was a really fun way to see a bit of downtown Victoria. Our guide, Asher, was friendly and delivered the stories with the appropriate spooky theatrics. Some of the stories were pretty gruesome (e.g. the failed hanging of a convicted murderer). Our 11-year-old has seen some horror movies and enjoyed the tour, but it might be a bit much for some kids.

This was a fun, historical tour of the downtown area with of course some ghostly stories of the empress hotel and Roger’s chocolates

Great way to see Victoria in the evening and learn of its ghostly history. I wish our tour guide would narrate audiobooks! His tales and way of storytelling was a highlight for our visit! I wished the evening was longer so I could see and learn more.

We're pleased that you found Fiona's storytelling engaging. Our Ghostly Walks tours focus on the haunted stories of Victoria's past but we do include some history to provide context for the stories. It's a delicate balance. For those who want more history we suggest they take one of our History Tours which are offered during the daytime.

Our guide was really great! She was very good at telling (spooky) stories and the history of the area. My husband and I learned a lot and had a fun time walking around listening to the ghost stories.

We attended the 7:30pm ghostly tour last night and both of us were left underwhelmed. Maybe our guide Jason was just not his best this evening? He seemed to lack interest.
Sorry to be a bummer but the walk didn’t captivate, spook, or really entertain us.
We’ve been on a different ghostly tour in San Francisco which was 10/10. This one a 2/10. Maybe it was just an off night?

Overly dramatic guide. With a guide with a Jewish first name one would think he wouldn't make a "joke" about a morgue come soap store. It was shocking!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We agree that this kind of “joke” is unacceptable. It happens to be true that back in the old days where the soap shop is presently located was once a morgue. However, you are right that it’s not a good idea to joke about that. We will have a word with our guides to make sure they are all following our code of conduct regarding cultural sensitivity.

Amazing experience if you enjoy history based tours! Got warm flashes through the tunnel and there were plenty of interesting stories that we heard, wish it was longer haha. Definitely recommend to soloists and families especially as it’s price friendly (at least for me as I was solo).

His commentary was all over the place difficult to follow . He commented he didn’t like his job and his wife would like to hear positive reviews when he got home.
I was looking forward to this experience as my sister and friends had been before and they rated it wonderful, but I did not get that impression very disappointing !

The walking trip with Asher was fabulous. He pointed out many things that I had not noticed during my walking trip around Victoria. He's a very jolly and personable fellow but kept the Fear Factor alive! ;-) I'll be looking more carefully as I'm walking today.
