This was a great tour! Andy was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Vancouver and where to sample a wide array of delicious foods. He was proactive and reached out in advance to make sure he could accommodate special dietary needs. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Andy did a phenomenal job of bringing us incredible food experiences! As a local I was very impressed with his knowledge of Victoria history and he showed me some delicious spots in the city that I didn’t even know existed! We went on a good pace and Andy made sure everyone was having a good time. We are thinking of doing the tour again and bringing our kids it was that good -10/10

We got to spend a full day in Victoria, BC, so having already coordinated my High Tea at The Empress this afternoon, I found a unique, fun food/history tour beforehand, run by Andy, the owner of A Taste of Victoria Food Tour.
There were about 10 people who started at Phillip’s Brewing & Malting Co., where we started with a sampling of their famous meatball sandwich (I had a vegetation chickpea sampling);
we meandered the Chinatown alleys and Market Square;
stopping at Friends & Family Bake, a Filipino bakery;
Chimac Korean Pub & Fried Chicken, a Korean chicken restaurant;
Shanzee’s Old Town, where we sampled some divine biscuits & grits;
and even got some fresh Matcha Lemonade at Just Matcha Tea Shop, ending the tour at Rogers’ Chocolate, a favorite of the late Queen Elizabeth…and varies the stops somewhat based on the grout and the day, having about 13 businesses he likes to coordinate and promote

Andy was a wonderful guide! His history walking tour was informative about Victoria in brief and fun narratives. And his food vendors were delicious! Definitely more than enough food for a meal and then some! For a fun 2-hour walking and eating tour, I would definitely recommend Andy and his tour.

Andy’s tour was one of the highlights of our girls weekend in Victoria. Fast paced with lots of great history and local information. We met a couple of women who also took the tour and they also thought it was fantastic! Would highly recommend!

My husband and I, along with our 11-year-old granddaughter, loved all the food and enjoyed the information about the history. Andy, the tour guide, was very kind, entertaining and made the tour lots of fun.

Our guides name was Andy and we had an excellent time with him. He took us to amazing places for a mix of bites to eat from sweet to savory. At each of the restaurants Andy had each of the chefs come out to explain the dish and give a short talk about there restaurants. As we moved from restaurant to restaurant we crossed through a variety of various different ally’s, Andy giving us a history of the ally’s background. Overall we had bites of meatballs, biscuits and gravy, Korean fried chicken, Philippino sweet bread and amazing Matcha drink. We had a great tour!

Absolutely recommend! Lots of great food and interesting history. Andy did a great job being mindful and attentive to his guests, ensuring any dietary preferences were addressed. The walking was very doable, and a lot of fun to see the alleys and Chinatown. Be sure to get his list of recommended places at the end of the tour so you can check out a couple more! Perfect length with about 6 stops. Was awesome!

Great food choices! It was my husband’s birthday and Andy took us to a small family bakery and we all sang happy birthday and they gave him a treat to take along! The history was fascinating and we got to try things we would have missed without his guidance and knowledge!
We try to do a food tour in every new place we go and this was one of my favorites!
