Andy was a very knowledgeable & entertaining guide. He shared stories and answered questions about Victoria. We participated in macha tea service, had meatballs, chocolates, chicken and Filipino pastry. Really enjoyed the walk & tastes.

This a two hour walking tour with an easy, relaxed pace, lots of delicious food, and plenty of interesting stories about the history of Victoria. The time absolutely flew; it was so much fun! Andy clearly puts so much hard work and care into designing the tour and building relationships with those working in Victoria’s food industry. Andy also did a great job making sure the vegetarian in our group always had something delicious to eat along with the rest of us. It was so special to try so much of the amazing food the city has to offer and to meet the people providing it! I would recommend this tour to anyone who likes to eat!

We take food tours all around the world and this was one of the best. No surprise, as we learned Andy, the owner operator, and sole employee, has taken food tours in 52 countries! He is a student of this craft for sure, and also a lifelong local and student of his own land. Andy has a beautiful relationship with the town and vendors to such an extent that when our harbour boat captain asked us what else we had done in Victoria his eyes lit up like a million stars when we said we took the food tour with Andy. The harbour boats don’t serve food, Andy is just known and loved! His knowledge of the history and food culture is so deep. The stops were fabulous and we ate a TON of food.

Andy is an excellent guide; he's sharing the highlights of his own neighborhood with his clients. He knows his vendors personally and invites the vendors and participants to interact. This is perhaps our 10th international food tour. And, the amount of food was by far tge most we've received. Every type of food, from sweet to savory. Our guide was very amusing and we learned a lot about the area. Highly recommend. If u go during lunch, you'll be full.

This is a must do when visiting Victoria! We’ve done many good tours and Andy’s is the best so far. Not only does he share very interesting information, the food is great. Meeting the vendors and hearing directly from them made the tour feel personal.

Andy was an exceptional guide. Upbeat, knowledgeable, and humorous. The pace was relaxing and took us to areas and establishments we wouldn’t have found on our own. The food choices were mostly excellent; especially the ube bun stop! We are inspired to do more food tours when traveling. Great experience!

Andy was friendly and fun. The tour was full of great food and catered for vegan and vegetarian options.
I liked the alley ways and knowledge that was shared.
Top tip- eat light to prepare for the tour!
Good shoes and a jacket recommended. It’s a slow and steady pace to cater for everyone.

We were 4, 2 kids and 2 adults. Our 9 year old son is a very picky eater. Our daughter is 12. The tour felt the right amount of time. We were definitely full by the time we were done. The food was really well chosen. I honestly liked everything. My son who honestly I thought would hate most things actually enjoyed quite a few of the foods. It was such a relief because I was quite worried. The food had something for everyone. There was a good mix of sweet and savoury. I definitely recommend doing this before you do anything else in Victoria as Andy had such great information and there was so many good ideas on food and other things to do. The walk was not too much as a there was enough stops that we didn't get tired.
