Great tour
Brenda was exceptional but surprised that we never had Chinese food . Never assume on a food tour . We had Mexican, Indian French fries, Japanese snack, vegetarian etc…

10/10 would go again
This was a great food forward experience! Wonderful food, great stories about the owners and chefs, great guide. Pretty easy walk, very nice variety and plenty of food!! Have a very very light breakfast if you take a morning tour, you’ll need room for everything!!!

Lots of food on this tour - it was a big lunch
There's a LOT of good food sampled during the tour and you won't come away hungry.
Eric did a great job helping us appreciate the Entrepreneurs and their passion for food. I had never had most of the treats before and am not really a foodie, but they were all delicious, especially the purple yam Philippino Ube.

Ask for Erik!
Erik was a great guide. Knowledgeable, personable, enthusiastic. His connection with vendors was obvious as we were welcomed into every business.

Great Experience
Great way to find spots you might otherwise miss. Erik has great background stories for each establishment we visited. It is a good amount of food, so come hungry!

If you are going to do a food tour in Victoria, this is the one to do! We stopped at 7 different locations and had a variety of different foods with great stories about the restaurants chosen. Come hungry as you will leave full!

Highly recommend!
Great food tour with a lot of information and food packed into a short amount of time! We did not feel overly full at the end and appreciated all the different types of food to try. Eric is knowledgeable and obviously has good rapport with the restaurants.

A Great Start to Our Visit!
An easy walk, fun & informative, with a great sampling of foods (don’t eat beforehand). As it was our first day in Victoria, we got a little bit oriented, found a few places to circle back to and met some lovely folks! Erik our guide, was funny, knowledgeable, and passionate about food, the city - and featuring small businesses. We loved it!

Memorable Food Tour in Victoria
The four of us in our group hit the jackpot when we went on the hidden Victoria food tour with our guide, Erik. As a former chef, Erik was full of insights into all of the places he took us and obviously had close relationships with all of the chef/owners and employees of the establishments. Somehow, we lucked into having a tour with just the four of us, and never were at a loss for words with Erik’s stories, tales of the restaurant business, and vignettes about the history of Victoria. We sampled cuisines from Mexico, India, China, Thailand, sipped carrot sour ale at a brewery while enjoying Nanaimo bars, and finished our tour at Block with delicious bites and cocktails. (Everything was included but the cocktails.) We skipped lunch, took the 3 PM tour, and skipped dinner as we had enough to satisfy us for the rest of the evening. Ask for Erik! He made the experience extra special. Recommend without hesitation.
