Our whale watching trip.

If your trip was as good as ours then you will love it. We saw about 30 whales, 2 large eagles, lots of sea lions and seals. We chose the large boat with 50% cabin and 50% oudoor so that we had the best of both and extra stabability. There are 2 toilets and a limited range of refreshments served by request. The crew are extremely knowledgeable and point out everything. A professional photographer took photos durning the trip which are shared FREE OF CHARGE after the trip .... a lovely memory. We were blessed by calm seas and sunny weather. At the base there are several places to grab a takeaway and eat it on outdoor benches. Your ticket gives you 10% off food & drinks at 6 outlets. We would recommend this trip and would rebook because each trip can be in other areas. You also get a 20% discount if you are a repeat customer. The company donates large amounts of ££ $$ to wildlife conservation.

Great Afternoon!

The Victoria Half-Day Whale Watching Tour was a great experience. We had beautiful weather for our 3 hour tour. The Prince of Whales office is right on the inner harbor so was easy to locate. The crew was helpful and fun. Three Naturalists were on our boat, Rhiannon, Lauren and Andrei took questions from anyone who asked. They also explained how the crew was looking for the wildlife. This made the tour interesting. Captain Richard and First Mate Taylor watched carefully for all wildlife . This is important for the safety of all the critters and helped us locate them. Definitely put this trip on your must do list!

Amazing

Absolutely spectacular. We saw orcas on the hunt, humpback whales breaching, a ton of sea lions and even a bit of sunshine. My advice, however, is to leave the phone camera - no matter how good it is advertised - at home and invest and invest in a quality camera and lens. Otherwise, a brilliant experience and value for money

Definitely recommend this experience. Sarah, our captain and guide was great and highly knowledgeable in marine life. The boat is fast and a fun ride. The wet suit they provide is great and keeps you warm and dry. We saw around 5 killer whales and two humpback whales up close. If you can tolerate a cold breeze and some sea water splashing on you, this will be the best whale watching excursion you will do.

Best Whale Watching Boat in Victoria

This was by far the very best Whale Watching trip we have ever been on. We have gone on tours in Oregon & Hawaii, but never saw the amount of whales and different types, plus all the sea lions! they were huge. The crew are very knowledable and mwke the trip quite interesting. Plus they share their photos with you at no extra charge. I wouldn't go with anyone else.

Enjoyable hike

Beautiful walk, not difficult. Our guide, Alan, was informative about the trees, history of the area and its indigenous people and how they used the bark of the trees. He was incredibly helpful to me, navigating parts of the path more difficult for me ( mobility issues), lending a hand and arm. He was a very nice man.
