Perfect Day in Victoria
Absolutely amazing whale-watching tour! This was by far the most informative tour I’ve ever been on. We learned so much about the whales and their behavior, and I especially loved that they recorded the sounds the whales were making underwater — such a unique and fascinating experience!
We were incredibly lucky to see so many killer whales just within about five minutes of leaving the harbor. We also saw humpback whales, sea lions, and seals. It was truly an amazing day and an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone who loves wildlife and wants to learn while enjoying an incredible adventure on the water!

Arrive 30 mins before...
Arrive 30 mins before departure and depending on time of year best to get early morning flight as planes are not air conditioned. If you are first in line the captain may allow you to take the copilot seat. Great way to see the surrounding coastal areas.!

Best whale tour in town!!!
Captain Raj is amazing. We had so much fun on their new zodiac. The experience was really great.
I was concerned about the chop on the ocean because of a back injury I've been recovering from. But the seawave seats are super shock absorbing and I never once felt like the boat was jarring.

Great whale watching experience
Fantastic experience- would recommend. We had a double decker boat. Great indoor seating area with floor to celling window that stayed miraculously clean despite being on the ocean. Great outdoor viewing areas on both levels in the front and the back of the boat. Wildlife guides in each of these areas to help talk about the wildlife we saw and answer questions. Also included hot drinks (coffee, hot chocolate) which was clutch for standing out on the decks when it got windy. We saw multiple whales and some fighting seals. Was honestly a great time. Would recommend bringing something that breaks the wind (like a rain jacket) in addition to your normal layers- makes standing outside an option!

Worth It
We had an amazing experience with Orca Spirit as Josh the Captain lead us to some excellent locations. Before our trip out, there was a pod of 5 Orcas in the Inner Harbour. There was a lot of activity with a pod of Orcas sharing/celebrating a big kill and we even caught a breech. We then were witness to couple of Humpbacks doing deep dives and showing us their massive tails. Sealions galore at Race Rocks ... Plug your nose lol. Josh was very informative and a fantastic guide.

I want to see Orcas.... Check!!
Great experience!! My goal was to see Orcas, we accomplished that within the first 45 minutes of the tour. We were able to follow a pod of 5 orcas for about 20 minutes. Our naturalist on board was Liam, he cracked me up. He answered all of our questions, no matter how dumb, and gave us really great information about all the different types of animals and fish we may see. We also saw a humpback whale, harbor seals with a baby, and an elephant seal. Once we saw the orcas, to me, everything else was gravy. They also provide you with professional pictures taken by their staff on your tour at no additional charge!!!! This is great customer service, it let us focus on seeing things with our eyes instead of through a stupid cell phone camera.

Local approved!
The guide, Tyco, was friendly and accommodating. The wineries were beautiful and welcoming, the wines diverse and intriguing, the packed, tiffin tin lunch delicious. We didn’t feel rushed at all, and yet we covered a lot of ground. A truly enjoyable day, even for a local ;)

Enjoyable hike
Beautiful walk, not difficult. Our guide, Alan, was informative about the trees, history of the area and its indigenous people and how they used the bark of the trees. He was incredibly helpful to me, navigating parts of the path more difficult for me ( mobility issues), lending a hand and arm. He was a very nice man.
