Not one species of whale but two! Plus baby bald eagles!
The staff are very upbeat and accommodating and knowledgeable! I booked this whale watching trip to treat myself because it was my birthday! We first got word there were some humpback whales so we went and watched them play for a while a mother and a baby and an older male whale, and then after a while, we zoomed over to another area where there were quite a few orcas, and our guide felt that they were actually hunting at the time! They did a bunch of great out of water appearances, and it was an amazing day with fabulous weather as well! One of the staff had also spotted a bald eagle nest so on the way back, we checked that out and actually saw two baby bald eagles, which was an extra treat! Well worth the money. :)

Great Tour Plus Photos are Included!
Great tour. We’re able to see plenty of humpbacks and orcas. Natural commentary was excellent and they even knew the orca families we were watching. Included hot chocolate was delicious - had three servings. Plus they take excellent photos that are included free of charge. This was a great value and will do again when in Victoria.

Super fun spotting whales and seals!
A great time finding humpback whales, harbor seals and bald eagles in May! Josh and Amanda were our captains and were super friendly, positive and knowledgeable about marine wildlife. They kept us aware of what they were doing and how far we’re legally able to get to whales; you can tell they love their jobs. It looks like they have different sized boats as well to tailor it to the size of their groups; there was only 6 in mine so we had a smaller boat that went fast - so fun! Highly recommend!

Best boat weather
We had amazing weather at the end of May, so the boat was extremely enjoyable. Staff and our captain at the Prince of Whales were kind and helpful. We saw a few bald eagles, sea lions, seals, and even got very close enough to a pod of orcas to hear them breathe out their spout when they can l came to the surface!
