This was a great experience. We had a two person crew. One was giving us a great narration of all of the sights and she was so knowledgeable. The other was at the reins steering our horse Moose. I so wish i remembered their names.

It was an amazing experience that everyone should try out atleast once in their lifetime. We went around Beacon hill Park and it was pretty cool to see the scenery surrounding the park.

Extremely knowledgeable, very nice and professional hosts and riders. Elia and Bunni told us the history of the city throughout the experience. They also care a lot about the horses which makes us feel very comfortable to know they are treated well.

A very enjoyable experience. Next time I would like to ride at night, with lamplight on. The horse was friendly and reliable, and the rider was very knowledgeable about the locality.

The carriage ride and the young lady that directed the horse ( Jerry) was great! We did run into a booking time delay. My tickes where for 1pm and booth had 1:15, not a huge problem but we had another commitment and we had already arrived 15 mins early.

Absolutely the best way to get an overview of Victoria! So much fun to see everything from the horse and carriage-our driver/guide was so knowledgeable about the history of the city and told us so many fun and fascinating stories, we just had a great time! Quaint way to see Victoria. This was our only tour for this port. Headed to the meeting location well before our designated start time so we would know where to go. At their suggestion, we took an earlier tour. Great way to see parts of local area that you may not necessarily see on your own. Tyler, our guide/driver was friendly and knowledgeable. King, our horse was kind and gentle. Enjoyed the relaxing ride before we headed to lunch at a place Tyler suggested and then some shopping before heading back to the ship.

Our family has been involved with the Tally-Ho for over 40 years and we are passionate about what we do - and more importantly, how we do it. We are glad to know our care and respect for our horses shines through.
Our herd of over 20 draft horses are part of our family and we have an amazing team of people who work tirelessly to ensure they are living their best lives. The horses use less than 20% of their physical capacity pulling the lightweight carriages, and each horse works less than 3 months throughout the year. They live with us on our farm, about 20 minutes outside Victoria. They live in herds to support their social needs; have a team of amazing farriers who are at the farm twice a week to provide balanced hoof care; are overseen by an equine-specialist veterinarian that advises on feed, care and comfort; have chiropractic and massage practioners; and a life-long Tally-Ho "pension plan" for their retirement years. Their health and care are at the forefront of everything we do, and we are so lucky to share our lives with them!

Generally the relaxation of the carriage ride and the beauty of the area ..our driver .. I believe her name was Kyla..? And Maize the sweet beautiful horse .. the time went by so fast and we were able to see a lot of the city this way since we didn’t have alot of time in Victoria ..

Our carriage ride was fantastic!!! Red, our horse, was such a gentleman and took great care of us! Fran was an excellent guide. She had a lot of knowledge of the area and great, funny stories. She takes a lot of pride in her home town and we could see why! It was a very windy day, but it did not take away from the experience. Highly recommend!
