This ride was the best thing that happened to us on our 10 day cruise. We were joined by new friends we met on the ship. The carriage was delightful and the tour guide very informative and personable. It was the perfect ending to our cruise.

Our Guide was absolutely wonderful, Hannah! Even though we had been on other tours within the city, Hannah added so much more to this experience with her extreme knowledge and experience. We learned many new things while enjoying a beautiful ride in a carriage, guided by our gorgeous horse Donner!

Our tour was the perfect amount of history without any forced, awkward humor or over-talking. We learned a lot from our knowledgeable and capable guide, Sophia. Everyone in our crew, from ages 12-73, thoroughly enjoyed the tour and views of the city it provided.

Juliet was a wonderful guide. Unfortunately, the carriage lost a rubber about 30 minutes into our 75 minute experience and needed to return to the “Pit”. Thankfully, we were able to return to our ship directly from the horse station. We were offered additional time after the horse could be transferred to another carriage, but were were worried about getting back to the ship in time.

When I book the trip, it said there was room for six. When we arrived, the carriage would only hold four. They did not offer any explanation or compensation so two of our party members had to go find something else to do because they also would not offer a refund on anything booked through Viator.
Additionally, nothing on the agenda was covered and due to a parade in town they dropped us off in a completely different location in a city we’d never been to before. Do not recommend.

We had a great time on our carriage ride. McKayla was so informative and gave us great insights to the city we knew nothing about. Warm blankets were so helpful because it was quite cool and windy that night. It’s a beautiful city and a perfect relaxing tour near everything!

There was a mistake with the timing of our reservation which was completely my fault, but the company was extremely accommodating and made sure we got our tour and got back to our cruise ship on time. Our driver (I wish I remember her name, she was with Macintosh the horse) did an excellent job giving us historical information mixed with funny anecdotes about Victoria while multi tasking driving the carriage around a route they don’t normally take. Highly highly recommend!

We had a great time on our 75-minute royal tour. Hannah was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable and friendly. And of course Barney, our horse, was adorable. A great way to shuffle around Victoria and see some of the sites!

Unfortunately it was raining but our driver provided well for that. Rode through the park and charming architectural neighborhoods. Provided good historical info but you do not go into the bay area or city streets. We enjoyed our driver correcting her horse (was a little stubborn). We would have appreciated it if the driver had a microphone as could not hear her when she talking forward. Otherwise it was an enjoyable ride and something a little different.

Victoria was our last stop on our Alaskan cruise and thought this would be a nice ending. Emma was very informative on the history of Victoria. It was a very nice tour.

Our cruise ship was only in port for a few hours, so we made the best of it with this tour. Our tour guide did a great job of showing us all the highlights of this beautiful city. We love the slow intimate feel of a carriage ride through the park and town. Never get tired of that sound. We would recommend this excursion to our friends.

Viator never advanced the booking to the vendor, so they did not have a carriage for us when we arrived. We had a confirmation from Viator but their system did not sync with vendor. 5 days later, still waiting for promised refund!

We received information on where and when we were to meet, but the company was unaware of our tour. None the less, they quickly adapted and were able to accomodate us. I had told viator we had a walker but the carraige does not have space for one so it had to stay between our legs. Despite these problems, the tour itself was very enjoyable. our driver/guidewas pleasant and well informed. We had a leisurely tour of the central downtown area. Combined with an afternoon Van tour of Victoria and Butchart Gardens we had a great introduction to Victoria.

Relaxing and enjoying the views. Driver was well knowledgeable on the area. Always call direct to confirm your location. Don’t count on the app. Came in on a cruise had only 4 hrs in Victoria. Hoped a taxi to location and a taxi back to port. We saw more than other cruisers that just walked.

The company did not have our reservation from Viator. We were only in Victoria for a few hours from a cruise, and they were unable to accommodate or help us. The owner gave me a long story about how this happens with a small percent of reservations from Viator and they’ve had this issue for years and it’s a problem with the software. Honestly I don’t care what the issue is- they need to handle it so customers don’t experience this.
The owner told me she was unable to process a refund so I have to handle that with Viator. Overall, a disappointing and bad experience. I would not recommend them at all.

We picked the option for the historical tour. Was amazing the amount of history they had to tell, and so funny to learn about the superstitious history and why they built houses the way they did. Beautiful park ride and wild animals.

We had a wonderful time with our guide Olivia and horse Elsie taking us around the city. There were four of us and the carriage was comfortable. We chose to have Olivia tell us some history and the tour did not disappoint. Highly recommend.

We loved the 75 minute tour. We were given the option for a full talking tour, an only the highlights taking tour, or the guide would be quiet. I appreciated the offer to engage at whatever ce level you preferred. Our guide knew a ton about the area including famous artists. She also knew a lot about the horses. Couples and families will love this!
