I am writing this review to tell others about our experience with this carriage tour company on August 7, 2026. We had high expectations for this ride as a final excursion for our Alaskan cruise, but it turned out to be a deeply frustrating and unprofessional experience. The issues began before we even started. Our tour was scheduled for 9:30 PM, but we didn’t actually depart until 10:00 PM due to staffing issues and the driver taking a personal break.
The quality of the tour itself was well below standard. Like other reviewers have mentioned, our guide took us thru residential areas of no value and communication was also a major issue as she mainly spoke while facing forward making it impossible for half of our group to hear her commentary. The entire tour was additionally ruined by the driver’s constant, repetitive, and loud attempts to force the horse to move faster, which created a very unpleasant atmosphere. We reached out to the company directly to address these concerns and request a refund which he refused to do sighting company policy. I felt it was important to share this experience. I would strongly recommend looking for a different tour provider if you are visiting the area.

Over half of the tour was residential areas. This was ok, but I’d prefer to see more of the city highlights.

Loved it!! Love that the driver gave us the option to either have a guided tour of Victoria, or we could choose to just sit and talk. We opted for the tour and I am so glad we did! Our driver was super knowledgeable and provided a lot of information about Victoria. Highly recommend

We didn’t get off the ship on time-an hour later we finally got off-when we arrived for our carriage ride they got us right on!! Jenna was a delight-and Mac was amazing trotting us around!!

Izzy the rider, was super nice and told us the whole story of Victoria. Izzy was patient and lovely, as was Moon her horse. We had a great night tour. I will definitely recommend

Our delightful tour guide, Hannah, shared fun and fascinating stories about almost everything we passed, at the same time as expertly jockeying an ancient Percheron and carriage through busy streets. Very impressive and a very entertaining ride overall.

This tour was not as good as I hoped it would be , first the voucher called to confirm 48 hrs before of which I did and then confirmed 24 hrs before just to make sure , so it's the day of and I wanted to confirm in person only to find out that the person I talked ( Emily) to didn't confirm
