Both guides we had were amazing! The lady…I want to say Anne? Was absolutely hilarious!! We went on a Saturday which was obviously busier than a weekday traffic wise and there’s some protest downtown which messes up traffic big time. All in all we would do it again!

If you're a first time visitor to Victoria this is a great way to get a feel for the city's popular sites. You can do the whole ride then go back to those you want to spend time at or hop off at one & catch a later bus to the next spot that grabs your interest. The bus is comfy & the narration was interesting & humorous.

Our cruise ship landed in Victoria for about six hours, so having this tour was well worth it. Our driver Brian, was wonderful. He was friendly and informative throughout the whole tour.

The hop on hop off was a great idea if it did exactly what they stated. Wait times were extremely long, waiting almost 90 for a ride at some stops. Worse part was when the driver Hummingbird didn’t even stop to pick us up one time. Just lift her hands in a motion of “oh well” while she drove past the stop with no hesitation. She also made it really clear that she was in vacation mode when we first joined her and kept insisting that we donate to her vacation fund, aka give her a tip, plus made it awkward that she was running late and kept saying “this day is screwed up.” Overall, I suggest not booking with them, unless you like long wait times, want hear about the importance of tips and someone’s true opinion on topics that shouldn't be shared.

We only did tour without getting off due to time constraints, but it the open air top and guide/driver were excellent. We got to see much of Victoria and learn quite a bit.

Brian McDonald was the most courteous and engaging driver I’ve ever seen, and I’ve done HoHo on 20 cities. He represents Victoria and HoHo well. Hop on his bus and you’ll love the city tour. Only downside was the eastern stops. Could’ve done without those.

Because the bus was packed with passengers from a cruise ship, nobody could hop on so it was simply a bus tour.

These tours provide a great way to see a city and decide where you want to spend some extra time. Our group took the entire 90 minute tour then hopped on/hopped off to spend more time at a couple of stops, including snacks and some Guinness at a nice Irish pub. Our last stop was conveniently located near the cruise ship dock so we could spend a bit more time in the city without worrying about transportation back to the ship.

Enjoyed the narratives as we were going along the routes. I would suggest that the bus operator narrate a little louder. People are going to talk on the bus as they see beautiful sites that's inevitable. To be told not to speak is ridiculous. I'm also a little concerned that I bought this trip for my family (4 people) thinking it was 24 hours. We were at the Port until 11:30 but had to leave and go back at 5:30 because that was the last bus. The advertisement is misleading.

The ride itself was pretty good and the driver was very nice. My problem was that I was getting conflicting information online about how long the tickets were valid for and whether or not we had to check in at the Empress. I called them at least 6 times and sent several messages over the course of 2 days, and never got a response. Still haven't gotten a response, but it's over now so it doesn't matter.

Not worth it. Customer service didn't get back to Inquiry until over 24 hours after booking. Driver was kind but customer service is very delayed so do not expect to get any resolutions.
