It was beautiful and there were stick animals along the way that were cute! The slide was a little faster than I expected, but would do it again! There was also a gift shop that had a lot of cute little items. Would recommended!
Fun experience for the whole family! We are 65+ and enjoyed the walk, the spectacular view and the slide back down!
This was an incredible thing to do with our granddaughter we had an amazing time. Good for all ages.
This skywalk is a marvel in construction. The walk to the Tower is built in the forest. You feel like you are on the canopy of the forest. The climb up is gradual and very comfortable. Our fifteen year old loved the slide about ten stories up! He went down three times. The views from above are spectacular! Highly recommend this activity. Earlier is best; it gets busy quickly.
Don’t miss the slide! Super fun. Mellow walk up a ramp with great views. If you can get over your fear of heights, you can look over the clear railing up top, look down the clear floor or walk across the cabled floor.
Amazing experience. Very easy, scenic walk to the ‘tower’, even with strollers. Also easy walk to the top. There are three options (included): walking out onto small glass platform; walk onto large elastic floor with slight bounce, and/or slide down a tube (much of the way down). I tend to fear heights and enclosed spaces but had NO trouble doing all of these. We are in our 70s and enjoyed everything as much as the kids around us. There was also a bird (raptor?) talk and demonstration. Staff was very helpful and encouraging. Plan to spend about 1 1/2 hours to enjoy.
The views are fantastic. Such a beautiful area
Be sure to wear long sleeves. I was brave and went down the slide but got off balance on the first right hand turn and got a couple minor skin burns
Our family was visiting from the US, and we decided to do this mid-day. The hike was amazing. The views were incredible. The walk along the path was easy despite the weather being slightly hot. The slide down was super fun!!! The free activities were good for kids. Highly recommend it.
This experience was everything it said it would be, boardwalk walk through the trees, spiral incline up and amazing views along the way! Be adventurous and take the slide down, it was worth it!!
This is a unique experience. Beautiful views. Just happy we got there early before the crowds and before the rain. It was a cloudy day but still very cool. We did rent a car rather than take a tour bus.
Super cool place. Amazing views. You can do this quick or spend your time doing some of the activities throughout the property.
This was a very unique and fun experience! It’s a beautiful structure in a gorgeous location offering stunning views of the Canadian landscape just a few minutes outside Victoria. We also enjoyed the hidden natural artwork along the path to the skywalk, and fun spiral slide down! The free shuttle bus service was excellent as well. Highly recommend!

Thank you for the sky-high review! 🌲✨
We’re so happy you enjoyed every part of your adventure~ from the breathtaking views and the beauty of the structure itself to the little surprises hidden along the path. We love that you discovered the natural artwork (those woodland gems are waiting to be found!) and finished your visit with a little spiral-slide fun. 😄
We’re also thrilled to hear the shuttle service helped make your experience smooth and easy. 🌿 Hope to see you again soon!
The views from the top are amazing, really a magical experience. If you are afraid of heights be aware, you’ll experience fear at the top especially if you decide to walk over the net or take a selfie at the glass cube
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for sharing your magical SkyWalk experience! 🌲✨ We’re so glad you enjoyed the incredible views from the top ~ they truly are something special.
For our brave explorers who venture onto the glass cube or the net, we know there can be a few “butterflies in the tummy” moments… and that’s all part of the adventure! 😄 We love helping guests create unforgettable memories!
Thanks for visiting, we hope to welcome you back for another treetop adventure soon! 🌿
Very family friendly and accessible walk up to the top, with views all the way. The slide was the perfect way down. We enjoyed the icecream and diversions at the bottom as well.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for the wonderful review! 🌲✨ We’re so happy your family enjoyed the journey from the forest floor all the way to the treetops.
The gentle climb, ever-changing views, and that “just one more look” feeling at the top are all part of the adventure! 😄 We love that you finished your visit with a thrilling slide down, a sweet treat, and some extra exploring at the bottom.
Thanks for joining us for a day of family fun among the trees! 🌿
Excellent, Beautiful. Do Luke’s walk on the way back if you have younger children. Downside: very expensive.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for your lovely review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your visit and appreciated the beautiful scenery. Thanks also for sharing your tip about taking Luke's Lane on the way back, it's a great alternative route for families with younger children.
We also appreciate your feedback about pricing. We understand that value is an important part of any visit, and we're always working to provide a memorable experience that our guests feel is worth the investment.
Thank you again for visiting, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure in the future!

It was fun for both adults and kids. Didn't go down the slide i was too chicken to do that lol. Loved the wooden shinny sculptures you see some randomly on the trees. Went with my husband and his mum, going up wasn't so hard as I thought it would. But the view was beautiful 😍. Over we all enjoyed it, the only thing I feel they should have don better was the exit, there were no signs wasn't sure what way to take to go back to our car so we had to take the bridge back again.
Response from Host, Jul 2026
Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad to hear you, your husband, and his mum all had a great time and enjoyed the beautiful views and our wooden sculptures along the trail. Don't worry, you certainly aren't the first person to give the slide a pass! 😊
Thank you as well for your feedback about the exit signage. We understand this may not have been clear during your visit, and we'll share your comments with our team as we continue looking at ways to improve our signage and make navigating the exit easier.
Thanks again for visiting, and we hope to welcome you back for another adventure soon!

We really enjoyed our outing..just make sure to dress in layers for the weather as it changes quickly and have an umbrella.
Staff very friendly. Glad there was a concession and a place to sit under a umbrella😉.
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you, Linda for the kind words! We definitely suggest bringing an extra layer, and umbrella as our Vancouver island weather can be un predictable! We are so happy you enjoyed the skywalk, and hope to see you again soon.
-Meeghan, Guest Experience
Our experience was spectacular from start to finish. The views are panoramically beautiful and the walk itself is so easy for anyone. A truly unforgettable adventure!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Thank you for the very kind review! We are so glad you enjoyed our stunning views and scenery. We are very proud our experience is accessible to all different abilities. Hope to see you again!

Awesome experience! View is stunning. Be ready to walk to the skywalk from the front. We had 2 seniors with our family and they walked slow but they made it up there. Little activities for the kids along the way. And there’s a playground at the bottom along with other activities like the large jenka, corn hole and connect four. Plus snacks, drinks and ice cream! Nice experience!!
Response from Host, Jun 2026
Hi Mary, I am so happy you enjoyed our amazing views here at the Skywalk. We are very proud of our accessibility here, and that the whole family can enjoy the experience! We hope to welcome you again soon!

Viator was so easy to use and better cost compared to the actual site. Go early to beat the crowds and strong afternoon sun (no shade at the top). Beautiful views, got lucky with fantastic weather. Spent about an hour at the top soaking up the sun and admiring the views. Walked back to the welcome center on the trail through the trees; fun little hike - just be aware it’s longer than the treewalk, not paved/has loose gravel, and there are some inclines/declines. Didn’t have any treats or food, so can’t comment on that. Gift shop was cute.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the beautiful views and had such fantastic weather for your visit. Arriving early is definitely a great tip to help beat both the crowds and the afternoon sun.
It’s wonderful to hear you also enjoyed the forest trail back to the welcome centre. We appreciate you mentioning the loose gravel and elevation changes as that’s very helpful for future guests planning their walk.
We’re so glad you had a relaxing hour soaking in the scenery and enjoyed browsing through the gift shop as well. Thank you again for taking the time to share your experience, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!

Very beautiful and worth the trip. We did the free shuttle which was right on time (NOTE right on time…if it says depart at 9:10am it is pulling away at 9:10am,). I appreciate the bus schedule and enjoyed the smooth ride up and back. We were done in a little over an hour and enjoyed relaxing on chairs with amazing views until our return bus. The hang out over the side is super fun and the slide down is a must. Highly recommend this if visiting Victoria!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you, Todd, for the great review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the experience and found the shuttle service smooth and reliable and yes, our drivers do their best to stay right on schedule!
It’s wonderful to hear you had fun on the slide and the adventure features, and that you were able to relax and take in the amazing views before heading back. Thanks again for the recommendation, and we hope to welcome you back on your next visit to Victoria!

This was great. Had an issue opening the link for tickets, which was a viator issue not site issue and the site staff was super helpful and took care of finding the reservation and getting us in. Would like just buy direct next time.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you, Heidi, for your review! We’re sorry to hear there was an issue accessing your tickets, but we’re very glad our team was able to help get everything sorted out quickly so you could enjoy your visit.
We appreciate your feedback regarding the booking experience and are happy to hear our staff made a positive impression. Thanks again for visiting!
-Meeghan, Guest Experience
It was great! Definitely challenging to come down if you are scared of heights but luckily there is a slide 3 levels down from the top. Would recommend for the unqiue view!
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you, Tarish, for the great review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the experience and the unique views from the top. The slide is definitely a fun option for guests who want a different way down!
We appreciate you sharing your experience and hope to welcome you back again soon.
-Meeghan, Guest Experience
Great experience. Lovely stroll to the top great views and the slide was so fun! We went up twice to get to ride the slide down again. Then we sat and had a nice lunch by the fire.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for the thoughtful 5-star review! So glad that you enjoyed the view, had fun on the slide, and had a yummy lunch by the fire! We hope to see you again!
1. Eat before or picnic. Food choices extremely limited and expensive!
2. Misled about glass walkway-supposedly arriving spring 2026-doesn't look like construction has broken ground yet.
3. Trail coming back from tower isn't clearly marked. It is easy to mistake a service road for the trail because there is no "staff only" signs coming from the tower back to the lot.
4. The advertising makes it look like there's a trampoline at the top of the tower. There isn't and you need to prepare young kids that the net at the top is a walkway not a trampoline. 😡☹️.
5. Overall this is a beautiful attraction with lots of things to do for kids of all ages. Definitely worth the drive and you can easily spend 2-4 hours there. The slide in the middle is amazing! Staff is super friendly. Gorgeous views.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the views, slide, family activities, and friendly staff!
We also appreciate your comments regarding food options, trail signage, and expectations around the net and glass walkway. Guest feedback like yours helps us identify where we can improve the overall experience and communication for visitors. We’ll be sure to share your notes with our team.
Thanks again for visiting, and we hope to welcome you back in the future!
The walk on the "net" part is very scary but I was able to do it with the help of my boys (husband and son). Visitors should also try the slide going down. It was so much fun! I would love to go back and do the slide with my son one more time but going back up takes a lot of walking. Not that I'm too lazy to do it but because we had another itinerary to be at during that time. Overall, I highly recommend this to all who loves to try new things and to those people seeking for thrill. One of the must visits in Victoria, BC.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for the wonderful review! We love hearing that you challenged yourself on the Adventure Net and had so much fun on the slide, especially with the support of your family beside you. It’s great to know your visit was such a memorable and thrilling experience. We’d be delighted to welcome you back anytime for another ride down the slide!
Very nice experience at the skywalk. It was a cold day with low visibility and on/off rain when we arrived. Staff were very friendly in spite of the conditions. After gettong to top and sliding down the slide we had some hot chocolate/coffee which warmed us up. Then at the perfect time the sun popped out and opened up the view. We decided to walk to the top again which now had opened up the beautiful view with the dispersed clouds. Definitely worth your time to get there even with cold conditions.
Response from Host, Feb 2026
Thank you, Zachary — we’re so glad you took the walk with us. Loved hearing that you enjoyed the experience. We’ll share this with the team. Hope we get to welcome you back for another coastal forest-to-sky day soon.
—Claire, Guest Experience Team
This is a great place to spend the day. There is so much more than just the tower. Walking trails have been designed with the kids in mind. We especially liked the interactive games/puzzles along the path. The entire place was spotless, staff were friendly and very approachable. Overall a great place for the family.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you enjoyed exploring everything beyond the tower, especially the interactive games and puzzles along the trails. It’s great to hear our team helped make your visit memorable, and we truly appreciate your kind words about the cleanliness and family-friendly experience. Hope to welcome you back again soon!
Beautiful views and the structure itself was amazing! It was quite cold though so the slide didn’t slide….you had to push yourself through the whole way. Visited with my husband and my mom in her 70’s.
Response from Host, May 2026
Hello Aimmee, we are so glad that you enjoyed the beautiful view and tower! The slide speed tends to differ based on the temperature. We are so glad you were able to visit Malahat Skywalk with your husband and mom! We hope you guys are able to share the amazing experience together again!
Even on a foggy, rainy day it is worth it if you approach it in a spirit of adventure and curiosity. We are 60+ and we did the slide. I am from the PNW and even I learned something about alders on Luke's Trail. Everybody who worked there was friendly and welcoming and even though there had been a wind storm the night before everything was cleaned up and open.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for visiting us at Malahat Skywalk! We could not agree more, it is so worth it.. rain or shine!! We are so glad to hear that you enjoyed Lukes trail and the slide! Thank you again for visiting and we hope to see you back here again!!
