This is a great place to spend the day. There is so much more than just the tower. Walking trails have been designed with the kids in mind. We especially liked the interactive games/puzzles along the path. The entire place was spotless, staff were friendly and very approachable. Overall a great place for the family.

Great experience. Lovely stroll to the top great views and the slide was so fun! We went up twice to get to ride the slide down again. Then we sat and had a nice lunch by the fire.

    Come Prepared But Worth It

    JOSEPH_H, Apr 2026
    1. Eat before or picnic. Food choices extremely limited and expensive! 2. Misled about glass walkway-supposedly arriving spring 2026-doesn't look like construction has broken ground yet. 3. Trail coming back from tower isn't clearly marked. It is easy to mistake a service road for the trail because there is no "staff only" signs coming from the tower back to the lot. 4. The advertising makes it look like there's a trampoline at the top of the tower. There isn't and you need to prepare young kids that the net at the top is a walkway not a trampoline. 😡☹️. 5. Overall this is a beautiful attraction with lots of things to do for kids of all ages. Definitely worth the drive and you can easily spend 2-4 hours there. The slide in the middle is amazing! Staff is super friendly. Gorgeous views.

We love the view and the heights

    Juvenie_P, Apr 2026
The walk on the "net" part is very scary but I was able to do it with the help of my boys (husband and son). Visitors should also try the slide going down. It was so much fun! I would love to go back and do the slide with my son one more time but going back up takes a lot of walking. Not that I'm too lazy to do it but because we had another itinerary to be at during that time. Overall, I highly recommend this to all who loves to try new things and to those people seeking for thrill. One of the must visits in Victoria, BC.

    Beautiful views

Very nice experience at the skywalk. It was a cold day with low visibility and on/off rain when we arrived. Staff were very friendly in spite of the conditions. After gettong to top and sliding down the slide we had some hot chocolate/coffee which warmed us up. Then at the perfect time the sun popped out and opened up the view. We decided to walk to the top again which now had opened up the beautiful view with the dispersed clouds. Definitely worth your time to get there even with cold conditions.

Thank you, Zachary — we’re so glad you took the walk with us. Loved hearing that you enjoyed the experience. We’ll share this with the team. Hope we get to welcome you back for another coastal forest-to-sky day soon. —Claire, Guest Experience Team

    Enjoyment for all ages…

    Aimee_P, Dec 2025
Beautiful views and the structure itself was amazing! It was quite cold though so the slide didn’t slide….you had to push yourself through the whole way. Visited with my husband and my mom in her 70’s.

    Adventure and Curiosity

    Heidi_H, Dec 2025
Even on a foggy, rainy day it is worth it if you approach it in a spirit of adventure and curiosity. We are 60+ and we did the slide. I am from the PNW and even I learned something about alders on Luke's Trail. Everybody who worked there was friendly and welcoming and even though there had been a wind storm the night before everything was cleaned up and open.

A lovely little trip with spectacular views

    Christine_D, Nov 2025
Walking to the tower on a treetop boardwalk was a fascinating approach. The walk up the tower was gentle and scenic. It was a misty day and views were slightly obscured but that didn’t stop us enjoying the beautiful outlook, actually added an ethereal feel. The nature walk back to the start was also interesting and, like children, we had to hunt for, and found, all the animals!

    lot of fun

    Kathy_M, Nov 2025
was great experience . was easy to do the che k in with my service dogs. very nice staff. my husband said he loves the arbor chairs

    Unbelievable views

    Susan_B, Oct 2025
The views are breathtaking and the people are so friendly. The slide was quite an experience. If I lived here, I would get an annual pass.

    Beatiful view, fun place

    icgomez26, Oct 2025
Nice place, no too far from downtown victoria, fun place and beautiful view, i recomend to visit definitely

    Awesome! Do it!

    Caroline_R, Sep 2025
Ignore the people who said it’s a bumpy slide down. It is not! I am a 65+ woman who had back surgery two years ago and I had absolutely no problems coming down the slide. My husband enjoyed it so much that he climbed the tower two more times and slid down three times. He loved it. We really enjoyed the elevated walkway and the wood sculptures along the way are absolutely beautiful. We read all the informative slides and they were very helpful. The view from the top of the tower is magnificent. We were not expecting such a really enjoyable day. I recommend it for everyone. You will not regret it.

    Barbara_F, Sep 2025
It was an easy hike up, wonderful views, especially when you cleared the tree tops. A fun slide down.

Gotta do this even if afraid of heights

    Susan_C, Sep 2025
It is a nice walk, up very high. Beautiful view with the option to take a slide down. I managed to somehow tip over and hit my head on the way down, but would not have given up the experience for anything. I did call and check the website for Malahat. Good thing as the 1st pickup spot was not used. It was a very nice bus there and back complimentary from them.

    Great experience

    Amit_M, Sep 2025
Beautiful boardwalk followed by the actual structure. Walking net at the top as welll as slide to come down quickly

    Very nice surprise!

    Donna_a, Sep 2025
We did not know what to expect, and were pleasantly surprised at how much fun we had. The ride up to the Skywalk was beautiful and not too long. The short hike to the tower was very refreshing in the mountain air and the tower itself was impressive. We enjoyed the walk up the tower and the views from the top were absolutely spectacular.

What a view from the top!

    Lynn_T, Aug 2025
It is an amazing feat! Made of Douglas fir and steel. It rises up to the sky and provides incredible views! Some educational signs are throughout the area. Good exercise since you are walking the entire way from the parking lot to the trail leading to the skywalk area. Then up 10 levels from the ground. Highly recommend it!

    Don’t miss this!

    MindyL_O, Aug 2025
Loved it! Great to fill a few hours during your visit. Breathtaking scenery and the slide was a blast!!

    Amazing Views

    Mark_C, Aug 2025
Amazing views and cool experience. This is a must when in the area. I have done some difficult hikes to experience this type of view. This is an easy trek to the top.

    A walk with a view!

    Karen_C, Aug 2025
An awesome experience! Walking among the tree tops in a beautifully constructed boardwalk and an easy spiral walk to the top of the skywalk structure - plenty if room for everyone. The views were spectacular and the slide ride to the bottom was a blast - fun was had by all!

    Exceptional tourist...

    Colleen_K, Aug 2025
Exceptional tourist attraction. For all abilities. The walk up, the views and then the slide down (which is optional).

Malahat Skywalk fun but not worth the price of admission

    Brenda_T, Jul 2025
We enjoyed walking on the elevated boardwalk to the Spiral Tower (we did the return hike on the forest floor). One highlight of our visit was viewing the driftwood sculptures by artist Tanya Bub. The view from atop the Spiral Tower was nice; however, it was extremely windy at the top. The tower is definitely not for people who are afraid of heights. I thought that I would be adventurous and take the slide down to the bottom; however, beware, this is not a good decision if you have back or neck issues. Every joint (there are lots) inside the slide was felt on the way down! And, you are travelling quite fast. Ouch! Overall, the admission fee is too high for what the visit entails. Also, the price for food and ice cream what ridiculously high.

    Very unsatisfactory service

    Rogelyn_B, Jul 2025
We have a pick up location at 9:30 for our tour but no one showed up. The tour operator never responded to any text or call. We had to find an alternate transportation. DO NOT GET SCAMMED. Do not believe this company. It’s our first time to book here but I will NEVER do it again ever!!

    Response from Host, Jul 2025

Hi, We're sorry to hear about the inconvenience you experienced. I’d appreciate the chance to follow up directly and help ensure your visit ends on a better note. Please feel free to reach me at harrison.gray@malahatskywalk.com.

Be careful which company you book with

    Trish_M, Jun 2025
When booking on line, thoroughly check about the free shuttle offered. We waited almost 2 hours for the pick-up. Finally the information centre advised it only runs on weekends until end of June when daily service begins. Consequently, we never got to the skywalk and I'm left with 2 unused tickets. Very quick to sell tickets but you have to delve deep on the website to pick up the shuttle schedule, had I known would never have purchased what is now useless tickets.

    Christine_M, Jun 2025
Recommend exploring the park and for sure the slide. try a short hike on the way back for a little nature.

    Wow a must do

    Luis_P, Jun 2025
Be prepared to be amazed The views are spectacular The people are great! If you can go in later June for free shuttle However it’s a nice drive

    Amazing view

    Susan_F, Jun 2025
Amazing views. Loved that they have a free shuttle bus to take you there. The slide would be fun for children of all ages

    Take the long way back

    Mark_O, May 2025
Absolutely breathtaking views and a lot of fun. When you leave the tower, don't return on the boardwalk like I saw so many people. Take the "Luke's trail", very enjoyable scenic trial

    Never made it

    Chris_C, May 2025
There are no free busses on weekdays only on weekends if we wanted to get a taxi it would have cost more than the tickets for four people

    Response from Host, May 2025

    Something for Everyone

    Tami_K, May 2025
It’s such a lovely and serene walk to the skywalk. And the incline to the top is gradual and way to manage. The views were AMAZING! Walking across the net at the top is for those with an adventurous spirit, for sure! But then the slide back down is loads of fun!
