They never showed up!! :(

Terrible! The tour operator never showed up to the start location!! We came 10 minutes early and messaged the tour operator, no response. Contacted Viator as well and they are doing “investigation” so who knows if we will get reimbursed. Ridiculous. How can you run tours and not even bother to show up or contact the people who booked?

I see a lot of good reviews and I really hope that these people had a great time, but I had a less enjoyable evening. I arrived at the agreed location and waited there for almost an hour. No one showed up and no one was available to communicate with. I was at the exact location, on the stairs across the youth hostel. I eventually got my money back through Viator, but it is ridiculous that they abandon you like that without any form of communication. Too bad.

Hi Jay we are sorry this has happened to you. Im unsure what could have happened as the guides always pass this location and do a pick up inside the hostel. Also, if you communicated through viator they will contact us directly for a response. It seems we let you down on all sides and we apologise for this. Good price for 4-5 shots. However, I feel like the groups should be smaller. There were about 80 of us, and we crowded the street as well each bar. Very diverse crowd which is nice, but also very young. As a couple I probably wouldn’t do it again, but I think it’s a great way to meet people otherwise. We spent ~50 min at each bar, which sometimes felt like too much. Drinks at each bar were more on the expensive side. No accountability measures due to how large the group was.

If we have enough notice we do our best to try and split the group's until we reach the larger bars or the club to ensure the issues you mentioned are avoided. However, this is not always an option. We are happy to read you thought the service was good value for money and it is unfortunate that the experience had too many people for you to feel fully satisfied. We will take everything you have mentioned into account with us moving forward. As you can imagine after the pandemic, the seasonal patterns are slightly different so we are working to adjust to this accordingly! We had a 10 minute delay to get to the meeting point as no Uber was available even though we tried to book an hour in advance. Moreover, the Uber could not get us directly to the meeting point. We had to walk to get there and the place was hard to find hence our delay. Normally, we always make sure to arrive 15 to 30 minutes in advance during our tours and excursions. We tried to contact the tour provider to notify him, but we had no feedback from him. We were able to communicate with Viator. They also tried to join the guide without success. So we had to turn back. I doubt the trick happened. We were very disappointed. VIATOR paid us back quickly.
