The good was a decent tour led by our very good guide Mar. The not so good was communication with the tour operator, Valencia Bikes, which was apparently due to who I booked my tour through, which is viator.com. I sent two messages that were not answered regarding if there was an upgrade cost to an E bike, and if so, what that was. I didn’t get a response, and so was unable to change my plans when I found out that the upgrade cost was €20, higher than its competitors, and much higher than I’ve seen in other cities. The staff was quite professional, however, completely unwilling to compromise on what I felt was a bad situation. So, note that there is a €20 upgrade cost for an E bike, that water is not provided as is mentioned in the website, and bike helmets are not provided either, which isn’t mentioned. However, nobody in the city riding a bike seems to wear a helmet, but only scooter riders. BTW, I regretted spending the extra €20 each for the electric bike. It really is flat and not nearly as arduous as my last tour, and I could have gotten by without the power boost!

I highly recommend this bike tour!

We had a great on this bike ride in Valencia. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city's history, etc. We took this tour on our first day; it was the perfect introduction!
